An Advanced Dynamic scheduling for Achieving Optimal Resource Allocation

Cloud computing distributes task-parallel among the various *** with self-service supported and on-demand service have rapid *** these applications,cloud computing allocates the resources dynami-cally via the internet according to user *** resource allocation is vital for fulfilling user *** contrast,improper resource allocations result to load imbalance,which leads to severe service *** cloud resources implement internet-connected devices using the protocols for storing,communi-cating,and *** extensive needs and lack of optimal resource allo-cating scheme make cloud computing more *** paper proposes an NMDs(Network Manager based Dynamic scheduling)for achieving a prominent resource allocation scheme for the *** proposed system mainly focuses on dimensionality problems,where the conventional methods fail to address *** proposed system introduced three–threshold mode of task based on its size sTT,MTT,LTT(small,medium,large task thresholding).Along with it,task mer-ging enables minimum energy consumption and response *** proposed NMDs is compared with the existing Energy-efficient Dynamic scheduling scheme(EDs)and Decentralized Virtual Machine Migration(DVM).With a Network Manager-based Dynamic scheduling,the proposed model achieves excellence in resource allocation compared to the other existing *** obtained results shows the proposed system effectively allocate the resources and achieves about 94%of energy efficient than the other *** evaluation metrics taken for comparison are energy consumption,mean response time,percentage of resource utilization,and migration.

AIM:To evaluate the anti-fertility effect of methanolic(MeTD) and aqueous(AqTD) flower extracts of Tabernaemon-tana divaricata in ***:The anti-fertility activity of the extracts was evaluated using two experimental animal models:1) Estrogenic activity was carried out in immature female rats using ethinyl estradiol as *** evaluation parameters includes changes in uterine weight and histopathology of uterus.2) Anti-implantation and early abortifacient activity was performed in female Wistar *** number of implants and resorbtions were compared to vehicle ***:Phytochemical analysis of MeTD and AqTD revealed the presence of carbohydrates,amino acids,steroids,glycosides,flavonoids,alkaloids and *** estrogenic activity,the MeTD and AqTD were offered significant estrogen-like activity at 500 mg?kg-1,*** increasing the uterine weight com-pared to vehicle control *** Anti-implantation and early abortifacient activity study,MeTD(500 mg?kg-1,p.o.) showed significant effect and it was evident by decrease in the number of implants and increase in the number of resorbtions compared to vehicle control ***:The MeTD at 500 mg?kg-1,*** significant estrogenic,anti-implantation and early abortifacient activ-ity,while the AqTD at 500 mg?kg-1,*** found to possess significant estrogenic activity and the results are in consistent with the literature reports related to anti-fertility effect of flower extracts of Tabernaemontana divaricata.

NiCo_2O_4 Nano-/Microstructures as High-Performance Biosensors: A Review

Non-enzymatic biosensors based on mixed transition metal oxides are deemed as the most promising devices due to their high sensitivity,selectivity,wide concentration range,low detection limits,and excellent *** NiCo2O4 mixed oxides have drawn considerable attention recently due to their outstanding advantages including large specific surface area,high permeability,short electron,and ion diffusion *** of the rapid development of non-enzyme biosensors,the current state of methods for synthesis of pure and composite/hybrid NiCo2P4 materials and their subsequent electrochemical biosensing applications are systematically and comprehensively reviewed *** analysis reveals better electrochemical sensing of bioanalytes by one-dimensional and two-dimensional NiCo2O4 nano-/microstructures than other *** biosensing efficiency of NiCo2O4 as compared to corresponding individual metal oxides,*** and Co3O4,is attributed to the close intrinsic-state redox couples of Ni3+/Ni2+(0.58 V/0.49 V) and Co3+/Co2+(0.53 V/0.51 V).Biosensing performance of NiCo2O4 is also significantly improved by making the composites of NiCo2O4 with conducting carbonaceous materials like graphene,reduced graphene oxide,carbon nanotubes(single and multi-walled),carbon nanofibers;conducting polymers like polypyrrole(PPy),polyaniline(PANI);metal oxides NiO,Co3O4,snO2,MnO2;and metals like Au,Pd,*** factors affecting the morphologies and biosensing parameters of the nano-/microstructured NiCo2O4 are also ***,some drawbacks and future perspectives related to this promising field are outlined.

Electrochemical oxidation of polyethylene glycol in electroplating solution using paraffin composite copper hexacyanoferrate modified (PCCHM) anode

Electrochemical oxidation of polyethylene glycol(PEG) in an acidic(pH 0.18 to 0.42) and high ionic strength electroplating solution was investigated. The electroplating solution is a major source of wastewater in the printing wiring board industry. A paraffin composite copper hexacyanoferrate modified(PCCHM) electrode was used as the anode and a bare graphite electrode was used as the cathode. The changes in PEG and total organic carbon(TOC) concentrations during the course of the reaction were monitored. The efficiency of the PCCHM anode was compared with bare graphite anode and it was found that the former showed significant electrocatalytic property for PEG and TOC removal. Chlorides present in the solution were found to contribute significantly in the overall organic removal process. short chain organic compounds like acetic acid, oxalic acid, formic acid and ethylene glycol formed during electrolysis were identified by HPLC method. Anode surface area and applied current density were found to influence the electro-oxidation process, in which the former was found to be dominating. Investigations of the kinetics for the present electrochemical reaction suggested that the two stage first-order kinetic model provides a much better representation of the overall mechanism of the process if compared to the generalized kinetic model.

Linear and nonlinear elastic analysis of closely spaced strip foundations using Pasternak model

In this study, an attempt is made to determine the interaction effect of two closely spaced strip footings using Pasternak model. The study considers small strain problem and has been performed using linear as well as nonlinear elastic analysis to determine the interaction effect of two nearby strip footings. The hyperbolic stress-strain relationship has been considered for the nonlinear elastic analysis. The linear elastic analysis has been carried out by deriving the equations for the interference effect of the footings in the framework of Pasternak model equation; whereas, the nonlinear elastic analysis has been performed using the finite difference method to solve the second order nonlinear differential equation evolved from Pasternak model with proper boundary conditions. Results obtained from the linear and the nonlinear elastic analysis are presented in terms of non-dimensional interaction factors by varying different parameters like width of the foundation, load on the foundation and the depth of the rigid base. Results are suitably compared with the existing values in the literature.

Transition from radiatively inefficient to cooling dominated phase in two temperature accretion disks around black holes

We investigate the transition of a radiatively inefficient phase of a viscous two temperature accreting flow to a cooling dominated phase and vice versa around black holes. Based on a global sub-Keplerian accretion disk model in steady state, including explicit cooling processes self-consistently, we show that general advective accretion flow passes through various phases during its infall towards a black hole. Bremsstrahlung, syn- chrotron and inverse Comptonization of soft photons are considered as possible cooling mechanisms. Hence the flow governs a much lower electron temperature ～10^8 - 10^9.5 K compared to the hot protons of temperature ～10^10.2 - 10^11.8 K in the range of the accretion rate in Eddington units 0.01≤M≤ 100. Therefore, the solutions may potentially explain the hard X-rays and the γ-rays emitted from AGNs and X-ray binaries. We finally compare the solutions for two different regimes of viscosity and conclude that a weakly viscous flow is expected to be cooling dominated compared to its highly viscous counterpart which is radiatively inefficient. The flow is successfully able to reproduce the observed luminosities of the under-fed AGNs and quasars （e.g. sgr A＊）, ultra-luminous X-ray sources （e.g. ss433）, as well as the highly luminous AGNs and ultra-luminous quasars （e.g. PKs 0743-67） at different combinations of the mass accretion rate and ratio of specific heats.

Optimization algorithms and intelligent techniques on electrical discharge machining process

Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is considered as the much traditional, adaptableand unconventional machining process that is proficient in generating complicated structures. Further, it is self-sufficient over the mechanical properties of workpiece materialsonly if it is conductive. The viability of the EDM process regarding the application typesmight get considerably improved with the constant enhancement in the personificationof numerical control and the metal removal efficacy. This survey intends to make a reviewof 65 papers related to the optimization and modeling of EDM process machining. Theanalysis is thus made with regards to the following factors like Al alloy composite in Dieshrinking EDM, Optimization and Al metal matrix composites. Particularly, the hybridoptimization models in various papers are analyzed concerning their logic. Further, thealgorithmic and parametric analysis is also made with the contributed papers. Finally,the research gaps and challenges in this EDM processing are discussed, which wouldpave the way for efficient research works in this area.

Colour and organic removal of biologically treated coffee curing wastewater by electrochemical oxidation method

The treatment of biologically treated wastewater of coffee-curing industry by the electrochemical oxidation using steel anode was investigated. Bench-scale experiments were conducted for activated sludge process on raw wastewater and the treated effluents were further treated by electrochemical oxidation method for its colour and organic content removal. The efficiency of the process was determined in terms of removal percentage of COD, BOD and colour during the course of reaction. several operating parameters like time, pH and current density were examined to ascertain their effects on the treatment efficiency. steel anode was found to be effective for the COD and colour removal with anode efficiency of 0.118 kgCOD\5h -1\5A -1\5m -2 and energy consumption 20.61 kWh\5kg -1 of COD at pH 9. The decrease in pH from 9 to 3 found to increase the anode efficiency from 0.118 kgCOD\5h -1\5A -1\5m -2 to 0.144 kWh\5kg -1 of COD while decrease the energy consumption from 20.61 kWh\5kg -1 of COD to 12.86 kWh\5kg -1 of COD. The pH of 5 was considered an ideal from the present treatment process as it avoids the addition of chemicals for neutralization of treated effluents and also economical with respect to energy consumption. An empirical relation developed for relationship between applied current density and COD removal efficiency showed strong predictive capability with coefficient of determination of 96.5%.

Performance analysis of combined cycle power plant

Combined cycle power plants （CCPPs） are in operation with diverse thermodynamic cycle configura- tions. Assortment of thermodynamic cycle for scrupulous locality is dependent on the type of fuel available and different utilities obtained from the plant. In the present paper, seven of the practically applicable configurations of CCPP are taken into consideration. Exergetic and energetic analysis of each component of the seven configurations is conducted with the help of computer programming tool, i.e., engineering equation solver （EEs） at different pressure ratios. For Case 7, the effects of pressure ratio, turbine inlet temperature and ambient relative humidity on the first and second law is studied. The thermodynamics analysis indicates that the exergy destruction in various components of the combined cycle is significantly affected by the overall pressure ratio, turbine inlet temperature and pressure loss in air filter and less affected by the ambient relative humidity.
