Bio-inspired helicoidal composite laminates, inspired by the intricate helical structures found in nature, present a promising frontier for enhancing the mechanical properties of structural designs. Hence, this study provides a comprehensive investigation into the nonlinear free vibration and nonlinear bending behavior of bio-inspired composite plates. The inverse hyperbolic shear deformation theory(IHsDT) of plates is employed to characterize the displacement field, with the incorporation of Green-Lagrange nonlinearity. The problem is modeled using the C0finite element method(FEM), and an in-house code is developed in the MATLAB environment to solve it numerically. Various helicoidal layup configurations including helicoidal recursive(HR), helicoidal exponential(HE), helicoidal semi-circular(Hs), linear helicoidal(LH), and Fibonacci helicoidal(FH)with different layup sequences and quasi-isotropic configurations are studied. The model is validated, and parametric studies are conducted. These studies investigate the effects of layup configurations, side-to-thickness ratio, modulus ratios, boundary conditions, and loading conditions at different load amplitudes on the nonlinear vibration and nonlinear bending behaviors of bio-inspired composite plates. The results show that the laminate sequence exerts a substantial impact on both nonlinear natural frequencies and nonlinear bending behaviors. Moreover, this influence varies across different side-to-thickness ratios and boundary conditions of the bio-inspired composite plate.

Objectives:This study is aimed to investigate the outcome of one-stage ureteroscopy(URs)and percutaneous nephrolithot(PCNL)for simultaneous ureteral and renal stones over 10years at a tertiary urology *** and methods:We retrospectively analyzed the data of patients who were operated on for simultaneous ureteral and renal stones from January 2011 to December *** were divided into 2 groups:group A,who underwent one-stage URs and prone PCNL,and group B,who underwent staged *** overall success,complications,operative time,and hospital stays were compared between the 2 ***:Data for 190 patients were reviewed;mean age was 50±13 years old,and 146(77%)were *** one-stage(A)and staged(B)groups included 102 and 88 patients,*** A included older patients,with a high The American society of Anesthesiologists score,while group B included more patients with multiple or staghorn *** one-stage group recorded shorter operative time(120±12min vs.140±16min,p=0.02)and shorter hospital stays(3 days[2-6]vs.4 days[3-9],p=0.06).Otherwise,both groups had equal outcomes in terms of success rates and ***:PCNL and URs can be performed in one-session for simultaneous ureteral and renal stones,except for multiple renal and staghorn *** results are comparable to those of the staged procedure in terms of success rate and complications,with the advantage of a shorter operative time and hospital stay.

Quaternion algebra has been used to apply the fractional Fourier transform(FrFT)to color images in a comprehensive ***,the discrete fractional random transform(DFRNT)with adequate basic randomness remains to be *** paper presents a novel multistage privacy system for color medical images based on discrete quaternion fractional Fourier transform(DQFrFT)watermarking and three-dimensional chaotic logistic map(3D-CLM)***,we describe quaternion DFRNT(QDFRNT),which generalizes DFRNT to handle quaternion signals effectively,and then use QDFRNT to perform color medical image adaptive *** efficiently evaluate QDFRNT,this study derives the relationship between the QDFRNT of a quaternion signal and the four components of the DFRNT ***,it uses the human vision system's(HVs)masking qualities of edge,texture,and color tone immediately from the color host image to adaptively modify the watermark strength for each block in the color medical image using the QDFRNT-based adaptive watermarking and support vector machine(sVM)*** limitations of watermark embedding are also explained to conserve watermarking ***,3D-CLM encryption is employed to improve the system's security and efficiency,allowing it to be used as a multistage privacy *** proposed security system is effective against many types of channel noise attacks,according to simulation results.

Fatty acid esters have been prepared by reacting the acid C//1//8 with polyethylene glycols having varying numbers of oxyethylene units (4-88 units) by the direct esterification reaction method. surface and interfacial tensions were studied at various experimental conditions, including, concentration, temperature and chemical constitution of the surfactant. Critical micelle concentrations (CMC), surface excess and residual area occupied by each surface active agent molecule A have been calculated by using Gibb's equations. CMC values range from 10 to 55 multiplied by 10** minus **5 mole/L for all studied agents, while the residual area occupied by each molecule varies from 0.6 to 1.5 nm**2. Variation of CMC of some of these agents with temperature have been also examined and the obtained data were used to calculate the heat of micellization delta H//m and the entropy change during micellization delta s//m. Values of delta H//m vary from 14.63 kJ/mole to 2.717 kJ/mole depending on the chemical constitution of the agent under consideration.
