IL-34 is a novel biomarker for rheumatoid arthritis(RA),as its serum levels are linked to C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,rheumatoid factor(RF),IL-6 and radiographic progression[1,2].IL-34 reprograms naïve circulating M0 cells into glycolytic(CD14^(+)CD86^(+)GLUT1^(high))M34 macrophages(MΦs)by binding to its pathogenic receptor,sDC-1,which controls the activation of its coreceptor/M-CsFR[3].Glycolytic M34 MΦs are primed to differentiate into osteoclasts through sDC-1 ligation[3].

Magnesium-based materials not only exhibit desirable characteristics such as low density and high specific strength, but also possess exceptional functional properties, including high damping capacity, high thermal conductivity, high electromagnetic interference shielding capacity, flame retardancy, and dissolvability. However, achieving a balance between strength and functional properties remains a significant challenge in Mg alloys community. Typically, strength depends on the pinning effect of defects, such as solute atoms and second phases,which hinder dislocation motion. On the other hand, optimal functional properties usually necessitate relative perfect crystal structures, as the presence of solute atoms and second phases can have adverse effects on damping capacity and thermal conductivity. Balancing these conflicting requirements is difficult. The trade-off between strength and functional properties of the Mg alloys should be broken to meet the urgent need in aerospace, automotive, 3C(computers, communications, and consumer electronics) and energy industries for high performance structural-functional integrated Mg-based materials. This review summarizes recent progress in understanding the mechanisms and influencing factors for the functional properties of Mg alloys. The mechanisms underlying the trade-off between strength and functional properties of Mg alloys is discussed. The latest developed structural-functional integrated Mg alloys and their composites are summarized, including high strength Mg-based materials with high damping capacity/high thermal conductivity/strong electromagnetic shielding capability/excellent flame-resistance/high dissolution rate. The future works of developing structure-function integrated Mg-based materials are proposed.

A sOTER-based automatic procedure for qualitative land evaluation is developed. This procedure was created in the automated land evaluation system (ALEs). The objective was to design a procedure that allows for a quick separation of potentially suitable from non-suitable sOTER units for the intended land use, indicating constraints to different kinds of land use. Different kinds of land are unequal1y suited to various uses, land eva1uation is the assessment of the suitability of a tract of land for a specified kind of land use. In practice this implicates the comparison (matching) between the requirements of a specified land use and the properties of the land. Land evaluation concepts and definitions are treated in the paper. The ALEs is a computer program that allows land evaluators to build their own knowledge-based system with which they can compute the physical and economical suitability of map units in accordance with FAO framework for land evaluation. The ALEs program works with so-called decision trees, being hierarchical multiway keys in which the leaves are results (e.g., severity levels of land qualities), and the interior nodes of the tree are decision criteria (e.g., land characteristic values). These trees are traversed by the program to compute an evaluation using actual land data for each map unit. sOTAL is a sOTER-based qualitative model developed in ALEs for physical land evaluation in which presently three land utilization types (LUTs) are distinguished, i.e., cultivated banana, coffee and rubber under different input and technological conditions. These LUTs are characterized by 11 landuse requirements and evaluated by matching the land use requirements with the corresponding land qualities. 针对常规线性超声检测方法无法实现板结构接触类缺陷(如微裂纹、脱粘等)检测问题,将超声导波技术与振动声调制技术相结合,利用稀疏分布传感器发展了一种板结构中接触缺陷非线性超声检测方法。通过低频振动改变缺陷的接触状况,使得通过接触面的高频导波信号的相位和幅值受到调制。对受低频振动调制的超声导波二维时间序列进行时频分析,由于接触类缺陷的存在,在振动调制超声导波序列的时频分布上出现明显的低频振动频率分量。利用提取出的低频振动频率下的超声导波信号,进行了结构接触缺陷成像处理。检测试验表明,基于振动声调制的超声导波缺陷成像方法可以实现结构中的接触类缺陷检测。

Following the bioautographic te-chnique, 24 lysine producing microor-ganisms have been isolated from amongthe 263 hydrocarbon utilisers. Morphological, cultural and biochemicalcharacters of two promising isolates,have been studied. One of them iden-tified as Arthrobacter globiformis andthe other as Micrococcus varians, pro-duce 3.4 and 2.6 g lysine per litreof medium.

Background： The first three censuses of the 50-ha plot at Barro Colorado Island spanned an unusually harsh dry season during the 1983 El Nitro. By the early 1990s, we had documented increases in tree mortality, tree growth, and large population fluctuations of many species during the 1982-1985 census interval. At the time, we asserted that increasing drought frequency would greatly affect the forest. With the benefit of five more censuses at Barro Colorado from 1995-2015, we can now put the 1980 conditions in a longer perspective and test the hypothesis that increasing droughtiness has continued to change the forest. Methods： A 50-ha forest plot on Barro Colorado Island was censused eight times, in 1982 and every five years since 1985. All free-standing woody stems were measured, mapped, and identified in each census. Results： 1） The period 1982-1992 included several extreme dry seasons, not just 1983, but since then there have been few such droughts. 2） Dbh growth declined from a peak in the early 1980s to its lowest in the early 1990s. From 1995-2015 it increased slightly, but not returning to the initial peak. Nearly every species and all dbh categories followed the same pattern. 3） The elevated stand-wide mortality rate of large trees during the 1982-1985 drought has not returned, and most individual species showed the same pattern of elevated mortality in the 1980s followed by low and fairly stable mortality after 1990. 4） sapling mortality declined after 198,5, but rose again in the late-90s, so the 1980s drought period no longer looks unusual. Mortality of individual species＇ saplings fluctuated erratically, including cases where mortality during the drought was lower than after. 5） population sizes of individual species fluctuated in all possible directions. some species declined precipitously during the drought, then recovered, but others did not recover. The nucleotide sequences of the open reading frames of cDNAs for selenoprotein W from skeletal muscle of rat, mouse, sheep, rhesus monkey and human are reported. Theoretical translation of the coding sequences indicated highly similar proteins of 88 (mouse and rat) or 87 (human, monkey and sheep) amino acids. In 73 of 88 positions the specified amino acids are identical for all five proteins. TGA encoding selenocysteine is the 13th codon of all the cDNAs. The rnouse, rat and sheep open reading frames terminate with TGA but the human and rhesus monkey coding regions terminate with TAA. The encoded amino acid sequences are identical for the rat and mouse proteins, and for the human and monkey proteins. The similarity of the cDNAs continues in the 3' noncoding regions through the putative selenocysteine insertion sequence (sECls) elements which are required for correct interpretation of the selenocysteine codon. The region between the sECIs elements and the polyadenylation signals showed much lower similarity. The cloned rat gene for selenoprotein W is 5000 bases long,with the 663 bases of the cDNA in six exons. The transcription start site was identified by nuclease protection assay to be 16 bases upstream of the longest cDNA clone. A canonical TATA box occurs 150 bases upstream, but the assay did not indicate the presence of longer mRNAs
