Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan of worldwide distribution and the agent of *** is estimated that 30%–50%of the world population could be infected with this *** the infection in immunocompetent individuals is mostly asymptomatic,the disease in immunosuppressed and pregnant is a risk *** a member of the phylum Apicomplexa,*** has an obligatory intracellular lifestyle;therefore,invading a host cell and establishing it inside a parasitophorous vacuole(pV)are mandatories for the survival of this *** construction of a perfect intracellular niche for *** requires the secretion of an arsenal of proteins from unique secretory *** proteins will remodel the vacuolar environment and the host cell organization and functions,allowing the parasite to access essential nutrients and stay“invisible”inside a host *** the present review,we will discuss the main steps involved in the pV formation and its differentiation to tissue cyst,focusing mainly on the strategies employed in the acquisition of nutrients and proteins involved in host cell modification.

Autophagy serves an innate immune function in defending the host against invading bacteria,including group A streptococcus(GAs).Autophagy is regulated by numerous host proteins,including the endogenous negative regulator calpain,a cytosolic *** disseminated serotypeM1T1 GAs strains associated with high invasive disease potential express numerous virulence factors and resist autophagic *** in vitro infection of human epithelial cell lines with representative wild-type GAs M1T1 strain 5448(M1.5448),we observed increased calpain activation linked to a specific GAs virulence factor,the interleukin-8 protease *** activation inhibited autophagy and decreased capture of cytosolic GAs in *** contrast,the serotype M6 GAs strain JRs4(***4),which is highly susceptible to host autophagy-mediated killing,expresses low levels of spyCEp and does not activate *** of spyCEp in ***4 stimulated calpain activation,inhibited autophagy,and significantly decreased bacterial capture in *** paired loss-and gain-of-function studies reveal a novel role for the bacterial protease spyCEp in enabling GAs M1 evasion of autophagy and host innate immune clearance.

Benchtop tissue cultures have become increasingly complex in recent years,as more on-a-chip biological technologies,such as microphysiological systems(Mps),are developed to incorporate cellular constructs that more accurately represent their respective biological *** Mps have begun facilitating major breakthroughs in biological research and are poised to shape the field in the coming *** biological systems require integrated sensing modalities to procure complex,multiplexed datasets with unprecedented combinatorial biological *** this work,we expanded upon our polymer-metal biosensor approach by demonstrating a facile technology for compound biosensing that was characterized through custom modeling *** reported herein,we developed a compound chip with 3D microelectrodes,3D microfluidics,interdigitated electrodes(IDEs)and a *** chip was subsequently tested using the electrical/electrochemical characterization of 3D microelectrodes with 1 kHz impedance and phase recordings and IDE-based high-frequency(-1 MHz frequencies)impedimetric analysis of differential localized temperature recordings,both of which were modeled through equivalent electrical circuits for process parameter ***,a simplified antibody-conjugation strategy Was employed for a similar IDE-based analysis of the implications of a key analyte(L-glutamine)binding to the equivalent electrical ***,acute microfluidic perfusion modeling was performed to demonstrate the ease of microfluidics integration into such a polymer-metal biosensor platform for potential complimentary localized chemical ***,our work demonstrates the design,development,and characterization of an accessibly designed polymer-metal compound biosensor for electrogenic cellular constructs to facilitate comprehensive Mps data collection.

A zinc oxide(ZnO) nanoparticle gas sensor was formed by spin coating. We annealed the film at 400, 600, and 800°C for 1 h in air to create a gas sensor. The responses of the gas sensor to ethanol under UV light illumination were investigated. We found that the ZnO nanoparticle film annealed at 800°C had the highest sensitivity. This can be attributed to the fact that the defects of ZnO nanoparticle film annealed at 800°C are considerably more than those for the film annealed at other temperatures. This study demonstrates that ZnO nanoparticles have potential applications as room-temperature ethanol sensors.

在自守L-函数理论中,Kuznetsov迹公式是焦点问题之一,它有一些不同的表述方法和形式,其中,最经典的是Iwaniec给出的第一类Fuchs群上的情形.而Motohashi考查了全模群上的情形且与Iwaniec的结果并不相同.在模群关系原理基础上,Ma发现Motohashi的表述是定理2.4的另一种形式,且认为其未考虑Neumann级数.本文就Motohashi利用selberg将两个poincaré级数的内积的不同表达形式进行等同处理并推广了定理2.4的方法,这和Iwaniec的结果形式相反,但却符合许多文献中描述的Kuznetsov迹公式.为了使Kuznetsov迹公式的形式更加简单并容易理解,本文利用一些常用的特殊函数详细阐述了马晶与Agarwal的证明过程并证明了一些包含Bessel函数的递推式.
