Gradient layered Mxene/Fe_(3)O_(4)@CNTs/TOCNF ultrathin nanocomposite paper exhibiting effective electromagnetic shielding and multifunctionality

As wearable electronic devices are rapidly developing,there is an urgent need for lightweight,flexible,and ultrathin multifunctional electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding ***,the flexible ultrathin paper that combines efficient shielding and multifunctional integration remains a considerable ***,a novel Mxene/Fe_(3)O_(4)@CNTs/TOCNF(MCT,Mxene=transition metal carbide/carbonitride,CNTs=carbon nanotubes,TOCNF=TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofiber,TEMPO=2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical)nanocomposite paper with a multilayer electromagnetic gradient structure and electromagnetic dual losses was successfully prepared by a simple filtration *** from effective gradient design and adjusting the proportion of TOCNF,the composite paper(only 18μm)exhibits outstanding shielding effectiveness(sE)of 66 dB in the x-band,ultrahigh thickness-specific sE and surface-specific sE values of 3300 dB·mm-1 and 31,428 dB·cm^(2)·g^(-1)***,dehydroxylation treatment improves MCT paper's hydrophobicity,environmental stability,and mechanical strength,expanding its range of ***,the highly efficient Joule heating properties and hydrophobicity provide MCT additional de-icing *** also simulated the electromagnetic shielding effects of MCT composite paper,which was applied in *** study documents an innovative and intriguing material combination,providing a simple and effective manufacturing strategy for developing EMI shielding *** paper is highly suitable for outdoor portable or wearable electronic devices and has significant application potential in humid/severe cold environments.

Accelerating lithium-sulfur battery reaction kinetics and inducing 3D deposition of Li_(2)s using interactions between Fe_(3)se_(4)and lithium polysulfides

Although lithium-sulfur batteries(LsBs)exhibit high theoretical energy density,their practical application is hindered by poor conductivity of the sulfur cathode,the shuttle effect,and the irreversible deposition of Li_(2)*** address these issues,a novel composite,using electrospinning technology,consisting of Fe_(3)se_(4)and porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers was designed for the interlayer of *** porous carbon nanofiber structure facilitates the transport of ions and electrons,while the Fe_(3)se_(4)material adsorbs lithium polysulfides(LiPss)and accelerates its catalytic conversion ***,the Fe_(3)se_(4)material interacts with soluble LiPss to generate a new polysulfide intermediate,Li_(x)Fes_(y)complex,which changes the electrochemical reaction pathway and facilitates the three-dimensional deposition of Li_(2)s,enhancing the reversibility of *** designed LsB demonstrates a high specific capacity of1529.6 mA h g^(-1)in the first cycle at 0.2 *** rate performance is also excellent,maintaining an ultra-high specific capacity of 779.7 mA h g^(-1)at a high rate of 8 *** investigation explores the mechanism of the interaction between the interlayer and LiPss,and provides a new strategy to regulate the reaction kinetics and Li_(2)s deposition in LsBs.

A series of palladium-modified(Pd-modified)CuO-ZnO-Al_(2)O_(3)(CZA)catalysts with various Pd loadings(0.3 wt%to 2.4 wt%)were prepared using the wetness impregnation method,on two CZA supports with different structures that are CZA-aged precursor composed of a mixture of zincian-malachite and hydrotalcite-like phases(CZA-zh),and CuO-ZnO-Al_(2)O_(3)metal oxide nanoparticles(CZA-MO).Enhancement on catalytic activity can be observed on both Pd-modified CZA catalysts in a temperature range of 180-240℃for methanol synthesis via CO_(2)***/CZA-zh catalysts exhibited a more efficient and stable production of methanol at a relatively low reaction temperature of 180℃for 100 hrs of *** improvement of activity is mainly ascribed to a higher surface area and abundant oxygen-containing functional groups(e.g.,-Oh)of CZA-zh support,which is beneficial for better adsorption and distribution of Pd *** temperature programmed reduction and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results demonstrated a better interaction between Pd and Cu on Pd/CZA-zh catalysts via enhanced reducibility of CuO,and peak shift of Cu to a lower binding *** difference in the efficient utilization of hydrogen spillover effect of Pd promoter over two CZA supports resulted in the different performances for methanol synthesis under mild reaction co℃nditions.

Implications of agricultural success in the yellow River Basin and its strategy for green development

The yellow River Basin is an important food production area and an ecological challenge for China, where environmental protection and water scarcity are the major constraints. For the upper reaches of the yellow River Basin,optimizing the adoption of chemicals in agricultural production and integrating crops with livestock are the key strategies for protecting the *** dryland agriculture in the middle and upper reaches, this study summarizes four aspects of efficient precipitation techniques in terms of collection,storage, conservation, and use, which have greatly improved crop yields and supported dryland crop production. Irrigated agriculture in the middle and lower reaches is the core area of China's grain production, where the area under water-saving irrigation reached 13.0 Mha in 2018, greatly improving water use. Compared with 1998, cereal production in 2018 increased by 62.2 Mt under similar total water withdrawals(49.7 billion to 51.6 billion m~3),and the annual soil erosion at the Tongguan hydrological Observatory reduced by 584 million m~3 in 2018, achieving great success in environmental protection and efficient water use. The Chinese government has set a goal for the yellow River Basin to become the national leader in environmental protection and efficient water use by 2035. such a high demand requires the combined efforts of the whole community, as well as the adoption of new technologies,coordinated basin-wide development, and adequate policy support.

It is crucial to prepare high-mobility organic polycrystalline film through solution ***,the delocalized carrier transport of polycrystalline films in organic semiconductors has rarely been investigated through hall-effect *** study presents a strategy for building strong intermolecular interactions to fabricate solution-crystallized p-type perylene diimide（PDI） dianion films with a closer intermolecular π-π stacking distance of 3.25 ?.The highly delocalized carriers enable a competitive hall mobility of 3 cm2V-1s-1,comparable to that of the reported high-mobility organic single *** PDI dianion films exhibit a high electrical conductivity of 17 s cm-1and typical band-like transport,as evidenced by the negative temperature linear coefficient of mobility proportional to T-3/*** work demonstrates that,as the intermolecular π-π interactions become strong enough,they will display high mobility and conductivity,providing a new approach to developing high-mobility organic semiconductor materials.

Nuclear isomers play essential roles in various fields,including stellar nucleosynthesis,nuclear clocks,nuclear batteries,clean nuclear energy,and-ray *** technological advances in high-intensity lasers have made it possible to excite or de-excite nuclear isomers using table-top laser *** a particle-in-cell code,we investigate the interaction of a laser with a nanowire array and calculate the production rates of the^(73m)Ge(E_(1)=13.3 keV)and^(107m)Ag(E_(1)=93.1 keV)***^(73m1)Ge,production by Coulomb excitation is found to contribute a peak efficiency of 1.0×10^(19) particles s^(−1)J^(−1),while nuclear excitation by electron capture(NEEC)contributes a peak of 1.65×10^(11)particles s^(−1)J^(−1).These results indicate a high isomeric production ratio,as well as demonstrating the potential for confirming the existence of NEEC,a long-expected but so far experimentally unobserved fundamental process.

Regulating interfacial behavior of zinc metal anode via metal-organic framework functionalized separator

Aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs)are one of the promising energy storage ***,uncontrolled dendrite and side reactions have seriously hindered its further *** this study,the metal-organic framework(MOF)functionalized glass fiber separator(GF-PFC-31)was used to regulate interfacial behavior of zinc metal anode,enabling the development of high-performance *** PFC-31,there areπ-πinteractions between two adjacent benzene rings with a spacing of 3.199 *** spacing can block the passage of[Zn(h_(2)O)_6]^(2+)(8.6 A in diameter)through the GF-PFC-31 separator to a certain extent,which promotes the deposition process of Zn *** addition,the sulfonic acid group(-s03h)contained in GF-PFC-31 can form a hydrogen bonding network with h_(2)O,which can provide a desolvation effect and reduce the side ***,GF-PFC-31 separator achieves uniform deposition of Zn *** Zn‖GF-PFC-31‖Zn symmetric cell exhibits stable cycle life(3000 h at 1.2 mA cm^(-2),2000 h at 0.3 mA cm^(-2),and 2000 h at 5.0 mA cm^(-2)),and Zn‖GF-PFC-31‖MnO_(2) full cell with GF-PFC-31 separator can cycle for 1000 cycles at 1.2 A g^(-1)with capacity retention rate of 82.5%.This work provides a promising method to achieve high-performance AZIBs.

highly Conductive Ag/pCF/MVQ Composite Rubber for Efficient Electromagnetic Interference shielding

In this study,flexible and highly conductive composite rubber at low filler content was successfully prepared through polydopamine-assisted electroless silver plating plus mechanical ***,carbon fibers(CF)were activated by polydopamine(PDA)to improve the surface activity by self-polymerization ***,because of the metal chelating ability of PDA,silver layer was firmly deposited on the surface of CF through a facile electroless silver plating ***,flexible silver-plated carbon fibers(Ag/pCF)silicone rubber composites prepared by mechanical *** using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(xPs)and x-ray diffraction(xRD),the chemical composition and crystal structure of Ag/pCF were examined,and scanning electron microscopy(sEM)was used to assess the surface morphology of the Ag/*** results showed that a uniform and dense silver layer was formed on the surface of the CF,and the conductivity of the Ag/pCF could reach 7885 s/*** was noteworthy that the composite rubber filled with only 45 phr Ag/pCF had a high electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(100 dB)due to the low density and high aspect ratio of Ag/*** composite rubber has excellent potential for application in the field of electromagnetic interference shielding.
