This review provides insight into the current research trend in transition metal oxides(TMOs)-based photocatalysis in removing the organic colouring matters from *** easy understanding,the research progress has been presented in four generations according to the catalyst composition and mode of application,viz:single component TMOs(the firstgeneration),doped TMOs/binary TMOs/doped binary TMOs(the second-generation),inactive/active support-immobilized TMOs(the third-generation),and ternary/quaternary compositions(the fourth-generation).The first two generations represent suspended catalysts,the third generation is supported catalysts,and the fourth generation can be suspended or *** review provides an elaborated comparison between suspended and supported catalysts,their general/specific requirements.k.y factors controlling degradation,and the methodologies for performance *** the plausible fundamental and advanced dye degradation mechanisms involved in each generation of catalysts were *** existing challenges in TMOs-based photocatalysis and how the researchers approach the hitch to resolve it effectively are *** research trends are also presented.

Pore pressure(PP)information plays an important role in analysing the geomechanical properties of the reservoir and hydrocarbon field *** prediction is an essential requirement to ensure safe drilling operations and it is a fundamental input for well design,and mud weight estimation for wellbore ***,the pore pressure trend prediction in complex geological provinces is challenging particularly at oceanic slope setting,where sedimentation rate is relatively high and PP can be driven by various complex *** overcome these difficulties,an advanced machine learning(ML)tool is implemented in combination with empirical *** empirical method for PP prediction is comprised of data pre-processing and model establishment ***'s method and Porosity method have been used for PP calculation of the well U1517A located at Tuaheni Landslide Complex of Hikurangi subduction zone of IODP expedition ***-ray,sonic travel time,bulk density and sonic derived porosity are extracted from well log data for the theoretical framework *** normal compaction trend(NCT)curve analysis is used to check the optimum fitting of the low permeable zone *** statistical analysis is done using the histogram analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient matrix with PP data series to identify potential input combinations for ML-based predictive model *** dataset is prepared and divided into two parts:Training and *** PP data and well log of borehole U1517A is pre-processed to scale in between[-1,+1]to fit into the input range of the non-linear activation/transfer function of the decision tree regression *** Decision Tree Regression(DTR)algorithm is built and compared to the model performance to predict the PP and identify the overpressure zone in Hikurangi Tuaheni Zone of IODP Expedition 372.

Rice is the staple food for more than half of the world’s population,and the demand for rice is expected to increase by 28%by 2050(Jiang et al.,2017).However,rice production is one of the largest anthropogenic sources of the potent greenhouse gas methane(CH4),accounting for 22%of total agricultural CH4 emissions(Qian et al.,2023).Therefore,to achieve sustainable intensification of rice cultivation,it is necessary to increase yields while reducing CH4 *** management techniques to reduce CH4 emissions while maintaining high yields have been studied extensively over the past few decades,but crop breeding to reduce CH4 emissions without compromising yields has received less attention(kwon et al.,2023).

Tauopathies are a group of neurological disorders,including Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia,which involve progressive neurodegeneration,cognitive deficits,and aberrant tau protein *** development of tauopathies cannot currently be stopped or slowed down by treatment *** the significant contribution of tau burden in primary tauopathies and the strong association between pathogenic tau accumulation and cognitive deficits,there has been a lot of interest in creating therapies that can alleviate tau pathology and render neuroprotective ***,small molecules,immunotherapies,and gene therapy have been used to reduce the pathological tau burden and prevent neurodegeneration in animal models of ***,the major pitfall of the current therapeutic approach is the difficulty of drugs and gene-targeting modalities to cross the blood-brain barrier and their unintended side *** this review,the current therapeutic strategies used for tauopathies including the use of oligonucleotide-based gene therapy approaches that have shown a promising result for the treatment of tauopathies and Alzheimer’s disease in preclinical animal models,have been discussed.

A surging population in karnataka state,a semi-arid region in India,poses a threat to both food security and livelihood sustainability,necessitating a concentrated effort to bolster agricultural efficiency and achieve United Naton’s sustainable Development Goal 2(zero hunger).Therefore,in order to address the pressing issue of food scarcity in karnataka,this study meticulously examined the spatio-temporal variation of agricultural efficiency and irrigation intensity in karnataka,uncovering its significant dependence of agricultural efficiency on irrigation ***,this study used a one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)to ascertain significant differences in the means of agricultural efficiency and irrigation intensity during 2004-2005 and *** study showed that the maximum improvement in agricultural efficiency index was recorded in Belgaum(40.24),Gulbarga(24.77),and Yadgir districts(22.92)between 2004-2005 and 2018-2019,which indicated the progressing trend and better scope for agriculture *** the contrary,some districts expressed threat(a decline of above 20.00 of agricultural efficiency index)and needed special care for the improvement of agricultural efficiency in four northern districts(Bagalkot,Bidar,Raichur,and Bijapur),three southern districts(Chitradurga,Chikballapur and Hassan),and two southern districts.k.ppal and Gadag)in *** 2004-2005,irrigation intensity varied from 3.19%to 56.39%,with the lowest irrigation intensity in kodagu District and the highest irrigation intensity in shimoga *** 2018-2019,irrigation intensity changed from 0.77%to 72.77%,with the lowest irrigation intensity in kodagu District and the highest in Dakshin kannad ***,the research scrutinized the complex relationship between agricultural efficiency and irrigation intensity,with the correlation coefficient increased from 0.162 during 2004-2005 to 0.255 during *** implies that in both periods,a low positive
