The control synthesis of a high-speed supercavitating vehicle(HSSV)faces many difficulties such as the stability,control,and maneuvering with dynamical uncertainties due to parameter perturbations,exter-nal disturbances,unmodeled dynamics,measurement noises,and actuator *** by the HSSV dynamical analysis,this paper proposes the H∞(i.e."H-infinity")robust control synthesis to gen-erate a robust low-order controller,which is intended for real implementations to ensure active control ***,the presented control scheme includes a feedback component and an anti-windup *** anti-windup synthesis is to provide system stability under actuator ***-tensive simulations show that the designed controller provides good performances with high robustness for vertical plane manoeuver while effectively eliminating planning forces,exogenous disturbances and noises as well as overcoming cavitator saturations.

Lung cancer has the highest mortality rate among all cancers,in part because it readily *** tumor microenvironment,comprising blood vessels,fibroblasts,immune cells,and macrophages[including tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs)],is closely related to cancer cell growth,migration,and *** secrete several cytokines,including interleukin(IL)-1β,which participate in cancer migration and invasion.p21-activated kinase 1(PAK1),an important signaling molecule,induces cell migration and invasion in several ***responsive enhancer-binding protein(TonEBP)is also known to participate in cancer cell growth,migration,and ***,the mechanisms by which it increases lung cancer migration remain ***,in this study,we aimed to elucidate the mechanisms by which IL-1βand TonEBP affect lung cancer cell migration and *** found that A549 cocultured-MΦ-secreted IL-1βinduced A549 cell migration and invasion via the PAK1 *** deficiency reduced A549 cell migration and invasion and increased responsiveness to IL-1β–induced migration and ***1 phosphorylation,which was promoted by IL-1β,was reduced when TonEBP was *** results suggest that TonEBP plays an important role in IL-1βinduction and invasiveness of A549 cells via the PAK1 *** findings could be valuable in identifying potential targets for lung cancer treatment.

BACKGROUND Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract,with tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αplaying a key role in its ***,a decoy receptor for TNF,is used to treat inflammatory *** secretome derived from adipose-derived stem cells(ASCs)has anti-inflammatory effects,making it a promising therapeutic option for *** To investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of the secretome obtained from ASCs synthesizing etanercept on colon cells and in a dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced IBD mouse *** ASCs were transfected with etanercept-encoding mini-circle plasmids to create etanercept-producing *** secretory material from these cells was then tested for anti-inflammatory effects both in vitro and in a DSS-induced IBD mouse *** This study revealed promising results indicating that the group treated with the secretome derived from etanercept-synthesizing ASCs[Etanercept-Secretome(Et-Sec)group]had significantly lower expression levels of inflammatory mediators,such as interleukin-6,Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1,and TNF-α,when compared to the control secretome(Ct-Sec).Moreover,the Et-Sec group exhibited a marked therapeutic effect in terms of preserving the architecture of intestinal tissue compared to the *** These results suggest that the secretome derived from ASCs that synthesize etanercept has potential as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of IBD,potentially enhancing treatment efficacy by merging the anti-inflam-matory qualities of the ASC secretome with etanercept's targeted approach to better address the multifaceted pathophysiology of IBD.

BACKGROUND Recent advancements in nanomedicine have highlighted the potential of exosome(Ex)-based therapies,utilizing naturally derived nanoparticles,as a novel approach to targeted cancer *** To explore the targetability and anticancer effectiveness of small interfering peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase NIMA-interacting 1 RNA(siPIN1)-loaded soluble a proliferation-inducing ligand(sAPRIL)-targeted Exs(designated as tEx[p])in the treatment of colon cancer *** tEx was generated by harvesting conditioned media from adipose-derived stem cells that had undergone transformation using pDisplay vectors encoding sAPRIL-binding peptide ***,tEx[p]were created by incorporating PIN1 siRNA into the tEx using the Exofect *** therapeutic efficacy of these Exs was evaluated using both in vitro and in vivo models of colon *** The tEx[p]group exhibited superior anticancer effects in comparison to other groups,including tEx,Ex[p],and Ex,demonstrated by the smallest tumor size,the slowest tumor growth rate,and the lightest weight of the excised tumors observed in the tEx[p]group(P<0.05).Moreover,analyses of the excised tumor tissues,using western blot analysis and immunohistochemical staining,revealed that tEx[p]treatment resulted in the highest increase in Ecadherin expression and the most significant reduction in the mesenchymal markers Vimentin and Snail(P<0.05),suggesting a more effective inhibition of epithelial-mesenchymal transition tEx[p],likely due to the enhanced delivery of *** The use of bioengineered Exs targeting sAPRIL and containing siPIN1 demonstrated superior efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth and epithelial-mesenchymal transition,highlighting their potential as a therapeutic strategy for colon cancer.

Li-CO_(2)batteries are highly anticipated as promising candidates for advanced electrochemical energy storage systems owing to their high theoretical specific energy of 1876 Wh kg^(-1),based on the discharge products of Li_(2)CO_(3)and C,their environmentally benign CO_(2)utilization [1].Since CO_(2)is the main component of the atmosphere on Mars,Li-CO_(2)batteries can serve as an excellent power source for Mars exploration ***,several key issues remain unresolved,such as the slow kinetics of CO_(2)reduction reaction(CRR) and CO_(2)evolution reaction(CER),the severe side reaction between Li with CO_(2),and the risk of the electrolyte combustion due to thermal runaway,all of which hinder the practical application of Li-CO_(2)batteries.
