In a poem composed in 1832, the Chosrn-korean polymath Chrng Yagyong （1762-1836） declared his fidelity towards Confucian literary principles. Chrng＇s poem was a product of an elite education, and in both form and content, it embodied the ideals of the Chosrn elite： written in classical Chinese rather than korean, it was an expression of cultural self-confidence. From the point of view of nationalism and its emphasis on vernaculars, it seems strange to define oneself through a cosmopolitan written language. But Chrng was no nationalist. He was a Confucian conservative, and the sense of distinction and difference that animated Chrng＇s poem was Confucian and literary. His articulation of such ideals manifested unease over the erosion of Confucian literary values in China and the prospect of the same occurring in Chos6n under Chinese influence. The source of that influence was books imported from China. What Chrng was reacting against was, at root, the commodification of literature and all that had entailed in Ming （1368-1644） and Qing （1644-1911） China. Although such concerns had grown increasingly urgent a half-century before, they had a long pedigree in Choson, stretching back to debates that had arisen in relation to Ming China and the principal emblem of the commodification of literature： commercial bookstores. This paper examines some of the principal differences between Chinese and korean literary cultures that were embodied in Chang. It therefore begins with a brief overview of Chang and his poem, before turning to a discussion of some key sociopolitical and intellectual features that distinguished Chosrn＇s literary culture from that of China. sixteenth-century attitudes towards bookstores are discussed to contextualize subsequent worries over Chinese books, with special attention given to the historical and historiographical dimensions of the question, before concluding with an assessment of the final moments of direct Chinese literary influence in korea.

Emergence of grasses late in the season has become a problem in glyphosate-resistant (GR) soybean production in the southern Us. A 3-yr field study was conducted from 2011 to 2013 at stoneville, Ms to determine efficacy of post-harvest and pyroxasulfone-based in-crop herbicides on late-season grasses and yield in twin-row glyphosate-resistant soybean. Experiments were conducted in a split-plot arrangement of treatments in a randomized complete block design with fall herbicides (with and without pendimethalin at 1.12 kg ai ha-1 and paraquatat 0.84 kg ai ha-1) as main plots and in-crop herbicides as subplots with four replications. The six in-crop herbicide programs were: glyphosate applied early postemergence (EPOsT) at 0.84 kg·aeha-1 followed by (fb) glyphosate late postemergence (LPOsT) at 0.84 kg·ha-1 with and without pyroxasulfone preemergence (PRE) applied at 0.18 kg ai ha-1, pyroxasulfone PRE fb glyphosate at 0.84 kg·ha-1 LPOsT or glyphosate at 0.84 kg·ha-1 + s-metolachlor at 1.68 kg ai ha-1 EPOsT, pyroxasulfone PRE fb s-meto- lachlor at 1.12 kg·ha-1 + fomesafen at 0.27 kg ai ha-1 EPOsT fb clethodim at 0.14 kg ai ha-1, and a no-herbicide control. Browntop millet, Digitaria spp., and junglerice densities at 2 weeks after LPOsT, grass weed dry biomass at harvest, and soybean yield were similar regardless of post- harvest herbicides in all three years. At 2 weeks after LPOsT, browntop millet, Digitaria spp. and junglerice densities were greatly reduced in all five in-crop herbicide treatments compared with no herbicide plot in all three years. Grass weed dry biomass in no-herbicide plots was 3346, 6136, and 6916 kg·ha-1 in 2011, 2012, and 2013, respectively and the five herbicide treatments reduced grass weed dry biomass by at least 87%, 84%, and 99% in 2011, 2012, and 2013, respectively. soybean yield was higher with all five in-crop herbicide treatments compared to no herbicide control in all three years. serratia marcescens has been recognized as an important cause of nosocomial and community-acquired infections. To our knowledge, we describe the first case of s. marcescens rhabdomyolysis, most probably related to acute cholecystitis and secondary bacteremia. The condition was successfully managed with levofloxacin. keeping in mind the relevant morbidity and mortality associated with bacterial rhabdomyolysis, physicians should consider this possibility in patients with suspected or proven bacterial disease. We suggest s. marcescens should be regarded as a new causative agent of infectious rhabdomyolysis.

security information has become so significant in transmission due to the rapid advancement in digital data exchange. Thus, it is necessary to protect the confidentiality and licensing of video content from illegal access. Currently, High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) provides the confidentiality and licensing of digital content for High Digital Multimedia Interface (HDMI). In this paper, we have been able to show how cryptanalysts have conducted attacks on the HDCP protocol showing its vulnerability in protecting digital contents. Therefore, the HDCP scheme is seriously flawed and compromised. Encryption and decryption of audio/video files were implemented in both Data Encryption standard (DEs) and Advanced Encryption standard (AEs) algorithms by means of Python Cryptography Toolkit (Pycrypto). security analysis such as key space analysis and statistical analysis were carried out on the encrypted image. The result of the analysis indicates that AEs algorithm is secure and robust;hence the authentication and licensing of HDMI can be improved by implementing HDCP design with AEs algorithm.

Using the sG-III prototype laser at China Academy of Engineering Physics,Mianyang,we irradiated polystyrene(CH)samples with a thermal radiation drive,reaching conditions on the principal Hugoniot up to P≈1 TPa(10 Mbar),and away from the Hugoniot up to P≈300 GPa(3 Mbar).The response of each sample was measured with a velocity interferometry diagnostic to determine the material and shock velocity,and hence the conditions reached,and the reflectivity of the sample,from which changes in the conductivity can be *** applying the selfimpedance mismatch technique with the measured velocities,the pressure and density of thermodynamic points away from the principal Hugoniot were *** results show an unexpectedly large reflectivity at the highest shock pressures,while the off-Hugoniot points agree with previous work suggesting that shock-compressed CH conductivity is primarily temperature-dependent.
