The non-Newtonian blood flow, together with magnetic particles in a stenosed artery, is studied using a magneto-hydrodynamic approach. The wall slip condition is also considered. Approximate solutions are obtained in series forms under the assumption that the Womersley frequency parameter has small values. Using an integral transform method, analytical solutions for any values of the Womersley parameter are *** simulations are performed using MATHCAD to study the influence of stenosis and magnetic field on the flow parameters. When entering the stenosed area, blood velocity increases slightly, but increases considerably and reaches its maximum value in the stenosis throat. it is concluded that the magnitude of axial velocity varies considerably when the applied magnetic field is strong. The magnitude of maximum fluid velocity is high in the case of weak magnetic fields. This is due to the Lorentz's force that opposes motion of an electrically conducting fluid. The effect of externally transverse magnetic field is to decelerate the flow of blood. The shear stress consistently decreases in the presence of a magnetic field with increasing intensity.

Despite the massive usages of low carbon steel in automobile for engineering components, its corrosion and high friction coefficient in aggressive environment make it limited in service. This paper is aimed at modifying low carbon steel structural component with thin film composite for enhanced mechanical and corrosion properties. The steel structure was electrodeposited with Zn-V_2 O_5 and embedded with varied NbO_2 weight concentration of 6-12 wt % based electrolyte. scanning electron microscope(sEM) and high optical microscope was used to study the microstructural evolution of the fabricated coatings. The thermal stability of the fabricated coatings was studied in an isothermal furnace at 300 ℃ and 600 ℃ and further characterized using a high tech optical microscope. Potentiodynamic polarization technique was used to investigate the corrosion behavior of the composites in 3.65% NaCl. From the result, the effect of NbO_2 on Zn-V_2 O_5-NbO_2 was massive with improved crystal grain within the coatings lattices. The coating possesses strong metallurgical bonding and good corrosion resistance properties of about 0.315 mm/yr corrosion rate compare to 4.1 mm/yr of as-received sample. No doubt the impact of thermal shock on the resilient characteristics of the composite coating was moderate owing to the stable adherent properties of the deposited coatings.

intense visible emissions from dysprosium(Dy3+) ions doped glasses became prospective for diverse technological applications. in this paper, physical, optical and structural properties of magnesium borate glasses doped with varied concentrations of DyOwere examined. such glasses were synthesised by melt quenching method and characterized at room temperature using several analytical *** and absorption spectra(in the visible region) of as-quenched samples were used to evaluate the physical and optical properties. XRD pattern confims the amorphous state of as-quenched samples. The Fourier transform infrared(FTiR) spectra of glasses reveal various bonding vibrations assigned to different functional groups. UV-vis-NiR spectra disclose eight absorption bands accompanied by a band for hypersensitive transition positioned at 1260 nm(~6 H→~6 F). The values of direct and indirect optical energy band gap of the studied glasses are decreased with the increase of Dyion contents. The photoluminescence spectra of all glasses under the excitation of 380 nm display two prominent emission bands centred at 497 nm(~4 F→~6 H, blue) and 587 nm(~4 F→~6 H, green).The achieved intense luminescence from the proposed glass composition may be beneficial for solidstate laser applications.

The dielectric constants and the dielectric loss, as well as the activation energy of dielectric relaxation of silylated cellulose were measured within the frequency range 10**5 to 10**7 Hz and the temperature range from 10 to 50 degree C. The test samples were activated cellulose with ethylene diamine, with sodium hydroxide and inactivated cellulose before and after silylation. The measurements were carried out using a multi-deka-meter. Cellulose molecules are more activated by treatment with ethylene diamine than with sodium hydroxide. Generally, silylation causes a marked decrease of the dielectric constant and dielectric loss, meanwhile the silylated samples are affected with the pretreatment of linters with sodium hydroxide and ethylene diamine. Using the Mφ11er energy-momentum definition in general relativity （GR） we calculate the total energy-momentum distribution associated with （n 4- 2）-dimensional homogeneous and isotropic model of the universe. it is found that total energy of M^ller is vanishing in （n 4- 2） dimensions everywhere but n-momentum components of Mφ11er in （n 4- 2） dimensions are different from zero. Also, we evaluate the static Einstein Universe, FRW universe and de sitter universe in four dimensions by using （n 4- 2）-type metric, then calculate the Mφ11er energy-momentum distribution of these spacetimes. However, our results are consistent with the results of Banerjee and sen, Xulu, Radinschi, Vargas, Cooperstock-israelit, A ygiin et al., Rosen, and Johri et al. in four dimensions.

The work provides the results of the one-step formation of boron-containing coatings on an Mg–Mn–Ce alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation. The results of studies of the composition, structure and morphology of heteroxide coatings are presented. it was established that the boron is contained in the coating mainly in the form of B or B_(2)O_(3). The introduction of B changes the color of coatings, and also helps to increase their porosity. The method of determining the full cross section of the interaction of thermal neutron absorption efficiency by samples material using the installation of neutron-activation analysis based on ^(252)Cf was developed. it was shown that the introduction of boron into the formed coatings allows to increase the macroscopic cross-section of the interaction of samples with thermal neutrons by 3.8 times. This effect opens the potential for the use of synthesized material in the field of nuclear technologies and aerospace industry.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake specific Fuel Consumption（BsFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DsMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DsME B20 and other DsME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BsFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,NOx,smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BsFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.
