Prediction of power output plays a vital role in the installation and operation of photovoltaic *** this paper,two photovoltaic module technologies,amorphous silicon and copper indium gallium selenide installed outdoors on the rooftop of the University of Dodoma,located at 6.5738°s and 36.2631°E in Tanzania,were used to record the power output during the winter *** average data of ambient temperature,module temperature,solar irradiance,relative humidity,and wind speed recorded is used to predict the power output using a non-linear autoregress.v. artificial neural *** consider the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization,Bayesian regularization,resilient propagation,and scaled conjugate gradient algorithms to understand their abilities in training,testing and validating the data.A comparison with reference to the performance indices:coefficient of determination,root mean square error,mean absolute percentage error,and mean absolute bias error is drawn for both *** to the findings of our investigation,the predicted results are in good agreement with the experimental *** the algorithms performed better,and the predicted power out of both modules using the Bayesian regularization algorithm is observed to exhibit good processing capabilities compared to the other three algorithms that are evident from the measured performance indices.

Magnesium alloy(AZ91D)composites reinforced with silicon carbide particle with different volume percentage were fabricated by two step stir casting *** effect of changes in particle size and volume fraction of siC particles on physical and mechanical properties of composites were evaluated under as cast and heat treated(T6)*** experimental results were compared with the standard theoretical *** results reveal that the mechanical properties of composites increased with increasing siC particles and decrease with increasing particle *** of particles and fractured surface were studied through sEM and the presence of elements is revealed by EDs study.

The 4D scanning transmission electron microscopy(sTEM)method maps the structure and functionality of solids on the atomic scale,yielding information-rich data sets describing the interatomic electric and magnetic fields,structural and electronic order parameters,and other symmetry breaking distortions.A critical bottleneck is the dearth of analytical tools that can reduce complex 4D-sTEM data to physically relevant *** propose an approach for the systematic exploration of 4D-sTEM data using rotationally invariant variational autoencoders(rrvAE),which disentangle the general rotation of the object from other latent *** implementation of purely rotational rrvAE is discussed as are applications to simulated data for graphene and zincblende *** rrvAE analysis of experimental 4D-sTEM data of defects in graphene is illustrated and compared to the classical center-of-mass *** approach is universal for probing symmetry-breaking phenomena in complex systems and can be implemented for a broad range of diffraction methods.

Friction stir lap welds were produced in 3 mm thick Alclad sheets of Al alloy 2014-T4 using two different tools （with triangular and threaded taper cylindrical pins）. The effects of tool geometry on weld microstructure, lap-shear performance and failure mode were investigated. The pin profile was found to significantly influence the hook geometry, which in turn strongly influenced the joint strength and the failure mode. Welds produced in alloy 2014-T4 Alclad sheets by using triangular and threaded taper cylindrical tools exhibited an average lap-shear failure load of 16.5 and 19.5 kN, respectively, while the average failure load for standard riveted joints was only 3.4 kN. Welds produced in alloy 2014-T6 Alclad sheets and in alloy 2014-T4 bare sheets （i.e., no Alclad） were comparatively evaluated with those produced in alloy 2014-T4 Alclad sheets. While the welds made （with threaded taper cylindrical tool） in T6 and T4 conditions showed very similar lap-shear failure loads, the joint efficiency of the welds made in T6 condition （43%） was considerably lower （because of the higher base material strength） than those made in T4 condition （51%）. The Alclad layers were found to present no special problems in friction stir lap welding. Welds made with triangular tool in alloy 2014-T4 Alclad and bare sheets showed very similar lap-shear failure loads. The present work provides some useful insights into the use of friction stir welding for joining Al alloys in lap configuration.

We report the development and experimental implementation of the automated experiment workflows for the identification of thebest predictive channel for a phenomenon of interest in spectroscopic measurements. The approach is based on the combinationof ensembled deep kernel learning for probabilistic predictions and a basic reinforcement learning policy for channel selection. Itallows the identification of which of the available observational channels, sampled sequentially, are most predictive of selectedbehaviors, and hence have the strongest correlations. We implement this approach for multimodal imaging in piezoresponse forcemicroscopy (PFM), with the behaviors of interest manifesting in piezoresponse spectroscopy. We illustrate the best predictivechannel for polarization-voltage hysteresis loop and frequency-voltage hysteresis loop areas is amplitude in the model samples. Thesame workflow and code are applicable for any multimodal imaging and local characterization methods.

Objective:To assess the in-vitro antihacterial activity and anti-inflammatory activity of orally administered different extracts(Hydro-alcoholic,methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane)of Rauvolfia tetraphylla(***)root bark in Carrageetiaii induced acute inflammation in ***:In-vitro antibacterial activity was evaluated for extracts against four Gram positive and four Gram negative bacteria by using cylinder plate ***-alcoholic extract(70%v/v ethanol)at 200,400 and 800 mg/kg doses and methanolic,ethyl acetate and hexane extracts at doses 100,200 and 400 mg/kg were tested for anti-inflammatory activity in Carrageenan induced rat paw oedema model and paw thickness was measured every one hour up to 6 ***:All extracts of *** root bark showed good zone of inhibition against tested bacterial *** Carrageenan induced inflammation model,hydro-alcoholic and methanolic extract of *** root bark at three different doses produced significant(Pvehicle treated control group and hexane,ethyl acetate ***:In the present study extracts of *** root bark shows good in-vitro antibacterial activity and in-vivo anti-inflammatory activity in rats.

India, with a coastline of over 7,500 km, is known to have engaged in maritime trade from the second half of the first millennium BC. Geophysical surveys conducted off the coast of Bombay, Laccadives, Tranquebar, Kutch, Cambay, Kaveripattinam and visakapatnam have recorded shipwrecks, submerged cities, ports and channels. It is highly probable that the shelf off the Andhra, Kerala, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu coasts, if properly surveyed, will yield not only vestiges of prehistoric man and his tools but also submerged river channels and ports. A preliminary survey of the Gulf of Cambay with side-scan sonar soundings and a sub-bottom profiler revealed unnatural features. Further exploration through dredging brought to light artefacts that bore testimony to human activity.

In this paper, we have applied the Lie algebraic model to nano-bio molecules to determine the vibrational spectra of different stretching and bending vibrational modes. The determined vibrational energy levels by the Lie algebraic model are compared with the experimental data. The results from the theoretical mode[ are consistent with the experimental data. The vibrational energy levels are clustering in the excited states.

In this paper,a multistring-multilevel inverter(M-MLI)for renewable-energy-source applications has been proposed with reduced switch count and harmonics along with single-switch fault analysis for various *** requires only‘m+1’power switches for‘m’voltage *** proposed work achieves the fine-tuning of switching angles using a metaheuristic technique,*** teaching-learning-based optimization algorithm(TLBOA),to mitigate the total harmonic distortion(THD)of the ***,the proposed TLBOA has been compared with conventional modulation techniques such as equal phase(EP),half-equal phase(HEP),near-level control(NLC)and Newton-Raphson(NR)to verify the effectiveness of TLBOA for various.v.ltage levels in terms of%voltage-THD(%v-THD),computational time and *** fine-tuning the switching angles,the%v-THD is improved significantly when compared with EP,HEP,NLC and NR modulation *** an 11-level single-phase M-MLI,the%v-THD using TLBOA at 0.91 modulation index(MI)is 5.051%.The lower-order harmonics,i.e.5,7,11 and 13,are eliminated to improve the power ***,MLIs are often prone to failure,resulting in waveform *** extreme reduction in power quality impacts the load and significant damage is *** location of the open-circuit fault to be identified becomes more tedious under the faulty conditions with increased switch counts and voltage levels since the mathematical modelling fails to address the scenario in less computational ***,the machine-learning approach,*** vector machine(svM)with Bayesian optimization,has been discussed to locate the faulty ***,the proposed M-MLI configuration has been modelled,simulated and validated using MATLAB®and simulink®.The results of the M-MLI configuration have been verified for 7,9 and 11 levels using TLBOA along with fault analysis using the svM approach.

The dominant geodynamic processes that underpin the formation and evolution of Earth’s early crust remain enigmatic calling for new information from less studied ancient cratonic ***,we present U-Pb ages and Hf isotopic compositions of detrital zircon grains from^2.9 Ga old quartzites and magmatic zircon from a 3.505 Ga old dacite from the Iron Ore Group of the singhbhum craton,eastern *** detrital zircon grains range in age between 3.95 Ga and 2.91 *** with the recently reported Hadean,Eoarchean xenocrystic(up to 4.24 Ga)and modem detritus zircon grains from the singhbhum craton,our results suggest that the Eoarchean detrital zircons represent crust generated by recycling of Hadean felsic crust formed at^4.3-4.2 Ga and^3.95 *** observe a prominent shift in Hf isotope compositions at^3.6-3.5 Ga towards super-chondritic values,which signify an increased role for depleted mantle and the relevance of plate *** Paleo-,Mesoarchean zircon Hf isotopic record in the craton indicates crust generation involving the role of both depleted and enriched mantle *** infer a short-lived suprasubduction setting around^3.6-3.5 Ga followed by mantle plume activity during the Paleo-,Mesoarchean crust formation in the singhbhum *** singhbhum craton provides an additional repository for Earth’s oldest materials.
