海岸带是动态地区,由于众多因素,包括海平面的上升、波浪与洋流的类型、飓风乃至人类的影响,海岸地区经常受到变动。2004年12月26日巨大海啸席卷了堪雅库玛里至奥瓦利之间的海岸。当海浪冲上海滩时波高达30英尺。许多人因为巨浪的冲击和退浪的强力推拉而淹死在海里,许多村庄被毁。死亡总数超过300人,而且财产损失严重。海啸的规模与洋底移动的面积、移动距离是有关系的。该区显示为海成阶地、沙丘、滩脊、河口、洪积平原、海滩、红树林、准平原、高地、海蚀崖等等。我们试图通过现场在线勘查、政府记录以及采用遥感技术所做的海岸地貌研究等资料,通过海滩剖面测量和海岸环境的变化,进行海岸线动力学研究。文中也对主要的破坏予以认定。

Doped lanthanum manganites La_(1-x)Ca_(x)MnO_(3) with five different concentrations of Ca(x=0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 and 0.5) were synthesized by high-temperature solidstate reaction method and *** prepared samples were experimentally analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive spectroscopy(sEM/EDs) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VsM)*** structure is confirmed for this compound from powder X-ray diffraction *** XRD data confirm the shrinkage in the unit cell of synthesized samples for increasing calcium *** UV-Visible analysis for the estimation of optical band gap(E_(g)) reveals that the band gap decreases with the incorporation of *** synthesized samples were investigated for charge density distribution using maximum entropy method,utilizing the XRD data *** the charge density analysis,it is found that the bond lengths for La-O and Mn-O bonds decrease with the addition of *** ionic nature between La and O atoms and covalent nature between Mn and O atoms are enhanced for 40% of *** 50% of Ca-doped sample,ionic nature between La and O atoms and covalent nature between Mn and O atoms *** the prepared samples exhibit ferromagnetism at 20 K and paramagnetism at 300 K.

For a long time,legal entities have developed and used crime prediction *** techniques are frequently updated based on crime evaluations and responses from scientific *** is a need to develop type-based crime prediction methodologies that can be used to address issues at the subgroup *** maltreatment is not adequately addressed because children are *** a result,the possibility of developing a model for predicting child abuse was investigated in this *** exploratory analysis methods were used to examine the city of Chicago’s child abuse *** data set was balanced using the Borderline-sMOTE technique,and then a stacking classifier was employed to ensemble multiple algorithms to predict various types of child *** proposed approach successfully predicted crime types with 93%of accuracy,precision,recall,and *** AUC value of the same was ***,when compared to the Extra Trees model(17.55),which is the second best,the proposed model’s execution time was significantly longer(476.63).We discovered that Machine Learning methods effectively evaluate the demographic and spatial-temporal characteristics of the crimes and predict the occurrences of various subtypes of child *** results indicated that the proposed Borderline-sMOTE enabled stacking Classifier model(Bs-sC Model)would be effective in the real-time child abuse prediction and prevention process.

The brain of humans and other organisms is affected in various ways through the electromagneticﬁeld(EMF)radiations generated by mobile phones and cell phone *** variations in the brain are caused by the neurological changes due to the revelation of *** level analysis is used to measure and detect the effect of mobile radiations,but its utilization seems very expensive,and it is a tedious process,where its analysis requires the preparation of cell *** this regard,this research article proposes optimal broadcast-ing learning to detect changes in brain morphology due to the revelation of ***,Drosophila melanogaster acts as a specimen under the revelation of *** segmentation is performed for the brain to attain the microscopic images from the prejudicial geometrical characteristics that are removed to detect the effect of revelation of *** geometrical characteristics of the brain image of that is microscopic segmented are *** results reveal the occur-rence of several prejudicial characteristics that can be processed by machine learn-ing *** important prejudicial characteristics are given to four varieties of classiﬁers such as naïve Bayes,artiﬁcial neural network,support vector machine,and unsystematic forest for the classiﬁcation of open or nonopen micro-scopic image of *** *** results are attained through various experimental evaluations,and the said classiﬁers perform well by achieving 96.44%using the prejudicial characteristics chosen by the feature selection *** proposed system is an optimal approach that automatically identiﬁes the effect of revelation of EMF with minimal time complexity,where the machine learning techniques produce an effective framework for image processing.

Waste production rises in tandem with population growth and increased *** indecorous disposal of waste paves the way for huge disaster named as climate *** National Environment Agency(NEA)of singapore oversees the sustainable management of waste across the *** three main contributors to the solid waste of singapore are paper and cardboard(P&C),plastic,and food ***,they have a negligible rate of *** this study,Machine Learning techniques were utilized to forecast the amount of garbage also known as waste *** waste audit would aid the authorities to plan their waste *** applied models were k-nearest neighbors,support Vector Regressor,ExtraTrees,CatBoost,and *** XGBoost model with its default parameters performed better with a lower Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE)of 8.3093(P&C waste),8.3217(plastic waste),and 6.9495(food waste).However,Grid search Optimization(GsO)was used to enhance the parameters of the XGBoost model,increasing its ***,the optimized XGBoost algorithm performs the best for P&C,plastics,and food waste with MAPE of 4.9349,6.7967,and 5.9626,*** proposed GsO-XGBoost model yields better results than the other employed models in predicting municipal solid waste.

smart technologies when used in the tradi- tional grid infrastructure will provide a different environ- ment and working conditions in the grid by bringing the required smartness into the grid, called the smart grid. The smart grid can play a major role in the upcoming days to come because there is a necessity to integrate coordinated renewable energy resources into the grid and to operate the grids at a higher efficiency considering many aspects including reliability of the supply. Apart from this, there is a necessity to manage the demand supply gap in the smart grid by optimally scheduling the generators or by effectively scheduling the demand side resources instead of going for the traditional methods like partial or full load shedding. This paper presents an overview on the present state-of-the-art of smart grid technologies and broadly classifies the papers referred into two major areas, papers based on improvement of operational efficiency in smart grids and papers based on smartness in maintaining the demand supply gap. some of the papers projected in this work also give a brief overview of the necessity of the smart grid.

Ferroelectric lead-free BaTi_(1-x)Zr_(x)O_(3)ceramic powder samples with various compositions(x=0,0.04,0.06)have been synthesized by conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method at 1450℃for 10 *** of Zr doping on the inter-atomic bonding and charge density distributions inside the lattice structure of BaTiO_(3)were analyzed through powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)and maximum entropy *** parameter and cell volume values are found to be increasing with the incorporation of Zr *** average grain sizes are found to be in the range of 23-28 *** entropy mapping of electron density analysis reveals the reduction in ionic nature along Ba-O bond and the enhancement of covalent nature along Ti-O *** band gap values were determined from ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)*** morphology and microstructures of the samples were analyzed from scanning electron microscopy(sEM)*** with irregular sizes were observed in all the prepared *** of the samples was further confirmed by energydispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDAX).

Objective:To investigate the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of ethanol extract of Passiflora foetida(***) ***:Ethanol extract of *** leaf was evaluated for analgesic action by acetic acid-induced writhing and hot plate method in albino *** anti-inflammatory property of ethanolic leaf extract was tested by carrageenan induced acute paw edema and histamine induced acute paw edema in ***:The dose 200 mg/kg of P. foetida leaf extract exhibited highest significant analgesic activity[(13.50±0.43) min]at a reaction time of 20 min in hot plate method in *** ethanol extract of leaf dose 100 mg/kg produced a highly significant anti inflammatory effect[(1.302±0.079) mL]in ***:It is very clear that *** also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities for the pharmaceuticals.
