Zinc-air batteries(ZABs)are gaining attention as an ideal option for various applications requiring high-capacity batteries,such as portable electronics,electric vehicles,and renewable energy *** offer advantages such as low environmental impact,enhanced safety compared to Li-ion batteries,and cost-effectiveness due to the abundance of ***,early research faced challenges due to parasitic reactions at the zinc anode and slow oxygen redox *** advancements in restructuring the anode,utilizing alternative electrolytes,and developing bifunctional oxygen catalysts have significantly improved *** have achieved battery reversibility over thousands of cycles,introduced new electrolytes,and achieved energy efficiency records surpassing 70%.Despite these achievements,there are challenges related to lower power density,shorter lifespan,and air electrode corrosion leading to performance *** review paper discusses different battery configurations,and reaction mechanisms for electrically and mechanically rechargeable ZABs,and proposes remedies to enhance overall battery *** paper also explores recent advancements,applications,and the future prospects of electrically/mechanically rechargeable ZABs.

how the physical inactivity is affected by social-, economic- and physical-environmental factors: an exploratory study using the machine learning approach

here,we report a mixed GAI and MAI(MGM)treatment method by forming a 2D alternating-cation-interlayer(ACI)phase(n=2)perovskite layer on the 3D perovskite,modulating the bulk and interfacial defects in the perovskite films simultaneously,leading to the suppressed nonradiative recombination,longer lifetime,higher mobility,and reduced trap ***,the devices’performance is enhanced to 24.5%and 18.7%for 0.12 and 64 cm^(2),*** addition,the MGM treatment can be applied to a wide range of perovskite compositions,including MA-,FA-,MAFA-,and CsFAMA-based lead halide perovskites,making it a general method for preparing efficient perovskite solar *** encapsulation,the treated devices show improved stabilities.

sPAD Value Difference between Blueberry Cultivar ‘sTAR’ by Planted Ground and Pot

In the smart farm,we can control every detail for *** every factor that affects the crop’s final yield is necessary to optimize its *** sPAD values were observed in the‘star’cultivar blueberry(Vaccinium darrowii)three times a day and at three different plant *** pattern of sPAD value change was different by the planting *** planted blueberry(***)represented a stable sPAD value during the day and at the different ***,the sPAD value was increased by time in pot-planted blueberry(***).Also,the sPAD value of pot-planted blueberry was lower than ground planted blueberry(***).Even when plants were of the same cultivar and age,planting conditions affected the changing pattern of sPAD in a *** planting condition had ***,proper management is needed to compensate sPAD value in pot-planted blueberry(***).This study suggests that environmental conditions like planting factors affect the final ***,to maximize the efficiency at the smart farm,the factors that could affect the final yield should be investigated and accumulated.

ATF6 aggravates apoptosis in early porcine embryonic development by regulating organelle homeostasis under high-temperature conditions

Activating transcription factor 6(ATF6),one of the three sensor proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum(ER),is an important regulator of ER stress-induced ***6 resides in the ER and,upon activation,is translocated to the Golgi apparatus,where it is cleaved by site-1 protease(s1P)to generate an amino-terminal cytoplasmic *** recent studies have made progress in elucidating the regulatory mechanisms of ATF6,its function during early porcine embryonic development under high-temperature(hT)stress remains *** this study,zygotes were divided into four groups:control,hT,hT+ATF6 knockdown,and hT+PF(s1P inhibitor).Results showed that hT exposure induced ER stress,which increased ATF6 protein expression and led to a decrease in the blastocyst ***,ATF6 expression was knocked down in hT embryos under microinjection of ATF6 double-stranded RNA(dsRNA).Results revealed that ATF6 knockdown(ATF6-KD)attenuated the increased expression of ChOP,an ER stress marker,and Ca2+release induced by *** addition,ATF6-KD alleviated homeostasis dysregulation among organelles caused by hT-induced ER stress,and further reduced Golgi apparatus and mitochondrial dysfunction in hT ***2 is an important downstream effector of *** showed that ATF6-KD reduced the occurrence of AIFM2-mediated embryonic apoptosis at *** together,our findings suggest that ATF6 is a crucial mediator of apoptosis during early porcine embryonic development,resulting from hT-induced ER stress and disruption of organelle homeostasis.

BACKGROUND Bone marrow(BM)suppression is one of the most common side effects of radiotherapy and the primary cause of death following exposure to *** concerted efforts,there is no definitive treatment method *** studies have reported using mesenchymal stromal cells(MsCs),but their therapeutic effects are *** We administered and examined the effects of various amounts of adipose-derived MsCs(ADsCs)in mice with radiation-induced BM *** Mice were divided into three groups:Normal control group,irradiated(RT)group,and stem cell-treated group following whole-body irradiation(WBI).Mouse ADsCs(mADsCs)were transplanted into the peritoneal cavity either once or three times at 5×10^(5) cells/200μ*** white blood cell count and the levels of,plasma cytokines,BM mRNA,and BM surface markers were compared between the three *** BM-derived CD34+hematopoietic progenitor cells were co-cultured with human ADsCs(hADsCs)or incubated in the presence of hADsCs conditioned media to investigate the effect on human cells in *** The survival rate of mice that received one transplant of mADsCs was higher than that of mice that received three *** transplantations of ADsCs delayed the repopulation of BM hematopoietic stem ***-inflammatory effects and M2 polarization by intraperitoneal ADsCs might suppress erythropoiesis and induce myelopoiesis in sub-lethally RT *** The results suggested that an optimal amount of MsCs could improve survival rates post-WBI.

snowstorm over the southwestern Coast of the Korean Peninsula Associated with the Development of Mesocyclone over the Yellow sea

This study investigates the characteristics of a heavy snowfall event over the southwestern part of the Korean Peninsula on 4 December 2005. The snowstorm was a type of mesoscale maritime cyclone which resulted from barotropic instability, and diabatic heating from the warm ocean in continental polar air masses. Based on surface observations, radiosonde soundings, MTsAT-1R satellite data and the 10-km grid RDAPs （Regional Assimilation and Prediction system based on the PsU/NCAR MM5） data, the evolution of the mesocyclone is explained by the following dynamics; （1） In the initial stage, the primary role in the cyclogenesis process of the mesocyclone is a barotropic instability in the horizontal shear zone. （2） In the developing stage, the mesocyclone moves and deepens into a baroclinic zone corresponding to the surface heating and moistening. （3） In the mature stage, it is found that the mesocyclone is intensified by the destabilization caused by enhanced low-level heating and condensation, the moisture flux convergence, and the interaction between upper and lower-level potential vorticity anomalies. We suggest that a checklist with stepwise indicators responsible for development be prepared for the forecasting of heavy snowfall over the southwestern part of the Korean Peninsula.
