In a wide variety of mechanical and industrial applications,e.g.,space cooling,nuclear reactor cooling,medicinal utilizations(magnetic drug targeting),energy generation,and heat conduction in tissues,the heat transfer phenomenon is ***’s law of heat conduction has been used as the foundation for predicting the heat transfer behavior in a variety of real-world *** model’s production of a parabolic energy expression,which means that an initial disturbance would immediately affect the system under investigation,is one of its main ***,numerous researchers worked on such problem to resolve this *** last,this problem was resolved by Cattaneo by adding relaxation time for heat flux in Fourier’s law,which was defined as the time required to establish steady heat conduction once a temperature gradient is *** offered a material invariant version of Cattaneo’s model by taking into account the upper-connected derivative of the Oldroyd ***,both models are combinedly known as the Cattaneo-Christov(CC)*** this attempt,the mixed convective MHD Falkner-skan sutterby nanofluid flow is addressed towards a wedge surface in the presence of the variable external magnetic *** CC model is incorporated instead of Fourier’s law for the examination of heat transfer features in the energy expression.A two-phase nanofluid model is utilized for the implementation of *** nonlinear system of equations is tackled through the bvp4c technique in the MATLAB software *** influence of pertinent flow parameters is discussed and displayed through different *** and important results are summarized in the conclusion ***,in both cases of wall-through flow(i.e.,suction and injection effects),the porosity parameters increase the flow speed,and decrease the heat transport and the influence of drag forces.

Microalgal-based feed:promising alternative feedstocks for livestock and poultry production

There is an immediate need to identify alternative sources of high-nutrient feedstocks for domestic livestock productionand poultry,not only to support growing food demands but also to produce microalgae-source functional foods withmultiple health *** species of microalgae and cyanobacteria are used to supplement existing *** review,microalgae have been defined as a potential feedstock for domestic animals due to their abundance ofproteins,carbohydrates,lipids,minerals,vitamins,and other high-value ***,the positive physiologicaleffects on products of animals fed with microalgal biomass have been compiled and recommendations are listed toenhance the assimilation of biomolecules in ruminant and nonruminant animals,which possess differing ***,the role of microalgae as prebiotics is also *** regards to large scale cultivation ofmicroalgae for use as feed,many economic trade-offs must be considered such as the selection of strains with desirednutritional properties,cultivation systems,and steps for downstream *** factors are highlighted withfurther investigations needed to reduce the overall costs of ***,this review outlines the pros and cons ofutilizing microalgae as a supplementary feedstock for poultry and cattle,existing cultivation strategies,and theeconomics of large-scale microalgal production.

stabilizing First-Order Controllers for TCP/AQM Networks

In this paper, the authors investigate the overload problem of a congested router in TCP （Transmission Control Protocol） networks, with a design of an AQM （Active Queue Management） controller based on control theory. The model of TCP/AQM is converted into a second-order system with time delay, the stability of the closed-loop AQM system is described in terms of a characteristic quasi-polynomial. The authors focus on the synthesis of first-order AQM controller. The authors＇ approach consists of determining the stabilizing regions in the parameter space of the first-order controller, then choosing controller＇s parameters within these regions. Finally, the authors illustrate the proposed methodology with an example and simulations using Ns-2 simulator.

sellar Arachnoidocele: An Unusual Evolution in a Case Report

The sellar archnoidocele is a herniation of the subarachnoid space within the sella turcica which is often associated with a variable degree of flattening of the pituitary. Its clinical presentations range from an asymptomatic radiological finding to endocrine and neuro-ophthalmological manifestations. Its management depends on the initial symptomatology and requires long-term follow-up. We report here the case of a young child followed for a statural delay on a GH deficiency secondary to a sellar arachnoidocele, and who presents a rather unusual evolution.
