A Decentralized and TCAM-Aware Failure Recovery Model in software Defined Data Center Networks

Link failure is a critical issue in large networks and must be effectively *** software-defined networks(sDN),link failure recovery schemes can be categorized into proactive and reactive *** schemes have longer recovery times while proactive schemes provide faster recovery but overwhelm the memory of switches by flow *** sDN adoption grows,ensuring efficient recovery from link failures in the data plane becomes *** particular,data center networks(DCNs)demand rapid recovery times and efficient resource utilization to meet carrier-grade *** paper proposes an efficient Decentralized Failure Recovery(DFR)model for sDNs,meeting recovery time requirements and optimizing switch memory resource *** DFR model enables switches to autonomously reroute traffic upon link failures without involving the controller,achieving fast recovery times while minimizing memory *** employs the Fast Failover Group in the OpenFlow standard for local recovery without requiring controller communication and utilizes the k-shortest path algorithm to proactively install backup paths,allowing immediate local recovery without controller intervention and enhancing overall network stability and *** employs flow entry aggregation techniques to reduce switch memory *** of matching flow entries to the destination host’s MAC address,DFR matches packets to the destination switch’s MAC *** reduces the switches’Ternary Content-Addressable Memory(TCAM)***,DFR modifies Address Resolution Protocol(ARP)replies to provide source hosts with the destination switch’s MAC address,facilitating flow entry aggregation without affecting normal network *** performance of DFR is evaluated through the network emulator Mininet 2.3.1 and Ryu 3.1 as sDN *** different number of active flows,number of hosts per edge switch,and different network sizes,the proposed model outperformed vario

Temporal dynamics of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy injuries on magnetic resonance imaging

Assessment of deterioration in RHA-concrete due to magnesium sulphate attack

The assessment of magnesium sulphate attack on concretes containing rice husk ash （RHA, 20wt% of the cementitious materials） with various average particle sizes was investigated. The total cementitious materials were 390 kg and the water-to-binder ratio （W/b） was 0.53 for all mixtures. specimens were initially cured in water for 7 d and then immersed in the 3wt% magnesium sulphate solution for up to 111 d of exposure. The specimens were subjected to drying-wetting cycles to accelerate sulphate attack. In addition to the visual monitoring of the specimens, the concrete specimens were subsequently tested for compressive strength, dynamic modulus of elasticity, and length and mass changes. The results show that the specimens exposed to sulphate attack exhibit higher strength and dynamic modulus than those kept in water. The length change is negligible and can be attributed to the normal swelling of concrete. On the other hand, concretes suffers mass loss and surface spalling and softening; the fine RHA-concrete results in a better resistance. For the accelerated sulphate attack method used in this study, mass change and visual monitoring are recommended for assessing the deterioration degree and the effectiveness of supplementary cementitious materials to resist sulphate attack.

Recently, a new noncommutative geometry inspired solution of the coupled Einstein Maxwell field equations including black holes in 4-dimension is found. In this paper, we generalize some aspects of this model to the Reissner Nordstrom （RN） like geometries with large extra dimensions. We discuss Hawking radiation process based on noncommutative inspired solutions. In this framework, existence of black hole remnant and possibility of its detection in LHC are investigated.

The corrosion inhibition efficiencies of four compounds namely N-[（1E）-（2-chloroquinolin-3-yl）methylene]-N-phenylamine（CQMA）,N-（1E）-（2-chloroquinolin-3-yl）methylene]-N-（4-fluorophenyl）amine（CQMFA）,N-（4-chloro phenyl）-N-[（1E）-（2-chloroquinolin-3-yl）methylene]amine（CQMCA）,and N-（4-bromo phenyl）-N-[（1E）-（2-chloroquinolin-3-yl）methylene]amine（CQMbA）on mild steel corrosion in hydrochloric acid media were investigated using mass loss,potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance *** all the studied inhibitors the inhibition efficiency values were found to increase with increasing concentration up to 5.00×10-4 mol·*** electron microscopic technique showed the formation of a thick film on the steel surface in the presence of inhibitors.

A multiscale material model for heterogeneous liquid droplets in solid soft composites

Liquid droplets in solid soft composites have been attracting increasing attention in biological *** contrary with conventional composites,which are made of solid elastic inclusions,available material models for composites including liquid droplets are for highly idealized configurations and do not include all material real *** are also all deterministic and do not address the uncertainties arising from droplet radius,volume fraction,dispersion and *** research revisits the available models for liquid droplets in solid soft composites and presents a multiscale computational material model to determine their elastic moduli,considering nearly all relevant uncertainties and heterogeneities at different length *** effects of surface tension at droplets interface,their volume fraction,size,size polydispersity and agglomeration on elastic modulus,are *** micromechanical material models are incorporated into the presented computational *** results clearly indicate both softening and stiffening effects of liquid droplets and show that the model can precisely predict the effective properties of liquid droplets in solid soft composites.
