Does Seed Priming Induce Changes in the Levels of Some Endogenous Plant Hormones in Hexaploid Wheat Plants Under Salt Stress？

In order to assess whether salt tolerance could be Improved In spring wheat （Triticum aestivum L.）, the present study was performed by soaking the seeds of two cultlvars, namely MH-97 （salt sensitive） and Inqlab-91 （salt tolerant）, for 12 h In distilled water or 100 mol/m^3 CaCl2, KCI, or NaCI. Primed seeds from each treatment group and non-primed seeds were sown In a field In which NaCI salinity of 15 dS/m was developed. Priming of seeds with CaCl2, followed by priming with KCI and NaCI, was found to be effective In alleviating the adverse effects of salt stress on both wheat cultivars In terms of shoot fresh and dry weights and grain yield. Priming with CaCl2 alleviated the adverse effects of salt stress on hormonal balance In plants of both cultlvars. In MH-97 plants, CaCl2 pretreatment considerably reduced leaf absclslc acid （ABA） concentrations and Increased leaf free salicylic acid （SA） concentrations under both saline and non-saline conditions. In contrast, In the Inqlab-91 plant, CaCl2 Increased free Indoleacetic acid （IAA） and indolebutyrlc acid （IBA） content. However, priming of seeds with CaCl2 did not alter free polyamlne levels in either cultlvar, although spermldlne levels were considerably lower In plants raised from seeds treated with CaCl2 for both cultlvars under saline conditions. Priming with KCI Increased growth In Inqlab-91 plants, but not In MH-97 plants, under saline conditions. The salinity Induced reducUon In auxins （IAA and IBA） was alleviated by NaCI priming In both cultlvars under saline conditions. However, NaCI Increased leaf free ABA content and lowered leaf SA and putresclne levels In Inqlab-91 plants under saline conditions. In conclusion, although all three priming agents （I.e. CaCl2, KCI, and NaCI） were effective In alleviating the adverse effects of salt stress on wheat plants, their effects on altering the levels of different plant hormones were different In the two cuItlvars.

Land use changes in urbanization,industrialization,and agricultural processes will continue to have negative impacts on water quality at all *** impact of land use changes on water quality is generally studied by analyzing the relationships between land use and water quality ***,the purpose of this research was to review and analyze the main relationships between land use and water quality,as well as to visualize the major sources and processes of water quality pollution in *** achieve our goal,we evaluated the significance of both land use and water quality attributes used in the past studies and correlated them to understand their relationship from another angle of *** results revealed that 87%of the reviewed studies indicated urban land use as a major source of water pollution,while 82%indicated agricultural land use,77%indicated forest land use,and 44%indicated other land ***,the results of correlation analysis showed that agricultural and forest-related activities more affected water quality through their significant positive correlation with physical and chemical indicators of water quality,while urban development activities had a greater impact on water quality through altering hydrological processes such as runoff and *** findings would provide decision-makers with useful information for managing water pollution processes rather than sources only.

Renewable energy resources are deemed a potential energy production source due to their cost efficiency and harmless reaction to the environment,unlike non-renewable energy ***,they often fail to meet energy requirements in unfavorable weather *** concept of Hybrid renewable energy resources addresses this issue by integrating both renewable and non-renewable energy resources to meet the required energy *** this paper,an intelligent cost optimization algorithm is proposed to maximize the use of renewable energy resources and minimum utilization of non-renewable energy resources to meet the energy requirement for a nanogrid *** actual data set comprising information about the load and demand of utility grids is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed nanogrid energy management *** objective function is formulated to manage the nanogrid operation and implemented using a variant of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)named recurrent PSO(rPSO).Firstly,rPSO algorithm minimizes the installation cost for ***,the proposed NEMS ensures cost efficiency for the post-installation period by providing a daily operational plan and optimizing renewable ***-of-the-art optimization models,including Genetic Algorithm(GA),bat and different Mathematical Programming Language(AMPL)solvers,are used to evaluate the *** study’s outcomes suggest that the proposed work significantly reduces the use of diesel generators and fosters the use of renewable energy resources and beneficiates the eco-friendly environment.

Some exact solutions of the oscillatory motion of a generalized second grade fluid in an annular region of two cylinders

The velocity field and the associated shear stress corresponding to the longitudinal oscillatory flow of a generalized second grade fluid, between two infinite coaxial circular cylinders, are determined by means of the Laplace and Hankel transforms. Initially, the fluid and cylinders are at rest and at t = 0＋ both cylinders suddenly begin to oscillate along their common axis with simple harmonic motions having angular frequencies Ω1 and Ω2. The solutions that have been obtained are presented under integral and series forms in terms of the generalized G and R functions and satisfy the governing differential equation and all imposed initial and boundary conditions. The respective solutions for the motion between the cylinders, when one of them is at rest, can be obtained from our general solutions. Furthermore, the corresponding solutions for the similar flow of ordinary second grade fluid and Newtonian fluid are also obtained as limiting cases of our general solutions. At the end, the effect of different parameters on the flow of ordinary second grade and generalized second grade fluid are investigated graphically by plotting velocity profiles.

Improving of photocatalytic activity of barium ferrate via bismuth and copper co-doping for degradation of paracetamol under visible light irradiation

Synthesis of scl-poly （3-hydroxyalkanoates） by Bacillus cereus found in freshwater, from monosaccharides and disaccharides

BACKGROUND： Polyhydroxyalkanoates are a good substitute for synthetic plastic because they are highly biocompatible, ecofriendly, and biodegradable. Bacteria in freshwater bodies such as rivers, tube wells, and canals are exposed to alternating high and low concentrations of substrates that induce PHA production. METHODS： Fresh water samples were collected for isolation of bacterial strains. Screening of PHA in bacterial cells was performed with Sudan and Nile Red staining. Extracted PHA was characterized by FTIR. RESULTS： In this study, nine bacterial isolates were selected for PHA production on the basis ofphenotypic screening. Their ability to accumulate PHAs was determined using different monosaccharides and disaccharides. Two bacterial isolates Bacillus cereus T1 （KY746353） and Bacillus cereus R3 （KY746354） produced PHAs. Optimal growth of the bacterial strain （T1） was observed in the presence of glucose, followed by maximum production of PHAs （63% PHAs） during the logarithmic phase of growth. B. cereus R3 （KY746354） accumulated 60% PHAs by dry cell weight. CONCLUSION： PHA accumulation was relatively less with fructose, but both strains showed increased production （up to 50%） with sucrose. The polymer produced was characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）, which showed that the compound contains short-chain PHAs.

A bipolar single-valued neutrosophic set can deal with the hesitation relevant to the information of any decision making problem in real life scenarios,where bipolar fuzzy sets may fail to handle those hesitation *** this study,we first develop a new method for solving linear programming problems based on bipolar singlevalued neutrosophic ***,we apply the score function to transform bipolar single-valued neutrosophic problems into crisp linear programming ***,we apply the proposed technique to solve fully bipolar single-valued neutrosophic linear programming problems with non-negative triangular bipolar single-valued neutrosophic numbers(TBSvNNs)and non-negative trapezoidal bipolar single-valued neutrosophic numbers(TrBSvNNs).

Wheat species play important role in the price of products and wheat production *** are several mathematical models used for the estimation of the wheat crop but these models are implemented without considering the wheat species which is an important independent *** task of wheat species identification is challenging both for human experts as well as for computer vision-based *** the use of satellite remote sensing,it is possible to identify and monitor wheat species on a large scale at any stage of the crop life *** this work,nine popular wheat species are identified by using Landsat8 operational land imager(OLI)and thermal infrared sensor(TIRS)*** thousand samples of eachwheat crop species are acquired every fifteen days with a temporal resolution of ten multispectral bands(band two to band eleven).This study employs random forest(RF),artificial neural network,support vector machine,Naive Bayes,and logistic regression for nine types of wheat *** addition,deep neural networks are also *** results indicate that RF shows the best performance of 91%accuracy while DNN obtains a 90.2%*** suggest that remotely sensed data can be used in wheat type estimation and to improve the performance of the mathematical models.

The data being generated by the Internet of Things needs to be stored,monitored,and analyzed for maximum IoT resource *** Defined Networking has been extensively utilized to address issues such as heterogeneity and ***,for small-scale IoT application,sometimes it is considered an inefficient *** paper proposes an alternate lightweight mechanism to the design and implementation of a dynamic virtual network based on user *** key idea is to provide users a virtual interface that enables them to reconfigure the communication flow between the sensors and actuators at *** throughput of the communication flow depends on the data traffic load and optimal *** can reconfigure the communication flow,and virtual agents find the optimal route to handle the traffic *** virtual network provides a user-friendly interface to allow physical devices to be mapped with the corresponding virtual *** proposed network is applicable for all systems that lie in the Internet of Things *** conclude that the proposed network is efficient,reliable,and responsive to network reconfiguration at runtime.
