The efficient, green, facile, mild and straightforward conversion procedure for the oxidation of cyclic ketones to lactones at room temperature utilizing potassium peroxydisulfate （K2s2O8） in acidic media is satisfactory to high yields without using traditional chlorinated solvents is reported. This oxidative reagent is cheap and friendly environmental procedure for industrial purposes than use of organic peracids.

Today,self-healing graphene-and MXene-based composites have attracted researchers due to the increase in durability as well as the cost reduction in long-time *** studies have focused on designing novel self-healing graphene-and MXenebased composites with enhanced sensitivity,stretchability,and flexibility as well as improved electrical conductivity,healing efficacy,mechanical properties,and energy conversion *** composites with self-healing properties can be employed in the field of wearable sensors,supercapacitors,anticorrosive coatings,electromagnetic interference shielding,electronic-skin,soft robotics,***,it appears that more explorations are still needed to achieve composites with excellent arbitrary shape adaptability,suitable adhesiveness,ideal durability,high stretchability,immediate self-healing responsibility,and outstanding electromagnetic ***,optimizing reaction/synthesis conditions and finding suitable strategies for functionalization/modification are crucial aspects that should be comprehensively *** and graphene exhibited superior electrochemical properties with abundant surface terminations and great surface area,which are important to evolve biomedical and sensing ***,flexibility and stretchability are important criteria that need to be improved for their future ***,the most recent advancements pertaining to the applications and properties of self-healing graphene-and MXene-based composites are deliberated,focusing on crucial challenges and future perspectives.

A standard TPs measurement gives the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of an isotropic material which in turn gives the heat capacity. The thermal properties of an anisotropic material can be measured if the heat capacity is known. A method for heat capacity measurement exists, where the TPs sensor is attached to a sample container which is surrounded by insulation. However, it＇s based on an assumption of negligible heat losses which leads to uncertainties in the results. From that position, this work aims to model the heat losses from the specific heat measurements with TPs. A new set-up is introduced, where the sensor with the container hangs freely in a steel tube to get more predictable heat losses. The results show that the measurements can be modelled as a network of lumps connected by conductances approximated as constant. Thereby, the conductances out from the system can be solved from a reference measurement and used as input for a model of a measurement with a sample. The model seems to underestimate the heat capacity, which might be a consequence of temperature dependent effects on the conductances from convection. The tube in the set-up could be evacuated to minimize those losses.

The energy use in buildings has to be decreased to reach the targets and regulations in the European Union. One way of reducing the energy demand is to use vacuum insulation panels （VIP） in the buitding envelope. To make sure the declared thermal properties of the VlP are valid for the mounted panels, in situ measurements are needed. The transient plane source （TPs） method allows fast measurement of the thermal properties of a variety of materials. However, the large anisotropy of the VIP makes it hard to interpret the temperature increase in the TPs sensor. This paper presents a comparison between an analytical solution, numerical simulations and TPs measurements of polystyrene and polystyrene with aluminum film. Polystyrene and aluminum were used instead of VIP to increase the number of setups. The numerical simulation model was validated by comparing the simulated temperature increase with an analytical solution for the polystyrene sample. The simulated temperature increase in the polystyrene sample after 40 s was 7.8% higher than the TPs measurements. For the case with polystyrene with aluminum film, the deviation was 5.7%. Losses in the wires of the TPs sensor, uncertainties regarding the material parameters and surface resistances could explain the deviations.

脑脊液(CsF)是中枢神经系统中的一种无色透明液体,对中枢神经起到保护与支持作用,主要由人体大脑半球中侧脑室的脉络丛组织产生,少部分在第三及第四脑室产生,并由大脑顶端矢状实旁的蛛网膜颗粒细胞吸收,由此回流入静脉血液中。脑脊液每日分泌量相对恒定,为400~500 ml。当脑脊液吸收障碍时,将导致中枢神经系统中脑脊液总量的增加,临床上称之为脑积水。目前针对脑积水的手术治疗主要以脑室腹腔分流术(V-P分流)及第三脑室底造接术等为代表术式,在大多数情况下,选择的治疗方法为脑室腹腔分流术。该术式的主要并发症包括频内感染、分流过度、硬膜下血肿、诱发癫病及管路堵塞等。
