Mapping sea Level Rise Behavior in an Estuarine Delta system：A Case study along the shanghai Coast

sea level rise （sLR） is a major projected threat of climate change that is expected to affect developing coastal cities located in estuarine delta regions, shanghai is one such city, being located in the Yangtze River Delta （YRD）, It is difficult, however, for decision-makers to implement adaptation due to the uncer- tain causes, magnitudes, and timings of sLR behaviors, This paper attempts to map the causes and mag- nitudes of sLR behaviors on a decadal scale, We analyze the tidal level records from 11 tidal gauge stations and the corresponding bathymetry measurements around these stations since 1921, We identify three new sLR behaviors along the shanghai coast due to anthropogenic geomorphologic changes （AGCs）, besides the well-known eustatic sea level rise （EsLR）, tectonic subsidence （Ts）, and urban land subsidence （ULs）, The first new behavior is regional sea level rise （RsLR）, which occurs as a result of land reclamation and deep waterway regulation, The second is regional sea level fall （RsLF）, which occurs because the channel bed is eroded due to sediment supply decline in the river catchment, The last sLR behavior is local tidal datum rise （LTDR）. Thus, we project that the magnitude of sLR for the shanghai coast ranges from 10 cm to 16 cm from 2011 to 2030, Clarifying sLR behaviors is important to aid local decision- makers in planning structural and non-structural measures to combat escalating flood damage costs in an estuarine delta system; this field is full of future challenges,

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are highly favored for grid-level energy storage owing to their low cost and high safety,but their practical application is limited by slow ion *** address this,a strategy has been developed to create a cation-accelerating electric field on the surface of the cathode to achieve ultrafast Zn2+diffusion *** employing electrodeposition to coat Mos2on the surface of BaV6O16·3h2O nanowires,the directional built-in electric field generated at the heterointerface acts as a cation accelerator,continuously accelerating Zn2+diffusion into the active *** optimized Zn2+diffusion coefficient in CC@BaV-6O16·3h2O@Mos2(7.5×10～8cm2s-1) surpasses that of most reported V-based ***,Mos2serving as a cathodic armor extends the cycling life of the Zn-CC@BaV6O16·3h2O@Mos2full batteries to over 10000 *** work provides valuable insights into optimizing ion diffusion kinetics for high-performance energy storage devices.

Fluorinated poly(p-triphenylene isatin) anion exchange membranes based on hydrophilic hydroxyl side chain modulation for fuel cells

The development of alkaline fuel cells is moving forward at an accelerated pace,and the application of ether-free bonded polymers to anion exchange membranes （AEMs） has been widely ***,the question of the“trade-off”between AEM ionic conductivity and dimensional stability remains *** strategy of inducing microphase separation to improve the performance of AEM has attracted much attention recently,but the design of optimal molecular structures is still being ***,this work introduced different ratios of 3-bromo-1,1,1-trifluoroacetone （x=40,50,and 60） into the main chain of poly（p-terphenylene isatin）.Because fluorinated groups.h.ve excellent hydrophobicity,hydrophilic hydroxyl-containing side chains are introduced to jointly adjust the formation of phase separation *** results show that PTI-PTF50-NOh AEM with the appropriate fluorinated group ratio has the best ionic conductivity and alkali stability under the combined effect of *** has an ionic conductivity of 133.83 ms cm-1at 80°*** addition,the Oh-conductivity remains at 89%of the initial value at 80°C and 3 M KOh for 1056 h of *** cell polarization curve based on PTI-PTF50-NOh shows a power density of 734.76 mW cm-2at a current density of 1807.7 mA cm-2.

In 1994, Grove, Kocic, Ladas, and Levin conjectured that the local stability and global stability conditions of the fixed point -y= 1/2 in the genotype selection model should be equivalent. In this article, we give an affirmative answer to this conjecture and prove that local stability implies global stability. some illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the results.

Dynamic modeling of a three-dimensional braided composite thin plate considering braiding directions

Currently, there are a limited number of dynamic models available for braided composite plates with large overall motions, despite the incorporation of three-dimensional(3D) braided composites into rotating blade components. In this paper, a dynamic model of 3D 4-directional braided composite thin plates considering braiding directions is established. Based on Kirchhoff's plate assumptions, the displacement variables of the plate are expressed. By incorporating the braiding directions into the constitutive equation of the braided composites, the dynamic model of the plate considering braiding directions is obtained. The effects of the speeds, braiding directions, and braided angles on the responses of the plate with fixed-axis rotation and translational motion, respectively, are investigated. This paper presents a dynamic theory for calculating the deformation of 3D braided composite structures undergoing both translational and rotational motions. It also provides a simulation method for investigating the dynamic behavior of non-isotropic material plates in various applications.

self-propagating high temperature synthesis of Mosi_2 matrix composites

Mosi2 is presently regarded as the most important material for electrical heating and as one with huge potential for high temperature structural uses. Mosi2 and Mosi2 matrix composites were prepared by self-propagating high temperature synthesis （shs）. Pure Mosi2 was obtained and a compound of Mosi2 and Wsi2was synthesized in the form of predominant solid solution （Mo,W）si2. By adding aluminum of 5.5 at.% to Mo-si, the crystal structure of Mosi2 changed into a mixture of tetragonal Cllb Mosi2and hexagonal C40 Mo（si,Al）2. The （Mo,W）si2-Mo（si,Al）2-W（si,Al）2 composite materials were synthesized by adding aluminum of 5.5 at.% to Mo-W-si. however, if the amount of the added aluminum was not larger than 2.5 at.%, it did not have any significant effect. shs is an effective technology for synthesis of Mosi2 and Mosi2 matrix composites.

Boosting hydrocarbon conversion via Cu-doping induced oxygen vacancies on CeO2 in CO2 electroreduction

Conversion of CO2back to hydrocarbons is the most direct way of closing the“carbon cycle”,and its significance is further enlarged if this process is driven by renewable energies such as ***,precisely controlling the product selectivity towards.h.drocarbons against the competitive hydrogen evolution remains challenging,especially for Cu-based ***,we report a novel defect engineering strategy,by which Cu-doping-induced oxygen vacancies on CeO2nanorods were effectively created,with adjustable vacancy/Cu *** resulting optimum catalyst shows up to 79% catalytic current density to hydrocarbons （excluding CO）,with 49% faradaic efficiency to *** and density functional theory unveil that the ratio between oxygen vacancy and Cu affects significantly the formation of*ChO and activation of h2O,which leads to the following deep hydrogenation to *** findings may spur new insights for designing and developing more controllable chemical process relevant to CO2utilization.
