Four ECR ion sources have been operated in National Institute of Radiological sciences(NIRs). Two ECR ion sources supply various ion species for the Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba(HIMAC). The 10GHz NIRs-ECR ion source mainly produces C^(2+) ions for the heavy-ion *** of si,Ar,Fe,Kr and Xe are usually produced by the 18GHz NIRs-HEC ion source for physical and biological *** other two compact ECR ion sources with all permanent magnet configuration have been developed for the new generation carbon therapy *** of these,the Kei-source,is a prototype which has been installed to the NIRs-930 cyclotron for axial *** other source,Kei2-source,is a demonstration source and utilized for the new generation *** addition,both Kei sources have been used to study fundamental properties. In this paper,present status of the ion sources and recent developments are reported.

Right anterior segmental hepatic duct emptying directly into the cystic duct in a living donor

A 35-year-old mother was scheduled to be the living donor for liver transplantation to her second son,who suffered from biliary atresia complicated with biliary cirrhosis at the age of 2 *** operative plan was to recover the left lateral segment of the mother's liver for living donor *** the use of cholangiography at the time of surgery,we found the right anterior segmental duct(RAsD) emptying directly into the cystic duct,and the catheter passed into the *** repairing the incision in the cystic duct,transplantation was successfully *** postoperative course was *** anatomical variations were frequently encountered,however,this variation has very rarely been *** the RAsD was divided,the repair would be very difficult because the duct will not dilate sufficiently in an otherwise healthy *** preoperative evaluation of the living donor's biliary anatomy,especially using magnetic resonance cholangiography and careful intraoperative techniques,is important to prevent bile duct injury and avoid the risk to the healthy donor.

本文研究了应用4-甲基苄基氯选择性保护肽片段中的半胱氨酸巯基,用部分保护肽片段的硫酯合成了c-Myb蛋白(38—89)-NH_2,由4-甲基苄基保护的巯基在硫酯的银离子活化条件下很稳定,该方法可用于含半胱氨酸蛋白质的化学合成。

Air pollution causes deleterious effects on human health with aerosols being among the most polluting *** objective of this work is the characterization of the PM2.5 and PM10 aerosol mass in the *** methods of analysis include WD-XRF and *** were correlated with meteorological information and air mass trajectories(model HYsPLIT)by multivariate analysis.A morphological structural analysis was also carried out to identify the probable sources of atmospheric aerosols in the city of sao Jose do Rio Preto,*** mean mass concentration values obtained were 24.54 μg/m^3 for PM10,above the WHO annual standard value of 20 μg/m^3 and 10.88 μg/m^3 for PM2.5 whose WHO recommended limit is10 μg/m^***-XRF analysis of the samples revealed si and Al as major components of the coarse *** the fine fraction,the major elements were Al and *** sEM-FEG characterization allowed identifying the morphology of the particles in agglomerates,ellipsoids and filaments in the PM10,besides spherical in the *** analysis by EDs corroborated WD-XRF results,identifying the crustal elements,aluminosilicates and elements of anthropogenic origin in the coarse *** the fine fraction crustal elements were also identified;aluminosilicates,black carbon and spherical particles(C and O) originating from combustion processes were *** use of multivariate analysis to correlate air mass trajectories with the results of the morpho-structural characterization of the particulate matter allowed confirmation of the complex composition of the particles resulting from the combination of both local and long-distance sources.

Analysis of serum Antibody Level after COVID-19 Vaccine and side Effects after Vaccine

Background: COVID-19 has caused a large number of deaths, in the elderly. In this situation, vaccines have been considered the main strategy to combat COVID-19 and were developed worldwide in 2020. One problem with COVID-19 vaccination is side effects after vaccination. In this report, we identify the relationship between side effects and elevation of antibodies as determined by monitoring several kinds of antibodies against COVID-19. Objective: We investigated whether the antibody level changed depending on side effects after COVID-19 vaccination. Methods: Healthy volunteers, who received two vaccinations between 10 March and 7 May 2021, were collected for this study. Information including age, gender, smoking history, medical history including allergies and side reactions after vaccination was obtained by questionnaire. serum levels of antibodies of IgG and IgM against each s1, sP, and NP antigens of COVID-19 were evaluated frequently for 3 - 4 months after the first vaccination. Result: Ten employees working at Iwate Medical University were evaluated in this study. side effects were observed in 7 of 10 patients, and grade 2 side effects in all 3 patients with a history of allergic disease. serum s1 and sP IgG were elevated sufficiently in all patients. In all patients, IgG antibody titers fell below the cutoff point in approximately 3 months. No cases had elevated NP antibodies. sP IgM was elevated in three cases;all three cases with elevated IgM had allergic disease and the degree of side effects was relatively higher. subjects with long-lasting elevated sPIgM were observed. Conclusion: s1 IgG and sP IgG exceeded the cutoff in all subjects after vaccination but decreased below the cutoff in all subjects within 4 months, regardless of side effects or allergic history. On the other hand, elevated sPIgM was suspected to be related to side effects and history of allergies, and cases with persistent elevation of sPIgM were observed.
