Realising the potential of Magnesium(Mg),several globally leading ventures have invested in the Mg industry,but their relatively poor corrosion resistance is a never ending saga till *** corrosion and bio-corrosion behaviour of Mg has gained research attention and still remains a hot topic in the application of automobile,aerospace and biomedical *** intrinsic high electrochemical nature of Mg limits their utilization in diverse *** scenario has prompted the development of Mg composites with an aim to achieve superior corrosion and bio-corrosion *** present review enlightens the influence of grain size(Gs),secondary phase,texture,type of matrix and reinforcement on the corrosion and bio-corrosion behaviour of Mg ***,the corrosion and bio-corrosion behaviour of Mg composites manufactured by primary and secondary processing routes are ***,the comprehensive corrosion and bio-corrosion mechanisms of these Mg composites are ***,the individual role of Gs,texture and corrosive medium on corrosion and bio-corrosion behaviour of Mg composites are clarified and *** challenges encountered,unanswered issues in this field are explained in detail and accordingly the scope for future research is *** review is presented from basic concrete background to advanced corrosion mechanisms with an aim of creating interest among the readers like students,researchers and industry experts from various research ***,the corrosion and bio-corrosion behaviour of Mg composites are critically reviewed for the first time to:(i)contribute to the body of knowledge,(ii)foster research and development,(iii)make breakthrough,and(iv)create life changing innovations in the field of Mg composite corrosion.

The Wireless sensor Network(WsN)is a network that is constructed in regions that are inaccessible to human *** widespread deployment of wireless micro sensors will make it possible to conduct accurate environmental monitoring for a use in both civil and military *** make use of these data to monitor and keep track of the physical data of the surrounding environment in order to ensure the sustainability of the *** data have to be picked up by the sensor,and then sent to the sink node where they may be *** nodes of the WsNs are powered by batteries,therefore they eventually run out of *** energy restriction has an effect on the network life span and environmental *** objective of this study is to further improve the Engroove Leach(EL)protocol’s energy efficiency so that the network can operate for a very long time while consuming the least amount of *** lifespan of WsNs is being extended often using clustering and routing *** Meta Inspired Hawks Fragment Optimization(MIHFO)system,which is based on passive clustering,is used in this study to do *** cluster head is chosen based on the nodes’residual energy,distance to neighbors,distance to base station,node degree,and node *** on distance,residual energy,and node degree,an algorithm known as Heuristic Wing Antfly Optimization(HWAFO)selects the optimum path between the cluster head and Base station(Bs).They examine the number of nodes that are active,their energy consumption,and the number of data packets that the Bs *** overall experimentation is carried out under the MATLAB *** the analysis,it has been discovered that the suggested approach yields noticeably superior outcomes in terms of throughput,packet delivery and drop ratio,and average energy consumption.

In this digital era,Cardio Vascular Disease(CVD)has become the lead-ing cause of death which has led to the mortality of 17.9 million lives each *** Diagnosis of the people who are at higher risk of CVDs helps them to receive proper treatment and helps prevent *** becomes inevitable to pro-pose a solution to predict the CVD with high accuracy.A system for predicting Cardio Vascular Disease using Deep Neural Network with Binarized Butterﬂy Optimization Algorithm(DNN–BBoA)is *** BBoA is incorporated to select the best *** optimal features are fed to the deep neural network classiﬁer and it improves prediction accuracy and reduces the time *** usage of a deep neural network further helps to improve the prediction accu-racy with minimal *** proposed system is tested with two datasets namely the Heart disease dataset from UCI repository and CVD dataset from Kag-gle *** proposed work is compared with different machine learning classiﬁers such as support Vector Machine,Random Forest,and Decision Tree Classiﬁ*** accuracy of the proposed DNN–BBoA is 99.35%for the heart dis-ease data set from UCI repository yielding an accuracy of 80.98%for Kaggle repository for cardiovascular disease dataset.

several past studies showed that Autonomous Vehicles(AVs)can reduce crash risk,stop-and-go traffic,and travel *** analyze the safety benefits of AVs,most of the researchers proposed algorithms and simulation-based ***,these studies have not assessed the safety benefits of AVs for different vehicle types under heterogeneous *** this opportunity,this study focuses on the benefits of AVs in terms of safety for different penetration rates under heterogeneous *** study considered three driving logics during peak hour conditions to assess the performance of AVs in terms of *** VIssIM,default driving behavior models for AVs were adopted to consider cautious and all-knowing driving logic and the third driving logic(Atkins)was modeled in VIssIM using parameters adopted from the previous *** this end,using VIssIM,the travel time output results were ***,using surrogate safety Assessment Model(ssAM),conflicts were extracted from output trajectory files(VIssIM).The results suggest that“cautious driving logic”reduced travel time and crash risk significantly when compared to the other two driving logics during peak hour ***,the statistical analysis clearly demonstrated that“cautious driving logic”differs significantly from the other two driving *** Market Penetration Rates(MPR)were 50%or greater,the“cautious driving logic”significantly outperforms the other two driving *** results highlight that adopting“cautious driving logic”at an expressway may significantly increase safety at higher AV penetration rates(above 50%).

Our laboratory study concerns the competitive interaction between two marine rotifer species Bra- chionus plicatilis and Brachionus rotundiformis at five algal （ Nannochloropsis salina） concentrations （0.4＊106 to 32.4x106 cells/ml） and at four initial inoculation densities （numerically, 100% B. pli- catilis; 75% B. plicatilis and 25% B. rotundiforrnis, 50% each of the two species; 25% B. plicatilis and 75% B. rotundiformis and 100% B. rotundiforrnis. The initial biomass varied as 0.33 and 0.22 #g/ml for B. plicatilis and B. rotundiformis respectively. Experiments were performed at （25±1）C. Population densities were enumerated and the medium was changed daily up to 8 d in the ex- periment. At the lowest food level tested, B. rotundiformis formed superior competitor than B. plicatilis, regardless of starting inoculation density. Generally when the food concentrations in- creased, B. plicatilis showed a greater increase in biomass than B. rotundiforrnis. B. rotundiformis formed the largest in population growth, regardless of increasing food concentrations. When grown alone, B. plicatilis reached peak abundances of （1.311 5±0.028） and （137.5±0.014） μg/ml at low and high food densities respectively. The corresponding values of B. rotundiformis were 0.724 5±0.016 and 18.15±0.021. The adverse effects of B. rotundiforrnis on the peak abundances of B. plicatilis were observed at the lowest food level and higher initial density. The rate of population growth in controls varied from （0.792±0.162） to （1.482±0.132） ttm/d for B. plicatilis and （0.445~0.041） to （0.856±0.012） μm/d for B. rotundiformis, depending on food level. When both species were intro- duced together, low food levels favoured higher abundance of B. rotundiforrnis than B. plicatilis, suggesting that increased population density of the smaller B. rotundiforrnis was more successfull than larger B. plicatilis in brackish waters. We studied forest vegetation at Lata-Tolma- Phagti, a protected area and part of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve in the western Himalaya. We analyzed community composition, population structure, regeneration patterns, and projected development of future compositional patterns. We sampled ten 10 x 10 m quadrat for tree species in each of 30 forest stands. We sampled shrubs in ten 5 x 5 m quadrat, and herbs in twenty 1 x 1 m quadrat within each forest stand. We recorded 248 plant species from 8 forest communities. Broadly the demographic profiles at study sites exhibited progressive structures suggesting long term persistence of the communities/species. Density--diameter distribution revealed greater proportions of seedlings and a significant decline （P 〈 0.05） in the proportion of trees in older age/size classes. Of the 23 recorded tree species, 13.0 % showed good, 52.2 % fair, 26.1% poor and 8.7 % no regeneration. Differences in regeneration by species are indicative of future foreststructure and dynamics. Assessment of changes in structure of forest types provides baseline data for development of priorities for conservation of other representative land- scapes in the reserve as well as in the Himalaya.

Experimental and computational analysis has been carried out by many researchers on supersonic cavity flow,but detailed analysis based on Rossiter’s model still requires some *** the current study an open rectangular cavity with a length to depth ratio of 2(L/D=2)and Mach number at the inlet as 1.71,was considered as a baseline configuration for experimental *** techniques such as power spectral density(PsD),correlation,and overall sound pressure level(OAsPL)were carried out on the unsteady pressure data,to analyze the aero-acoustic flow ***-speed schlieren images were processed to obtain spatially coherent modes by proper orthogonal decomposition(POD).The analysis was extended for different dimensions of subcavities on the aft,floor,and front *** detailed analysis of these configurations with different dimensions and combinations revealed the various flow features and mode frequencies in supersonic *** the front wall subcavity act as a passive control device,reducing the overall sound pressure level inside the cavity whereas,the aft wall subcavity acts as a passive resonator with distinct harmonic fluidresonant modes,a similar phenomenon was observed for floor subcavity at different locations.A novel method was employed to analyze Rossiter’s model and its applicability in estimating experimental modes was verified,as it accurately predicted the dominant frequencies with a maximum of 2.74% uncertainty among all the configurations.

Water is an essential natural resource without which life wouldn’t *** study aims to identify groundwater potential areas in Vepapanthattai taluk of Perambalur district,Tamil Nadu,India,using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)*** sensing and magnetic parameters have been used to determine the evaluation indicators for groundwater occurrence under the ArcGIs *** occurrence is linked to structural porosity and permeability over the predominantly hard rock terrain,making magnetic data more relevant for locating groundwater potential zones in the research ***-sW and NW-sE trending magnetic breaks derived from reduction to pole map are found to be more significant for groundwater *** lineaments rose diagram indicates the general trend of the fracture to be in the NE-sW *** normalised criteria weights acquired using the AHP model was used to reclassify the thematic *** a result,the taluk’s low,moderate,and high potential zones cover 25.08%,25.68%and 49.24%of the study area,*** high potential zones exhibit characteristics favourable for groundwater infiltration and storage,with factors as gentle slope ofsities,magnetic breaks,magnetic low zones as indicative of dykes and cracks,lithology as colluvial deposits and land surface with dense *** depth of the fracture zones was estimated using power spectrum and Euler Deconvolution *** groundwater potential mapping results were validated using groundwater level data measured from the wells,which indicated that the groundwater potential zoning results are consistent with the data derived from the real world.
