Origin of clay minerals on section of Luochuan loesspalaeosol in shaanxi Province,northwest China

Crystallinity,polytype,and morphology of clay minerals in the Luochuan loess-palaeosols in shaanxi Province,northwest China were studied in order to have an insight into their origin using X-ray diffraction(XrD)analysis and scanning electron microscopy(sEM)*** sEM observations showed that the morphology of some illites seems to be lath-shaped *** analysis of illite crystallinity(IC)on the Luochuan section indicated that the origin of illite was related to the rocks of an *** illite in the Luochuan loess-palaeosol section were of 2M1 polytype,but some were of 1M polytype formed by weathering of feldspar in the process of *** in the Luochuan section has undergone both physical and chemical *** results revealed that most illite were of detrital origin related to the source area of an anchizone,but parts of the illite were of an authigenic origin formed during pedogenesis after *** in the samples of the Luochuan section were mainly composed of irregular flaky grains and their crystallinity was *** showed that chlorite had the detrital origin formed by physical *** crystallinity was relatively *** value of CIA on the Luochuan section ranges from 61.9 to 69,and therefore kaolinite could not be formed during weathering and *** results indicated that the kaolinite had a detrital *** of smectite seems to be *** XrD patterns of all samples contained diffraction peaks at 1.5218Å(nontronite)and 1.5052Å(montmorillonite),thus indicating an intermediate composition between trioctahedral and dioctahedral *** smectite crystallinity was very *** results revealed that smectite in the study area was authigenic rather than detrital origin.

Conflict Between Mother-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law Depicted in a Television show and Its sub-cultural Implications： A Discourse Analysis on Welcome to The Mother-in-Law, a TV Talk show in Korea

This study was purposed to investigate conflicts between generations in mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in Korean society. In-law conflict has been existed in each family all over the world but it is only matter of seriousness. Mother-in-law tensions particularly brought day-to-day problems with daughter-in-law. A Korean talk show titled as Welcome to the Mother-in-Law dealt with this everyday controversy between them. The authors concerned and selected it as a main research object for analysis as it appeared to represent many Korean traditional characteristics. The common characteristics in Korea culture was traditional hierarchy in the family structure. Unease feelings amongst family members often prevailed owing to the conflicting nature of the hierarchical relationship between them. Many episodes of this talk show were analyzed through integrated model consisting of semiotic methods including： categorization, discourse analysis, myth analysis, and ideology derived. As some result, this study revealed an implicit ideology centered on the opposition thought processes. Patriarchal and filial duty ideology was dominantly located in the mother-in-law＇s thought. Meanwhile, gender equality and rationalism ideology was dominantly located in the daughter-in-law＇s thought. Difference in values, resulting from opposed ideologies, could also explain why intergenerational disputes and conflicts occurs. It could be inferred that there was a potential possibility for further conflicts around the issues of traditional patriarchal practices and gender inequality as well as different attitudes held by different generations in a family. In short, even though this talk show could not provide some suggestions to resolve such conflicts between them, it could be worthwhile to uncover serious problems between them.

safety Indications of Navigation Audit for Tankers to Develop a Bridge Inspection Method

A significant amount of world trade has been carried out by maritime transportation. In 2016, world maritime trade volume increased by 2% and reached 10.3 billion tons, 55,057 global ton-miles. There has been a significant increase in quantity and tonnage of tankers, with the requirement for well qualified and experienced personnel in the maritime industry. Therefore, employment has become a serious problem. Major Oil Companies (MOCs), port states, classification societies, and flag states have increased the number of inspections on tankers due to safety concerns. Tanker inspections are becoming more difficult and inefficient due to intensive cargo operations. Inefficient, subjective or substandard inspections/evaluations are usually leading to incorrect decisions, and causing an unfair market. In addition, corrective actions cannot be carried out properly, and decision making authorities cannot give the best decisions about vessels and their operator companies due to lack of scientific methods. In this study, details are identified such as finding the root causes, identifying the risks, understanding the possible consequences, and determining the working areas during the ship crews’, operators’, auditors’ and charterers’ working and ship selection periods. Pairwise comparisons were carried out by means of surveys on ship masters (captains), chief officers, deck officers, and superintendents. Five criteria—Crew, Equipment, Company, structure, and IsM (International safety Management) were weighted using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, Bridge safety support system (Bsss) was developed according to criteria weights. In this way, best choices can be offered to ship charterers about which ship is better for a company’s interests. And, carrying out bridge inspections and corrective actions will be more reliable and effective for maritime transportation. statistical data and vessel improvements will be obtained in Bsss. 在本研究中 ,我们使用中枢性胆碱酯酶抑制剂艾斯能 ,即瑞瓦斯的明 (酒石酸盐 rivastigmine,rsM) ,治疗合并和不合并血管危险因素 (VrF)的轻到中度阿尔茨海默病 (AD)患者 ,评估其有效性和安全性。患者 (4 5～ 90岁 )被随机分为安慰剂组 (n=2 3 5)、低剂量 rsM组 (1～ 4 mg/d,n=2 3 3 )和高剂量 rsM组 (6～ 1 2 mg/d,n=2 3 1 ) ,并治疗 2 6周。有效性检测指标包括阿尔茨海默病评分量表 -认知功能亚量表 (ADAs-Cog)、以临床医生面访为基础的印象变化 (CIBIC-Plus)、进行性恶化量表 (PDs)、全面衰退量表 (GDs)以及简明智能状态量表(MMsE)。在进行有效性和安全性分析时 ,根据基线时改良的 Hachinski缺血量表评分 ,患者的 VrF被分为 2类 ,即 MHIs>0 :存在 VrF;MHIs=0 :不存在 VrF。在治疗 1 2周时 ,高剂量 rsM组与基线时相比 ADAs-Cog得分的平均变化 ,与安慰剂组相比差异有显著性 ,且这种差异在两类 MHIs中均存在。但是 ,每个时点时 ,高剂量rsM组与安慰剂组之间的差异 ,MHIs>0者更大。在每个改善水平 ,高剂量 rsM组所占的比例显著较高。在安全性评估时 ,各治疗组之间没有差异。rsM对各类患者均有效 ,有 VrF者 ,临床疗效更明显 (认知、日常生活能力、疾病严重程度 )

The persistent concern about the long-term trends of fewer male teachers has been often attracted in international education reports such as（OECD,2005;UNEsCO,2011）.In particular,a shortage of men in the primary teaching workforce has also been raised in many countries such as United Kingdom,Germany,and Australia to study the relationship between gender and the teaching profession（Davis ＆ Hay,2018;Mc Dowell ＆ Klattenberg,2019）.Many studies on the lack of men and the consequences of this phenomenon in elementary education have prompted a lot of countries to have a longstanding aim to recruit more male primary school *** this study,I track the declining trend of the male to female teacher ratio in primary schools of China over the past three decades and study how they happened from the economic *** a rigorous four-part analysis,I examine and contextualize how the labor market conditions such as earnings affect the male’s participation in the primary teaching workforce in ***,in Part 1,employing the linear regression model for the male to female primary school teacher ratio with the year as the only independent variable by region,I illustrate that percentages of this ratio decrease annually by 2.9% across the *** annual decreasing rate varies slightly from region to region,with the highest value being3.7% in the western region and the lowest value being 2.5% in the eastern ***,in Part 2,having established the decline of the male to female primary school teacher ratio in China over the past three decades,I estimate a Mincer earnings function to examine gaps in mean earning levels between primary-teaching and non-primary-teaching sectors grouped by gender.I find that by using log points,primary school teachers’ mean earning is 21.4%,13.5%,35.1%,and 18.6% lower than male workers in the non-primary-teaching sector in2012,2013,2015,and 2017,while they are annually paid about 18.7% and 16.5% higher than the female non-prim

Comparison of the rheological properties of four root canal sealers

The flowability of a root canal sealer is clinically important because it improves the penetration of the sealer into the complex root canal system. The purpose of this study was to compare the flowabilities of four root canal sealers, measured using the simple press method （IsO 6876）, and their viscosities, measured using a strain-controlled rheometer. A newly developed, calcium phosphate-based root canal sealer （Capseal） and three commercial root canal sealers （AH Plus, sealapex and Pulp Canal sealer EWT） were used in this study. The flowabilities of the four root canal sealers were measured using the simple press method （n= 5） and their viscosities were measured using a strain-controlled rheometer （n=5）. The correlation between these two values was statistically analysed using spearman＇s correlation test. The flow diameters and the viscosities of the root canal sealers were strongly negatively correlated （p= -0.8618）. The viscosity of Pulp Canal sealer EWT was the lowest and increased in the following order： AH Plus〈sealapex〈Capseal （P〈0.05）. All of the tested root canal sealers showed characteristic time- and temperature-dependent changes in their rheological properties. The viscosities measured using the strain-controlled rheometer were more precise than the flowabilities measured using the simple press method, suggesting that the rheometer can accurately measure the rheological properties of root canal sealers.

Climate change and food security are among the pressing challenges facing humanity in the 21span>sup>stsup> century. Soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks, total nitrogen (TN), texture, and bulk density (BD) are important soil properties, which control climate change. Three land use systems (smallholder span>farmlands, grazing lands, and forest lands) that coexist in the Bamenda Highlands (BH) influence ecosystem services and induce soil degradation with the loss of SOC. The objective of this study was to evaluate the variation of SOC and some soil physicochemical properties as affected by the three land use systems (LUS). A total of 21 composite soil samples collected from 7 microclimatic zones of BH following “S” shape plots to the depth of 0 - 30 cm, were analysed for moisture content (MC), SOC, TN, BD, available phosphorus (Av.P), pH and texture. The results revealed that grazing land had the lowest mean sand content (40.79 ± 4.07).
