A critical unaddressed problem in Park.nson’s disease is the lack.of therapy that slows or hampers *** medications effectively manage symptoms,they offer no long-term benefit because they fail to address the underlying neuronal *** highlights that the elusive goals of halting progression and restoring damaged neurons limit the long-term impact of current *** clinical trials using gene therapy have demonstrated the safety of various vector delivery systems,dosages,and transgenes expressed in the central nervous system,signifying tangible and substantial progress in applying gene therapy as a promising Park.nson’s disease ***,at diagnosis,many dopamine neurons remain in the substantia nigra,offering a potential window for recovery and *** propose that modulating these surviving dopamine neurons and axons in the substantia nigra and striatum using gene therapy offers a potentially more impactful therapeutic approach for future ***,innovative gene therapies that focus on preserving the remaining elements may have significant potential for enhancing long-term outcomes and the quality of life for patients with Park.nson’s *** this review,we provide a perspective on how gene therapy can protect vulnerable elements in the substantia nigra and striatum,offering a novel approach to addressing Park.nson’s disease at its core.

Coaxial plasma guns are a type of plasma source that produces plasma which propagates radially and axially controlled by the shape of the ground electrode, which has attracted much interest in several applications. In this work. a 120° opening angle of CPG nozzle is used as a plasma gun configuration that operates at the energy of 150 J. The ionization of polyethylene insulator between the electrodes of the gun produces a cloud of hydrogen and carbon *** triple Langmuir probe and Faraday cup are used to measure plasma density and plasma temperature. These methods are used to measure the on-axis and off-axis plasma divergence of the coaxial plasma gun. The peak.values of ion densities measured at a distance of 25 mm on-axis from the plasma gun are(1.6±0.5)×10^(19)m^(-3)and(2.8±0.6)×10^(19)m^(-3)for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively and the peak.temperature is 3.02±0.5 eV. The mean propagation velocity of plasma is calculated using the transit times of plasma at different distances from the plasma gun and is found to be 4.54±0.25 cm/μs and 1.81±0.18 cm/μs for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively. The Debye radius is obtained from the measured experimental data that satisfies the thin sheath approximation. The shot-to-shot stability of plasma parameters facilitates the use of plasma guns in laboratory experiments. These types of plasma sources can be used in many applications lik. plasma opening switches, plasma devices, and as plasma sources.

In the present work. analytical solutions for laminated composite doubly curved panels on rectangular plan form undergoing small deformations and subjected to uniformly distributed transverse load have been obtained. The problem is formulated using first order shear deformation theory. The spatial descretization of the linear differential equations is carried out using fast converging finite double Chebyshev series. The effect of panel thick.ess, curvature, boundary conditions, lamination scheme as well as material property on the static response of panel has been investigated in detail.

The present study was undertak.n in five major forest types （dominated by Quercus semecarpifolia, Quercusfloribunda, Acer acuminatum, Abiespindrow and Aesculus indica, respectively） between 2400 and 2850 m a.s.1, in a moist temperate forest of the Mandal-Chopta area in the Garhwal region of Uttarak.and, India. The aim was to assess the variation in composition and diversity in different vegetation layers, i.e., herb, shrub and tree, among these five forest types. Diversity indices, such as the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, density, total basal cover, Simpson＇s concentration of dominance index, Simpson＇s diversity index, Pielou＇s equitability, species richness, species heterogeneity and r-diversity, were calculated to understand community structures. Dominance-diversity curves were drawn to ascertain resource apportionment among various species in different forest types.

This article discusses short–term forecasting of the novel Corona Virus(COVID-19)data for infected and recovered cases using the ARIMA method for Saudi *** COVID-19 data was obtained from the Worldometer and MOH(Ministry of Health,Saudi Arabia).The data was analyzed for the period from March 2,2020(the first case reported)to June 15,*** ARIMA(2,1,0),we obtained the short forecast up to July 02,*** statistical parameters were tested for the goodness of fit to evaluate the forecasting *** results show that ARIMA(2,1,0)gave a better forecast for the data *** 19 data followed quadratic behavior,and in the long run,it spreads with a high *** is concluded that COVID-19 will follow secondary shock.waves,and it is strongly advisable to maintain social distancing with all safety measures as the pandemic situation is not in control.

Biotic and abiotic stresses impose a serious limitation on crop productivity worldwide. Prior or simultaneous exposure to one type of stress often affects the plant response to other stresses, indicating extensive overlap and cross-talk.between stress-response signaling pathways. Systems biology approaches that integrate large genomic and prot-eomic data sets have facilitated identification of candidate genes that govern this stress-regulatory crosstalk. Recently, we constructed a yeast two-hybrid map around three rice proteins that control the response to biotic and abiotic stresses, namely the immune receptor XA21, which confers resistance to the Gram-negative bacterium, Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae; NH1, the rice ortholog of NPR1, a k.y regulator of systemic acquired resistance; and the ethylene-responsive transcription factor, SUBIA, which confers tolerance to submergence stress. These studies coupled with transcriptional profiling and co-expression analyses identified a suite of proteins that are positioned at the interface of biotic and abiotic stress responses, including mitogen-activated protein k.nase 5 （OsMPk.）, wall-associated k.nase 25 （WAk.5）, sucrose non-fermenting-l-related protein k.nase-1 （SnRk.）, SUBIA binding protein 23 （SAB23）, and several WRk. family tran- scription factors. Emerging evidence suggests that these genes orchestrate crosstalk.between biotic and abiotic stresses through a variety of mechanisms, including regulation of cellular energy homeostasis and modification of synergistic and/or antagonistic interactions between the stress hormones salicylic acid, ethylene, jasmonic acid, and abscisic acid.
