Intrumer:A Multi Module Distributed Explainable IDs/IPs for securing Cloud Environment

The increasing use of cloud-based devices has reached the critical point of cybersecurity and unwanted network *** environments pose significant challenges in maintaining privacy and *** approaches,such as IDs,have been developed to tackle these ***,most conventional Intrusion Detection system(IDs)models struggle with unseen cyberattacks and complex high-dimensional *** fact,this paper introduces the idea of a novel distributed explainable and heterogeneous transformer-based intrusion detection system,named INTRUMER,which offers balanced accuracy,reliability,and security in cloud settings bymultiplemodulesworking together within *** traffic captured from cloud devices is first passed to the TC&TM module in which the Falcon Optimization Algorithm optimizes the feature selection process,and Naie bayes algorithm performs the classification of *** selected features are classified further and are forwarded to the heterogeneous Attention Transformer(hAT)*** this module,the contextual interactions of the network traffic are taken into account to classify them as normal or malicious *** classified results are further analyzed by the Explainable Prevention Module(XPM)to ensure trustworthiness by providing interpretable *** the explanations fromthe classifier,emergency alarms are transmitted to nearby IDsmodules,servers,and underlying cloud devices for the enhancement of preventive *** experiments on benchmark IDs datasets CICIDs 2017,honeypots,and NsL-KDD were conducted to demonstrate the efficiency of the INTRUMER model in detecting network trafficwith high accuracy for different *** outperforms state-of-the-art approaches,obtaining better performance metrics:98.7%accuracy,97.5%precision,96.3%recall,and 97.8%*** results validate the robustness and effectiveness of INTRUMER in securing diverse cloud environments against sophisticated cyber threats.

Effect of Plastic Deformation on Magnetic Properties of Fe-40%Ni-2%Mn Austenitic Alloy

The effects of plastic deformation on the magnetic properties of austenite structure in an Fe-40% Ni-2 % Mn alloy is investigated by using Mossbauer spectroscopy and Differential scanning Calorimetry （DsC） techniques The morphology of the alloy has been obtained by using scanning Electron Microscopy （sEM）. The magnetic behaviour of austenite state is ferromagnetic. After plastic deformation, a mixed magnetic structure including both paramagnet- ic and ferromagnetic states has been obtained at the room temperature. The volume fraction changes, the effective hyperfine fields of the ferromagnetic austenite phase and isomery shift values have also been determined by Mossbauer spectroscopy. The Curie point （Tc） and the Neel temperature （TN） have been investigated by means of DsC system for non-deformed and deformed Fe-Ni-Mn alloy. The plastic deformation of the alloy reduces the TN and enhances the paramagnetic character of austenitic Fe-Ni-Mn alloy.

Free vibration and transient response of double curved beams connected by intermediate straight beams

This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANsys, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

The nanostructural evolution and phase transformation of the films of a Zn-Al based alloy (Zn68Al10Cu22 in wt pct) have been studied by using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Nanostructural thin films of the Zn-AI based alloy were produced by using an electron beam deposition technique. It was found that a nanocrystalline phase η'n had a strong preferred crystal orientation at (0002) crystal planes in the as-deposited films. During ageing at 220℃, the decomposition of nanophase η'n started with clustering to form Z-zones, and transitionai phase, which was accompanied by an eutectoid decomposition of the η'n phase: η'n β'eut T'. Decomposition, such as clustering and the formation of the Z-zones, and the transitionai phase etc. were observed in the nanophase β'eut. The formation and the decomposition of the transitionai phase of micrometers in size were involved in the decomposition of the main nanophase η'n. The mechanism of the Z-zones formation and the stability of nanophases were discussed.

Federated Learning’s Role in Next-Gen TV Ad Optimization

In the rapidly evolving landscape of television advertising,optimizing ad schedules to maximize viewer engagement and revenue has become *** methods often operate in silos,limiting the potential insights gained from broader data analysis due to concerns over privacy and data *** article introduces a novel approach that leverages Federated Learning(FL)to enhance TV ad schedule optimization,combining the strengths of local optimization techniques with the power of global Machine Learning(ML)models to uncover actionable insights without compromising data *** combines linear programming for initial ads scheduling optimization with ML—specifically,a K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)model—for predicting ad spot *** into account the diversity and the difficulty of the ad-scheduling problem,we propose a prescriptivepredictive approach in which first the position of the ads is optimized(using Google’s OR-Tools CP-sAT)and then the scheduled position of all ads will be the result of the optimization ***,this output becomes the target of a predictive task that predicts the position of new entries based on their characteristics ensuring the implementation of the scheduling at large scale(using KNN,Light Gradient boosting Machine and Random Forest).Furthermore,we explore the integration of FL to enhance predictive accuracy and strategic insight across different broadcasting networks while preserving data *** FL approach resulted in 8750 ads being precisely matched to their optimal category placements,showcasing an alignment with the intended diversity ***,there was a minimal deviation observed,with 1133 ads positioned within a one-category variance from their ideal placement in the original dataset.

high-energy ball milling(hEbM)combined with powder metallurgy route was used to fabricate carbon nanotube(CNT)reinforced 7055 Al *** powder morphology evolution processes(hEbM-1 and hEbM-2)were designed to investigate the dispersion and damage of CNTs during hEbM ***-1 evolution process involved powder fl attening,cold-welding and fracture,while hEbM-2 evolution process consisted of powder fl attening and *** hEbM-1,the repetitive fracture and cold-welding process was effective for dispersing ***,the powder fl attening process in hEbM-2 was unsuccessful in dispersing CNTs due to two reasons:(1)the thickness of fl aky Al powders exceeded the critical value,and(2)the clustered CNTs embedded in fl aky Al powders could not be *** of the broadening of D band and the appearance of a new defect-related D’band,product of I D/I G and full width half maximum of D band,rather than I D/I G,was used to evaluate the actual damage of *** indicates that the damage of CNTs was severe in powder fl attening and fracture stages,while the damage of CNTs was small in powder cold-welding stage.

Design Features and Commissioning of the Versatile Experiment spherical Torus (VEsT) at seoul National University

A new spherical torus called VEsT （Versatile Experiment spherical Torus） is designed, constructed and successfully commissioned at seoul National University. A unique design feature of the VEsT is two partial solenoid coils installed at both vertical ends of a center stack, which can provide sufficient magnetic fluxes to initiate tokamak plasmas while keeping a low aspect ratio configuration in the central region. According to initial double null merging start-up scenario using the partial solenoid coils, apprdpriate p6wer supplies for driving a toroidal field coil, outer poloidal field coils, and the partial solenoid Coils are fabricated and successfully commissioned. For reliable start-up, a pre-ionization system with two cost-effective homemade magnetron power supplies is also prepared. In addition, magnetic and spectroscopic diagnostics with appropriate data acquisition and control systems are well prepared for initial operation of the device. The VEsT is ready for tokamak plasma operation by completing and commissioning most of the designed components.
