Covalent triazine frameworks modified by ultrafine Pt nanoparticles for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production

Pt nanoparticles(PtNPs)as active species have always been considered as one of the best semiconductor materials for photocatalytic hydrogen *** this study,a schottky heterojunction has been successfully constructed by evenly loading ultrafine PtNPs onto a triazine-based covalent organic frameworks(COFs).This strategy maintained the high activity of these ultra-small PtNPs while maximizing the utilization of the Pt active *** fabricated PtNPs@covalent triazine-based framework-1(CTF-1)composite accomplished a significantly high rate of hydrogen evolution(20.0 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)=7.6%,atλ=450 nm)with 0.40 wt.%Pt loading,giving rise to a 44-fold-increase in the efficiency of the photocatalytic hydrogen production compared to the pristine *** calculations revealed that the strong electron transfer(Q(Pt)=−0.726 qe,in the analysis of Bader charge,Q(Pt)is the charge quantity transferred from Pt cluster to CTF-1,and qe is the unit of charge transfer quantity)between PtNPs and CTF-1 triggers a strong interaction,which makes PtNPs being firmly attached to the structure of CTF-1,thereby enabling high stability and excellent hydrogen production ***,the hydrogen binding free energy(ΔGH*)of PtNPs@CTF-1 is much lower than that of the unmodified CTF-1,leading to a much lower intermediate state and hence a significant improvement in photocatalytic *** overall findings of this work provide a new platform to incorporate metallic NPs into COFs for the design and fabrication of highly efficient photocatalysts.

Decadal trends in precipitable water vapor over the Indus River Basin using ERA5 reanalysis data

Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV)constitutes a pivotal parameter within the domains of atmospheric science,and remote sensing due to its profound influence on Earth’s climate dynamics and weather *** exerts a significant impact on atmospheric stability absorption and emission of radiation,thus engendering alterations in the Earth’s radiative *** such,precise quantification of PWV holds the potential to enhance weather prognostication and fortify preparedness against severe meteorological *** study aimed to elucidate the spatial and temporal changes in seasonal and annual PWV across the Indus River Basin and its sub-basins using ERA5 reanalysis *** present study used ERA5 PWV(entire atmospheric column),air temperature at 2 m(t2m)and 500 hPa(T_500hPa),evapotranspiration,and total cloud cover data from 1960 to *** sen slope estimator and Mann-Kendall test were used for trend *** and multiple regression methods were used to understand the association of PWV with other *** findings have unveiled the highest increase in mean PWV during the monsoon(0.40 mm/decade),followed by premonsoon(0.37 mm/decade),post-monsoon(0.27 mm/decade),and winter(0.19 mm/decade)throughout the study ***,the mean PWV exhibited the most pronounced positive trend in the sub-basin Lower Indus(LI),followed by Panjnad(P),Kabul(K),and Upper Indus(UI)across all seasons,except *** PWV has also risen in the Indus basin and its sub-basins over the last six *** exhibits a consistent upward trend up to an elevation of 3500 m within the basin which is most pronounced during the monsoon season,followed by the *** escalating PWV within the basin is reasonably ascribed to increasing air temperatures,augmented evapotranspiration,and heightened cloud *** findings hold potential utility for pertinent authorities engaged in water resource management and planning.

Land surface temperature(LsT)is a crucial parameter for understanding the Earth's surface energy balance,which provides insights into climate dynamics and local environmental ***,the present study aims to evaluate the spatial and elevation-wise trends in the daytime,nighttime,and mean LsT across the Indus River Basin(IRB)using MODIs 8-day product for the period between 2002 and *** elevation,cloud cover,and land cover type data are used for explaining the emerging LsT *** Theil slope estimator and MannKendall significance test were used for estimating the seasonal and annual LsT *** findings show warming in mean daytime(0.020-0.024℃/yr)(except winter and post-monsoon),nighttime(0.013-0.049℃/yr),and mean(0.001-0.042℃/yr)LsT in all the seasons(highest in monsoon).The annual mean nighttime LsT(0.025℃/yr)is rising significantly faster than the mean daytime LsT(0.0016℃/yr),showing the presence of a“nighttime warming effect”,which possibly increases human discomfort,particularly during the warm pre-monsoon and humid monsoon ***-dependent warming(EDW)is predominant in mean daytime LsT in two elevation zones,namely(i)0-3 km and(ii)above 4 km,in all seasons,except in *** contrast,EDW in mean nighttime LsT is observed up to 3 km and above 6 km in the basin in all the seasons,excluding *** warming trend in LsT may be attributed to rising atmospheric moisture,cloud cover,declining snow cover,and changes in land cover to non-vegetated ***,further investigations will involve exploring the underlying factors contributing to the observed anomalies in nighttime LsT,considering variables such as regional energy balance and atmospheric *** research contributes to an understanding of the thermal dynamics in the mountain basin,aiding in climate studies,land management,and the development of effective adaptation strategies in the IRB.

In this work,we have reported the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of captopril(Cap)coordination compounds:Cu(Cap)·2H 2O,Cr(Cap)·H 2O,Zn(Cap)·3H 2O and Mg(Cap)***,it is worthily mentioned that the FTIR spectroscopic technique was employed to recognized the nature of coordination between captopril ligand and copper,chromium,zinc and magnesium(Ⅱ)metal *** view of the infrared spectroscopic tool,the copper(Ⅱ)metal ion coordinated toward captopril drug ligand through sulfur atom of sH group dependent on the absent of stretching vibration band of—*** on this result,the stretching motion ofνa(COO)shifts clearly indicates that Cu 2+,Cr 2+,Zn 2+and Mg 2+the carboxylic group is employed as coordinative site for all compounds as a metal-ligand coordinative *** a general behavior,it is verified that the coordination compound thermal stability(considering the release of captopril molecules,not the release of water molecules)is affected by the metal cation radius:minor radius is associated with higher thermal stability,probably due to a higher metal-captopril bond dissociation enthalpy.

In this study, the weather conditions of the accident at Maroua-salak airport on 02 August 2020 are analyzed. This C130 aircraft accident took place under bad weather conditions. This bad weather is diagnosed using the models as CFs, GFs and GEFs that reanalyze outputs of the results. At the end of this re-analysis, the result obtained shows that the event which took place at the Maroua-salak airport was predictable. However, the analysis of these results has made it possible to present the rainfall cumul between 05 and 10 mm for this day. In addition, a comparative study of the rainfall cumul obtained by the CFs, GFs and GEFs models and that estimated by the satellites has been carried out. These models can significantly improve the prevention of such disasters in the region.

A New Position Calibration Method for MUsER Images

The Mingantu spectral Radioheliograph(MUsER),a new generation of solar dedicated radio imagingspectroscopic telescope,has realized high-time,high-angular,and high-frequency resolution imaging of the sun over an ultra-broadband frequency *** pair of MUsER antennas measures the complex visibility in the aperture plane for each integration time and frequency *** corresponding radio image for each integration time and frequency channel is then obtained by inverse Fourier transformation of the visibility ***,the phase of the complex visibility is severely corrupted by instrumental and propagation ***,robust calibration procedures are vital in order to obtain high-fidelity radio *** there are many calibration techniques available—e.g.,using redundant baselines,observing standard cosmic sources,or fitting the solar disk—to correct the visibility data for the above-mentioned phase errors,MUsER is configured with non-redundant baselines and the solar disk structure cannot always be *** it is desirable to develop alternative calibration methods in addition to these available techniques whenever appropriate for MUsER to obtain reliable radio *** the case where a point-like calibration source contains an unknown position error,we have for the first time derived a mathematical model to describe the problem and proposed an optimization method to calibrate this unknown error by studying the offset of the positions of radio images over a certain period of the time *** experiments and actual observational data analyses indicate that this method is valid and *** MUsER’s practical data the calibrated position errors are within the spatial angular resolution of the *** calibration method can also be used in other situations for radio aperture synthesis observations.

Effectiveness of an educational program on improving healthcare providers' knowledge of acute stroke: A randomized block design study

BACKGROUND: stroke is a time-sensitive neurological disease and a life-threatening medical condition. Providing timely management for stroke patients is a crucial issue in healthcare settings. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an evidence-based educational program on healthcare providers'(HCPs) overall knowledge of ***: A randomized block design with post-test only was used. A total of 189 HCPs(physicians, registered nurses, and paramedics) involved with treating stroke patients in the emergency were recruited. Participants were randomly assigned to either the intervention or waiting list control group. A one-session, stroke educational program was offered to the HCPs followed by a post-test designed to assess knowledge about stroke. REsULTs: A significant main effect on the profession type was found, with physicians having higher mean scores of stroke knowledge compared with nurses and paramedics(F [2, 183]=48.55, Psitive effect on increasing the level of stroke knowledge among HCPs(F [1, 183]=43.31, Psed assessment tools for patients with suspected stroke was denied by 36% of the total ***: The implemented intervention can increase HCP's knowledge regarding stroke. stroke education should be considered as one of the essential requirements for professional development for all HCPs in the emergency.

C2Analyzer: Co-target–Co-function Analyzer

MicroRNAs （miRNAs） interact with their target mRNAs and regulate biological processes at post-transcriptional level. While one miRNA can target many mRNAs, a single mRNA can also be targeted by a set of miRNAs. The targeted mRNAs may be involved in different biological processes that are described by gene ontology （GO） terms. The major challenges involved in analyzing these multitude regulations include identification of the combinatorial regulation of miRNAs as well as determination of the co-functionally-enriched miRNA pairs. The C2Analyzer： Co- target Co-function Analyzer, is a Perl-based, versatile and user-friendly web tool with online instructions. Based on the hypergeometric analysis, this novel tool can determine whether given pairs of miRNAs are co-functionally enriched. For a given set of GO term（s）, it can also identify the set of miRNAs whose targets are enriched in the given GO term（s）. Moreover, C2Analyzer can also identify the co-targeting miRNA pairs, their targets and GO processes, which they are involved in. The miRNA miRNA co-functional relationship can also be saved as a .txt file, which can be used to further visualize the co-functional network by using other software like Cytoscape. C2Analyzer is freely available at ***/c2analyzer.
