P-wave velocity images are determined under the Mount Erebus hotspot,Antarctica by using teleseismic *** results show a prominent low-velocity(low-v)anomaly of nearly circular symmetry(about 250-300 km in diameter)to about 200 km depth under the Mount Erebus volcanic region,which further extends down to～400 km as a narrow tilted *** observed low-v anomaly beneath the Mount Erebus volcano can be an expression of a thermal anomaly of deep origin.

应用印度南部新建的一个拥有21个台站的临时台阵的地震波形，显著提高了喀拉拉邦伊都基水库附近地区小震的检测阀值和参数。我们给出了这一地区16个地震的精确定位，地方震级为1．5～3．6，震源深度7．2～9．9kin。所选6个最好地震的断层面解显示走滑断层错动兼右旋运动。水库加载通常会导致应力的产生和在浅层深度（〈5km）弓l发地震，但是在伊都基水库区域内却没有该深度的地震。记录到的地震仅限于靠近Karur-Kambam-Painavu-Trichur（KKPT）剪切带西北-东南走向的断层。这些结果表明，伊都基水库区域内的地震均属于天然构造地震，而与水库没有联系。

The growing need for sustainable energy solutions,driven by rising energy shortages,environmental concerns,and the depletion of conventional energy sources,has led to a significant focus on renewable *** energy,among the various renewable sources,is particularly appealing due to its abundant ***,the efficiency of commercial solar photovoltaic(PV)modules is hindered by several factors,notably their conversion efficiency,which averages around 19%.This efficiency can further decline to 10%–16%due to temperature increases during peak sunlight *** study investigates the cooling of PV modules by applying water to their front surface through Computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for cooling the PV module by analyzing the interplay between water film thickness,Reynolds number,and their effects on temperature reduction and heat *** CFD analysis revealed that the most effective cooling condition occurred with a 5 mm thick water film and a Reynolds number of *** specific parameters were found to maximize the heat transfer and temperature reduction *** finding is crucial for the development of practical and efficient cooling systems for PV modules,potentially leading to improved performance and longevity of solar *** cooling fluids or advanced cooling techniques that might offer even better efficiency or practical benefits.

Copper-zinc-nickel（Cu-Zn-Ni） ferrite nanoparticles are used for wastewater treatment ***,low degradation efficiency and stability are two main issues that make them unsuitable for actual production *** this paper,the citrate-nitrate auto-combustion method was applied for the formation of Cu0.5Zn0.25Ni0.25LaxFe2-xO4;（0≤x≤0.1;step 0.02）(CZNL) *** the substitution process entails the replacement of a small ion with a larger one,the lattice constant and crystallite size does not exhibit a consistent incremental *** behavior is justified and *** size of all the CZNL ferrite nanoparticles is in the range of 8-12 nm,and the lattice constant is in the range of 8.6230 to 8.4865 *** morphological analysis conducted using field emission-scanning electron microscopy（FE-sEM） reveals that the CZNL exhibits agglomerated spherical *** energy dispersive X-ray spectrameter（EDAX） analysis was employed to confirm the elemental composition of CZNL *** the process entails the substitution of Fe3+magnetic ions with nonmagnetic ions La3+,the magnetic parameters of CZNL nanoferrites show a general decreasing trend as *** 20 K,saturation magnetization Ms shows an overall drop in its values from 59.302 emu/g at x=0.0-41.295 emu/g at x=0.1,the smallest value of 37.87 emu/g is recorded at x=*** highest coercivity（Hc=125.9 Oe） and remanence（Mr=13.32 emu/g） are recorded for x=0.08 and x=0.04 nanoferrite,*** band gap of all the CZNL nanoferrites was determined using the Kubelka-Munk function and Tauc plot for direct permitted *** doping modifies the band gap（within 1.86-1.75 eV）,increases light absorption,induces efficient e/h separation and charge migration to *** nanoferrite Cu0.5Zn0.25Ni0.25La0.06Fe1.94O4achieves a degradation efficiency of 97.3% for methylene blue（MB） dye removal after just 60 *** five recycling processes,the nanoc

Bio-inspired helicoidal composite laminates, inspired by the intricate helical structures found in nature, present a promising frontier for enhancing the mechanical properties of structural designs. Hence, this study provides a comprehensive investigation into the nonlinear free vibration and nonlinear bending behavior of bio-inspired composite plates. The inverse hyperbolic shear deformation theory(IHsDT) of plates is employed to characterize the displacement field, with the incorporation of Green-Lagrange nonlinearity. The problem is modeled using the C0finite element method(FEM), and an in-house code is developed in the MATLAB environment to solve it numerically. Various helicoidal layup configurations including helicoidal recursive(HR), helicoidal exponential(HE), helicoidal semi-circular(Hs), linear helicoidal(LH), and Fibonacci helicoidal(FH)with different layup sequences and quasi-isotropic configurations are studied. The model is validated, and parametric studies are conducted. These studies investigate the effects of layup configurations, side-to-thickness ratio, modulus ratios, boundary conditions, and loading conditions at different load amplitudes on the nonlinear vibration and nonlinear bending behaviors of bio-inspired composite plates. The results show that the laminate sequence exerts a substantial impact on both nonlinear natural frequencies and nonlinear bending behaviors. Moreover, this influence varies across different side-to-thickness ratios and boundary conditions of the bio-inspired composite plate.

stem cell-based brain repair is a promising emergent therapy for Parkinson's disease based on years of foundational research using human fetal donors as a cell *** current therapeutic options for patients,this approach has the potential to provide longterm stem cell–derived reconstruction and restoration of the dopaminergic input to denervated regions of the brain allowing for restoration of certain functions to *** ultimate clinical success of stem cell–derived brain repair will depend on both the safety and efficacy of the approach and the latter is dependent on the ability of the transplanted cells to survive and differentiate into functional dopaminergic neurons in the Parkinsonian *** the pre-clinical literature suggests that there is considerable variability in survival and differentiation between studies,the aim of this systematic review was to assess these parameters in human stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitor transplant studies in animal models of Parkinson's disease.A defined systematic search of the PubMed database was completed to identify relevant studies published up to March *** screening,76 articles were included in the analysis from which 178 separate transplant studies were *** these,graft survival could be assessed in 52 studies and differentiation in 129 ***,we found that graft survival ranged froms transplanted,with a median of 51%of transplanted cells surviving in the brain;while dopaminergic differentiation of the cells ranged from 0% to 46% of cells transplanted with a median of 3%.This systematic review suggests that there is considerable scope for improvement in the differentiation of stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitors to maximize the therapeutic potential of this approach for patients.
