The Araçuaíorogen,in eastern Brazil,was formed during the Neoproterozoic–Cambrian amalgamation of West *** the Mesozoic–Cenozoic opening of the south Atlantic ocean,and the associated divergent tectonics,the orogen developed as basement to the passive margin of south America and was progressively covered by thick offshore sedimentary basins,particularly the Espírito santo,Mucuri,and Cumuruxatiba basins,in which hydrocarbon systems have been *** understanding of the Araçuaíorogen’s passive margin evolution,erosion,and sediment transfer to these basins ultimately depends on constraining the onshore exhumation in response to Mesozoic–Cenozoic ***,new and previously published data from apatite fission-track(AFT)analyses and inverse thermal history modelling of(pre)Cambrian basement rocks from the Araçuaíorogen resolve three discrete basement cooling and associated erosional exhumation *** the pre-Rift phase,Jurassic–Hauterivian erosion of the Araçuaíorogen is most likely related to the adjoining intra-continental West Gondwana flexural subsidence,which increased hillslope and river erosion *** the Rift and Transitional phases,Barremian–Albian accelerated phase of erosion is associated with the uplift of the Atlantic rift shoulders and the establishment of an oceanic *** the Drift phase,reactivations in response to far-field stresses likely triggered a Late Cretaceous–paleocene rapid erosion *** rates at which these events unfolded vary spatially and are controlled by inherited *** Araçuaíorogen experienced slower denudation rates in areas closer to the são Francisco Craton,which suggests that the tectonic reactivation and related surface uplift during the Mesozoic–Cenozoic is in first-order controlled by lithospheric ***,the structural framework of the paramirim and pirapora aulacogens and NE-oriented shear zones in the orogen’s southeast facilitated later *** the spati

The assessment of detrital zircon age records is a key method in basin analysis,but it is prone to several biases that may compromise accurate sedimentary provenance *** to ultrahigh temperature(HT-UHT)metamorphism(especially if T>850℃)is herein presented as a natural cause of bias in provenance studies based on U-pb detrital zircon ages,since zircon from rocks submitted to these extreme and often prolonged conditions frequently yield protracted,apparently concordant,geochronological *** age spreading can result from disturbance of the primary U-pb zircon system,likewise from(re)crystallization processes during multiple and/or prolonged metamorphic *** this contribution,available geochronological data on Archean,Neoproterozoic and palaeozoic HT-UHT metamorphic rocks,acquired by different techniques(sIMs and LA-ICp-Ms)and showing distinct compositions,are reassessed to demonstrate HT-UHT metamorphism may result in modes and age distributions of unclear geological *** a consequence,it may induce misinterpretations on Upb detrital zircon provenance analyses,particularly in sedimentary rocks metamorphosed under such extreme temperature *** evaluate the presence of HT-UHT metamorphism-related bias in the detrital zircon record,we suggest a workflow for data acquisition and interpretation,combining a multi-proxy approach with:(i)in situ U-pb dating coupled with Hf analyses to retrieve the isotopic composition of the sources,and(ii)the integration of a petrochronological investigation to typify fingerprints of the HT-UHT metamorphic *** proposed workflow is validated in the investigation of one theoretical and one natural example allowing a better characterization of the sedimentary sources,maximum depositional ages,and the tectonic setting of the *** workflow allows to the appraisal of biases imposed by HT-UHT metamorphism and resulting disturbances in the U-pb detrital zircon record,particularly for sedimentary

In the last years, the types of devices used to access information systems have notably increased using different operating systems, screen sizes, interaction mechanisms, and software features. This device fragmentation is an important issue to tackle when developing native mobile service front-end applications. To address this issue,we propose the generation of native user interfaces(UIs) by means of model transformations, following the modelbased user interface(MBUI) paradigm. The resulting MBUI framework, called LIZARD, generates applications for multiple target platforms. LIZARD allows the definition of applications at a high level of abstraction, and applies model transformations to generate the target native UI considering the specific features of target platforms. The generated applications follow the UI design guidelines and the architectural and design patterns specified by the corresponding operating system manufacturer. The objective is not to generate generic applications following the lowest-common-denominator approach, but to follow the particular guidelines specified for each target device. We present an example application modeled in LIZARD, generating different UIs for Windows phone and two types of Android devices(smartphones and tablets).

The aim of the study was to determine the physical, physiological and nutritionalcharacteristics of female futsal players and selected markers of oxidative stress after their exercise training (Loughborough Intermittent shuttle Test). Eight health female futsal players (age 21.3 ± 3.2 years, body mass 64.5 ± 5.6 kg, height 169.5 ± 6.5 cm, body mass index 22.45 ± 2.25 kg/m2;mean ± sD) participated in this study. Blood samples were collected before, during and immediately after the exercise for glucose, lactate, ascorbic acid, total plasma antioxidant potential, lipid hydroperoxides, malondialdehyde and creatine kinase concentrations. Female futsal players appeared to meet caloric needs but failed to meet minimum carbohydrate and vitamin A, C and E recommendations. Immediately after the exercise there were an increase in lipid hydroperoxides (ranging from 9.32 ± 1.86 μmol?L–1 to 13.02 ± 1.62 μmol?L–1, p –11 to 3.29 ± 0.62 nmol?L–1, p –1 to 185.59 ± 6.96 U.I..L–1, p parallel, ascorbic acid and total plasma antioxidant potential had a slight decrease during and after exercise. Considering that alterations in oxidative stress parameters associated with inadequate ingestion of nutrients can affect health and performance of game players, further studies are needed to evalu- ate the inclusion of an nutritional education program and extent of biochemical changes through athlete’s recovery pe- riod.

The purpose was to analyze biomarkers of oxidative stress and muscle damage in junior soccer players undergoing intermittent exercise to verify the biochemical changes. Ten trained, healthy male soccer players (age 18.3 ± 0.7 years, body mass 74.3 ± 7.4 kg, height 175.5 ± 6.7 cm, body mass index 24.14 ± 1.15 kg/m2;mean ± sD) from the junior cate-gory of an elite Brazilian football association participated in this study. They accomplished a running test (Loughbo-rough Intermittent shuttle Test) which simulates common soccer activity patterns. Blood samples were collected before, during and immediately after the exercise for glucose, lactate, creatinine, urea, ascorbic acid, total plasma antioxidant potential, lipid hydroperoxides, malondialdehyde and creatine kinase concentrations. During the exercise no changes were observed in biomarkers, but, immediately after there was a significant decrease in total plasma antioxidant potential (ranging from 650.37 ± 66.53 μmol.L-1 to 559.95 ± 91.38 μmol.L-1, p -1 to 8.35 ± 0.83 nmol.L-1 and from 272.01 ± 49.67 U.I.?L-1 to 304.65 ± 39.13 U.I.?L-1, p s suggest that the exercise protocol induced significant changes in oxidative stress selected biomarkers in the early stage of recovery. Thus, taking into account that soccer players’ competitive careers initiate very precociously being under constant physical exhaustion, further research on junior soccer players’ physiology and health are important for more effective physical and nutritional programming.
