The corrosion behavior and microstructure characteristics of metal inert gas(MIG)welded dissimilar joints of the 6005A alloy modified with sc(designated as 6005A+sc)and the 5083 alloy were investigated using corrosion tests and microscopy *** show that the dissimilar joints exhibit strong stress corrosion cracking(sCC)resistance,maintaining substantial strength during slow strain rate tensile ***,the heat-affected zone(HAZ)and base metal(BM)on the 6005A+sc side show superior performance in terms of inter-granular corrosion(IGC)and exfoliation corrosion(ExCO)compared to the corresponding zones on the 5083 *** lower corrosion resistance of the 5083-BM and the 5083-HAZ can be attributed to the presence of numerous Al_(2)Mg_(3)phases and micro-scaled Al_(6)(Mn,Fe)intermetallics,mainly distributed along the rolling ***,the enhanced corrosion resistance of the 6005A+sc-BM and the 6005A+sc-HAZ can be attributed to the discontinuously distributed grain boundary precipitates(β-Mg_(2)si),the smaller grain size,and the reduced corrosive current density.

There have been reports of potential health risks for people from hydrophobic organic pollutants,such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),polychlorinated hydrocarbons(PCHs),and organophosphate flame retardants(OPFRs).When a contaminated site is used for residential housing or public utility and recreation areas,the soil-bound organic pollutantsmight pose a threat to human *** this study,we investigated the contamination profiles and potential risks to human health of 15 PAHs,6 PCHs,and 12 OPFRs in soils from four contaminated sites in *** used an in vitro method to determine the oral bioaccessibility of soil *** PAHswere found at concentrations ranging from26.4 ng/g to 987 ng/***(0.27-14.3 ng/g)and OPFRs(6.30-310 ng/g)were detected,but at low levels compared to earlier *** levels of PAHs,PCHs,and OPFRs released from contaminated soils into simulated gastrointestinal fluids ranged from 1.74%to 91.0%,2.51%to 39.6%,and 1.37%to 96.9%,*** on both spiked and unspiked samples,we found that the oral bioaccessibility of pollutantswas correlated with their logKow andmolecularweight,and the total organic carbon content and pH of *** in 13 out of 38 contaminated soil samples posed potential high risks to *** considering oral bioaccessibility,nine soils still posed potential risks,while the risks in the remaining soils became *** contribution of this paper is that it corrects the health risk of soil-bound organic pollutants by detecting bioaccessibility in actual soils from different contaminated sites.

Lead-halide perovskite nanoparticles(LHP NPs) are highly promising materials for next-generation displays and solid-state lighting due to their exceptional optical properties. However, their inherent instability presents a significant challenge. Recent advances have demonstrated that optoelectronic devices based on monolayer nanoparticle films exhibit both high luminescence efficiency and long-term *** research demonstrates that mobility limitations and anisotropic alignments in CsPbBr3nanocube monolayer films are key to their stabilization, hindering spontaneous growth through face-to-face fusion and resulting in the formation of connecting necks in a diagonal direction. Introducing laser irradiation confirmed this by significantly accelerating nanocubes growth, increasing mobility, and enhancing local structural ordering, leading to larger and more regularly shaped nanosheets. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy line-scan analyses indicated that laser irradiation did not disrupt the ligand structure. Transmission electron microscopy and correlative cathodoluminescence electron microscopy revealed the effects of post-growth and heterogeneous structures, including enhanced luminescence and inhomogeneous intensity in the nanosheets. These findings deepen the understanding of the post-growth mechanism of monolayer nanoparticles and the structure-emission correlation and highlight the unique role of laser irradiation in directing the formation of well-defined and regular nanostructures.

The chemistry of sulfur cycle contributes significantly to the atmospheric nucleation process,which is the first step of new particle formation(NPF).In the present study,cycloaddition reaction mechanism of sulfur trioxide(sO_(3))to hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)s)which is a typical air pollutant and toxic gas detrimental to the environment were comprehensively investigate through theoretical calculations and Atmospheric Cluster Dynamic Code ***-phase stability and nucleation potential of the product thiosulfuric acid(H_(2)s_(2)O_(3),TsA)were further analyzed to evaluate its atmospheric *** any catalysts,the H_(2)s+sO_(3)reaction is infeasible with a barrier of 24.2 kcal/*** nucleation precursors formic acid(FA),sulfuric acid(sA),and water(H_(2)O)could effectively lower the reaction barriers as catalysts,even to a barrierless reaction with the efficiency of cis-sA>trans-FA>trans-sA>H_(2)***,the gas-phase stability of TsA was investigated.A hydrolysis reaction barrier of up to 61.4 kcal/mol alone with an endothermic isomerization reaction barrier of 5.1 kcal/mol under the catalytic effect of sA demonstrates the sufficient stability of ***,topological and kinetic analysis were conducted to determine the nucleation potential of *** clusters formed by TsA and atmospheric nucleation precursors(sA,ammonia NH_(3),and dimethylamine DMA)were thermodynamically ***,the gradually decreasing evaporation coefficients for TsA-base clusters,particularly for TsA-DMA,suggests that TsA may participate in NPF where the concentration of base molecules are relatively *** present new reaction mechanismmay contributes to a better understanding of atmospheric sulfur cycle and NPF.

The reduction of nitrobenzene to aniline is very important for both pollution control and chemical ***,difficulties still remain in developing a catalytic system having high efficiency and selectivity for the production of ***,it was found that PdO nanoparticles highly dispersed on TiO_(2)support(PdO/TiO_(2))functioned as a highly efficient catalyst for the reduction of nitrobenzene in the presence of *** favorable conditions,95%of the added nitrobenzene(1 mmol/L)was reduced within 1 min with an ultra-low apparent activation energy of 10.8 kJ/mol by using 0.5%PdO/TiO_(2)as catalysts and 2 mmol/L of NaBH4 as reductants,and the selectivity to aniline even reached up to 98%.The active hydrogen specieswere perceived as dominant species during the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene by the results of isotope labeling experiments and EsR spectroscopic.A mechanismwas proposed as follows:PdO activates the nitro groups and leads to in-situ generation of Pd,and the generated Pd acts as the reduction sites to produce active hydrogen *** this catalytic system,nitrobenzene prefers to be adsorbed on the PdO nanoparticles of the PdO/TiO_(2)***,the addition of NaBH4 results in in-situ generation of a Pd/PdO/TiO_(2)composite from the PdO/TiO_(2)composite,and the Pd nanoclusters would activate NaBH4 to generate active hydrogen species to attack the adsorbed nitro *** work will open up a new approach for the catalytic transfer hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline in green chemistry.

Lanthanide ions(Ln^(3+))doping provides a potential strategy to control over the luminescent properties of lead-free halide double perovskite nanocrystals(DP NCs).However,due to the low energy transfer efficiency between self-trapped exciton(sTE)and Ln^(3+)ions,the characteristic emissions of Ln^(3+)ions are not ***,the energy transfer mechanism between sTE and Ln^(3+)ions is also elusive and requires in-depth *** chose trace Bi^(3+)-doped Cs_(2)Ag_(0.6)Na_(0.4)InCl_(6-x)Br_(x) as a representative DP matrix to demonstrate that by tuning the bromide concentration,the Ln^(3+)emission can be greatly *** enhanced sTE and Ln^(3+)ions energy transfer originates from the high covalency of Ln-Br bond,which contributes to improve ment of the characteristic emission of Ln^(3+)*** re,optical spectroscopy reveals that the energy transfer mechanism from DP to Eu^(3+)ions is different from all the other doped Ln^(3+)*** energy transfer from DP to Eu^(3+)ions is mostly through Eu-Br charge transfer while the other Ln^(3+)ions are excited by energy transfer from *** distinct energy transfer mechanism has resulted from the energy separation between the excited energy level of Ln^(3+)ions and the bottom of conduction band of *** increasing the energy separation,the energy transfer from sTE to Ln^(3+)ions is less efficient because of the generation of a larger number of phonons and finally becomes impossible for Eu^(3+)*** results provide new insight into tuning the energy transfer of Ln^(3+)-doped DP NCs.

An electrically activable nanochip to intensify gas-ionic-immunotherapy

Excess intracellular H_(2)s induces destructive mitochondrial toxicity,while overload of Zn^(2+)results in cell pyroptosis and potentiates the tumor immunogenicity for ***,the precise delivery of both therapeutics remains a great ***,an electrically activable Zns nanochip for the controlled release of H_(2)s and Zn^(2+)was developed for enhanced gas-ionic-immunotherapy(GIIT).Under an electric field,a locality with particularly high concentrations of H_(2)s and Zn^(2+)was established by the voltage-controlled degradation of the Zns nanoparticles(NPs).Consequently,the Zns nanochip-mediated gas-ionic therapy(GIT)resulted in mitochondrial membrane potential depolarization,energy generation inhibition,and oxidative stress imbalance in tumor ***,the cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase-stimulator of interferon genes(cGAs-sTING)signaling pathway was activated due to the mitochondrial ***,the released Zn^(2+)resulted in the increase of the intracellular Zn levels and cell pyroptosis,which enhanced the immunogenicity via the release of damage-associated molecular patterns(DAMPs).In vitro and in vivo studies revealed that the Zns nanochip-based GIT effectively eliminated the tumors under an electric field and mobilized the cytotoxic T lymphocytes for *** combination withαCTLA-4 further promoted the adaptive immune response and inhibited tumor metastasis and long-term tumor *** work presented an electrically activable Zns nanochip for combined immunotherapy,which might inspire the development of electric stimulation therapy.

When a ship moves in an oblique flow, its hydrodynamic loads and wake characteristics vary substantially from those in straight-ahead motion. This dissimilarity can be even more complex when the ship operates in a seaway of shallow water. In this paper, a numerical analysis of the shallow-water effect on the hydrodynamic forces and wake characteristics of an international ship model, KVLCC2, in oblique flows is conducted. Numerical simulations are performed based on the Reynolds Averaged Navierstokes equation in conjunction with the shear stress transport(ssT) k-ω turbulence model. Four relative water depths(h = 1.2T, 1.5T, 3.0T, and 24T; T is the ship draft) and five different drift angles(β = 0?, 5?, 10?, 15?, and 20?) are considered. Results reveal the following: i) The shallow-water effect is strong and leads to nonlinear increases in the longitudinal force regardless of drift angles and on the transverse force and yaw moment whenever the drift angle increases. ii) In shallow water, the mean wake fraction is sensitive to the drift angle, and the strength of the aft-body vortex on the leeward side increases.

Internal multiples are commonly present in seismic data due to variations in velocity or density of subsurface media. They can reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of seismic data and degrade the quality of the image. With the development of seismic exploration into deep and ultradeep events, especially those from complex targets in the western region of China, the internal multiple eliminations become increasingly challenging. Currently, three-dimensional(3D) seismic data are primarily used for oil and gas target recognition and drilling. Effectively eliminating internal multiples in 3D seismic data of complex structures and mitigating their adverse effects is crucial for enhancing the success rate of drilling. In this study, we propose an internal multiple prediction algorithm for 3D seismic data in complex structures using the Marchenko autofocusing theory. This method can predict the accurate internal multiples of time difference without an accurate velocity model and the implementation process mainly consists of several steps. Firstly, simulating direct waves with a 3D macroscopic velocity ***, using direct waves and 3D full seismic acquisition records to obtain the upgoing and downgoing Green's functions between the virtual source point and surface. Thirdly, constructing internal multiples of the relevant layers by upgoing and downgoing Green's functions. Finally, utilizing the adaptive matching subtraction method to remove predicted internal multiples from the original data to obtain seismic records without multiples. Compared with the two-dimensional(2D) Marchenko algorithm, the performance of the 3D Marchenko algorithm for internal multiple prediction has been significantly enhanced, resulting in higher computational accuracy. Numerical simulation test results indicate that our proposed method can effectively eliminate internal multiples in 3D seismic data,thereby exhibiting important theoretical and industrial application value.
