Regression analysis of squeezing-induced hybrid nanofluid flow in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(mhD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDsolve in mAThEmATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

The age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

New ternary superconducting compound LaRu2As2： Physical properties from density functional theory calculations

In this paper, we perform the density functional theory （DFT） -based calculations by the first-principles pseudopo- tential method to investigate the physical properties of the newly discovered superconductor LaRu2As2 for the first time. The optimized structural parameters are in good agreement with the experimental results. The calculated independent elas- tic constants ensure the mechanical stability of the compound. The calculated Cauchy pressure, Pugh＇s ratio as well as Poisson＇s ratio indicate that LaRu2As2 should behave as a ductile material. Due to low Debye temperature, LaRu2As2 may be used as a thermal barrier coating （TBC） material. The new compound should exhibit metallic nature as its valence bands overlap considerably with the conduction bands. LaRu2As2 is expected to be a soft material and easily machinable because of its low hardness value of 6.8 GPa. The multi-band nature is observed in the calculated Fermi surface. A highly anisotropic combination of ionic, covalent and metallic interactions is expected to be in accordance with charge density calculation.

Optical and electrical characterizations of nanoparticle Cu_2s thin films

Copper sulfide thin films are deposited onto different substrates at room temperature using the thermal evaporation technique. X-ray diffraction spectra show that the film has an orthorhombicchalcocite （7-Cu2s） phase. The atomic force microscopy images indicate that the film exhibits nanoparticles with an average size of nearly 44 nm. specrtophotometric measurements for the transmittance and reflectance are carried out at normal incidence in a spectral wavelength range of 450 nm-2500 nm. The refractive index, n, as well as the absorption index, k is calculated. some dispersion parameters are determined. The analyses of el and e2 reveal several absorption peaks. The analysis of the spectral behavior of the absorption coefficient, c~, in the absorption region reveals direct and indirect allowed transitions. The dark electrical resistivity is studied as a function of film thickness and temperature. Tellier＇s model is adopted for determining the mean free path and bulk resistance.

Protective effect of Irsogladine on monochloramineinduced gastric mucosallesions in rats:a comparative study with rebamipide

AIm To examine the effect of irsogladine, a novel antiulcer drug, on the mucosal ulcerogenic response to monochloramine (Nh 2Cl) in rat stomach, in comparison with rebamipide, another antiulcer drug with cytoprotective activity. mEThODs AND REsULTs Oral administration of Nh 2Cl (120*!mm) produced severe hemorrhagic lesions in unanesthetized rat stomachs. Both irsogladine ( 1*!mg/*!kg - 10*!mg/*!kg , po ) and rebamipide ( 30*!mg/*!kg - 100*!mg/*!kg , po ) dose dependently prevented the development of these lesions in response to Nh 2Cl, the effect of irsogladine was significant at 3*!mg/*!kg or greater, and that of rebamipide only at 100*!mg/*!kg . The protective effect of irsogladine on Nh 2Cl induced gastric lesions was significantly reduced by N G nitro L arginine methyl ester (L NAmE) but not by indomethacin, while that of rebamipide was significantly mitigated by indomethacin but not by L NAmE. Topical application of Nh 2Cl (20*!mm) caused a marked reduction of potential difference (PD) in ex vivo stomachs. This PD reduction was not affected by mucosal application of irsogladine, but significantly prevented by rebamipide. The mucosal exposure to Nh 4Oh (120*!mm) also caused a marked PD reduction in the ischemic stomach (bleeding from the carotid artery), resulting in gastric lesions. These ulcerogenic and PD responses caused by Nh 4Oh plus ischemia were also significantly mitigated by rebamipide, in an indomethacin sensitive manner, while irsogladine potently prevented such lesions without affecting the PD response, in a L NAmE sensitive manner. CONCLUsION These results suggest that ① Nh 2Cl generated either exogenously or endogenously damages the gastric mucosa, ② both irsogladine and rebamipide protect the stomach against injury caused by Nh 2Cl, and ③ the mechanism underlying the protective action of irsogladine is partly mediated by endogenous nitric oxide, while that of rebamipide is in part mediated by endogenous prostaglandins.

A uniform experimental design(UED)is an extremely used powerful and efficient methodology for designing experiments with high-dimensional inputs,limited resources and unknown underlying models.A UED enjoys the following two significant advantages:(i)It is a robust design,since it does not require to specify a model before experimenters conduct their experiments;and(ii)it provides uniformly scatter design points in the experimental domain,thus it gives a good representation of this domain with fewer experimental trials(runs).many real-life experiments involve hundreds or thousands of active factors and thus large UEDs are *** large UEDs using the existing techniques is an NP-hard problem,an extremely time-consuming heuristic search process and a satisfactory result is not *** paper presents a new effective and easy technique,adjusted Gray map technique(AGmT),for constructing(nearly)UEDs with large numbers of four-level factors and runs by converting designs with s two-level factors and n runs to(nearly)UEDs with 2^(t−1)s four-level factors and 2tn runs for any t≥0 using two simple transformation *** justifications for the uniformity of the resulting four-level designs are given,which provide some necessary and/or sufficient conditions for obtaining(nearly)uniform four-level *** results show that the AGmT is much easier and better than the existing widely used techniques and it can be effectively used to simply generate new recommended large(nearly)UEDs with four-level factors.

An ab initio investigation of vibrational, thermodynamic, and optical properties of sc_2AlC mAX compound

The structural vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties of potentially technologically important, weakly coupled mAX compound, sc2 Al C are calculated using density functional theory(DFT). The structural properties of scAlC are compared with the results reported earlier. The vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties are theoretically estimated for the first time. The phonon dispersion curve is calculated and the dynamical stability of this compound is investigated. The optical and acoustic modes are observed clearly. We calculate the helmholtz free energy(F), internal energy(E), entropy(s), and specific heat capacity(Cv) from the phonon density of states. Various optical parameters are also calculated. The reflectance spectrum shows that this compound has the potential to be used as an efficient solar reflector.
