Patient tracking in earthquake emergency response in Iran： A qualitative study

BACKGROUND: After a disaster, all victims.h.ve to be rapidly and accurately identified for locating, tracking and regulating them. The purpose of this study was to summarize people's experiences that how the patients were tracked in past earthquake disasters in ***: A qualitative study was carried out in 2015. This was an interview-based qualitative study using content analysis. The interviewed people included physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, disaster managers, Red Crescent society' first responders and managers. Participants were identified using a snow ball sampling method. Interviews were audiotaped, transcribed, coded, and entered into MAXQDA(version 10) for coding and content ***: Three main themes and seven categories including content(recoding data), function(identification of victims, identification of the deceased, informing the patients' relatives, patients' evacuation and transfer, and statistical reporting), technology(the state of using technology) were identifi ed that showed the patient tracking status in past earthquakes in ***: Participants believed that to identify and register the data related to patients or the dead, no consistent action plan was available. so developing a consistent patient tracking system could overcome this issue and improve patient safety.

Optical fibre networks are advancing rapidly to meet growing traffic *** issues,including attack management,have become increasingly important for optical communication networks because of the vulnerabilities associated with tapping light from optical fibre *** layer security often requires restricting access to channels and periodic inspections of link *** this paper,we report how quantum communication techniques can be utilized to detect a physical layer *** present an efficient method for monitoring the physical layer security of a high-data-rate classical optical communication network using a modulated continuous-variable quantum *** describe the theoretical and experimental underpinnings of this monitoring system and the monitoring accuracy for different monitored *** analyse its performance for both unamplified and amplified optical *** technique represents a novel approach for applying quantum signal processing to practical optical communication networks and compares well with classical monitoring *** conclude by discussing the challenges facing its practical application,its differences with respect to existing quantum key distribution methods,and its usage in future secure optical transport network planning.

Tropical pyomyositis is an underdiagnosed *** reported a 35 year old male farmer,who presented with septicemia and acute respiratory distress syndrome due to pyomyositis involving the paraspinal *** of the pus grew methicillin sensitive staphylococcus aureus, and the patient recovered after surgical drainage and antibiotic treatment Diagnostic delays can be avoided if tropical pyomyositis is considered as a differential diagnosis in patients with septicemia.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is strongly associated with the metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes and independently contributes to long-term *** often asymptomatic but reversible,it would require population-wide screening,but direct diagnostics are either too invasive(liver biopsy),costly(MRI)or depending on the examiner’s expertise(ultrasonography).hepatosteatosis is usually accommodated by features of the metabolic syndrome(***,disturbances in triglyceride and glucose metabolism),and signs of hepatocellular damage,all of which are reflected by biomarkers,which poorly predict NAFLD as single item,but provide a cheap diagnostic alternative when integrated into composite liver fat *** liver index,NAFLD LFs,and hepatic steatosis index are common and accurate indices for NAFLD prediction,but show limited accuracy for liver fat *** indices are rarely *** fibrosis scores are commonly used in clinical practice,but their mandatory reflection of fibrotic reorganization,hepatic injury or systemic sequelae reduces sensitivity for the diagnosis of simple ***-induced liver fat changes are poorly reflected by liver fat indices,depending on the intervention and its specific impact of weight loss on *** limited va.idity in longitudinal settings stimulates research for new ***,hepatokines,markers of cellular integrity,genetic variants but also simple and inexpensive routine parameters might be potential ***,liver fat indices lack precision for NAFLD prediction or monitoring in individual patients,but in large cohorts they may substitute nonexistent imaging data and serve as a compound biomarker of metabolic syndrome and its cardiometabolic sequelae.

Objective:To document movement patterns.h.me range,nesting behaviour and social organization of 5 individuals(3 males and 2 females) of a common species of tree-shrew,Tupaia glis(***) surrounding houses of otoacariasis ***:Each shrew was fitted with a transmitter chip radio-collar which operates between the frequencies of 154.13 Mhz to 154.21 *** transmitter was then tracked with a Portable Telemetry Receiver(sirtrack,New Zealand) fitted with a 3-element Yagi *** shrews were located using standard methods of ground-based *** location was taken from at least 2 directional fixes and a minimum of 3 compass *** were taken hourly for each collared individual from the time of emergence from nest(beginning of activity) till time of entry into the nest(end of activity) every day for 5 to 7 continuous *** series of radio telemetry observations were carried *** bearings,time and positions of an observer were recorded and later plotted on a graph paper in order to derive coordinates of the collared animal.[These coordinates then analyzed using Ecological software solutions(Biotas Version 1.03)].Results:Nests were found in a jack fruit tree,long bushes,and 2 *** telemetry detections demonstrated 2 individuals of different sex having nests(or a nest) in the same *** shrews emerged from and returned to their nests between 0601 to 0659 hours and 1901 to 1959 hours,respectively. Both the time of exit from and entry into nest were the same between sexes(P>0.05).Their average total active period was 4.90 to 7.00 hours with a total daily travel distant of 270 m to 382 m.A male and a female shrew can move as far as 3 285 m and 4 591 m,*** movements of *** were during *** regularly entered some houses in the area during day and night except for one individual which visited during daytime *** sizes of home range and core area for the shrews were 2.00-3.40 ha and 0.05-0.4

Aims In cool-season grasses,systemic and vertically transmitted Epichloëinfections often provide a suite of benefits including increased growth,reproduction and competitive ***,these effects of Epichloëendophytes on their hosts often depend upon host and endophyte genotype and environmental *** Achnatherum robustum(sleepygrass.h.rbors at least two Epichloëspecies within natural populations in the southwest *** tested the effects of endophyte infection and species.h.st population and plant genotype(by experimentally removing the endophyte),and soil moisture(a key limiting factor)on growth and drought stress response of infected *** plants from two populations(Weed and Cloudcroft)in the sacremento mountains of New mexico,UsA).Important Findingsalthough the two populations.h.rbor distinct Epichloëspecies each with very different chemoprofiles,neither endophyte status(infected ***)nor endophyte species affected most growth param-eters at 8 or 25 weeks of the experiment,except for leaf *** high water treatment,infected plants from the Weed population had longer leaf length compared with uninfected *** contrast,the population of origin affected all growth parameters,including plant height,leaf number,length and width,tiller number and shoot and root biomass,as well as wilting *** from the Cloudcroft population generally showed greater growth than grasses from the Weed *** infection did affect wilting time,with infection in the Weed population generally reducing time to wilting under low and high water,whereas infection in the Cloudcroft population reduced time to wilting only under high water *** results suggest that plant population and their associated plant genotypes may play a much larger role in endophyte-host grass interactions in varying environments than previously *** Epichloëspecies may be compatible with only specific host genotypes within populations such

Ptychographic extreme ultraviolet(EUV)diffractive imaging has emerged as a promising candidate for the next generationmetrology solutions in the semiconductor industry,as it can image wafer samples in reflection geometry at the *** technique has surged attention recently,owing to the significant progress in high-harmonic generation(hhG)EUV sources and advancements in both hardware and software for *** this study,a novel algorithm is introduced and tested,which enables wavelength-multiplexed reconstruction that enhances the measurement throughput and introduces data diversity,allowing the accurate characterisation of sample *** tackle the inherent instabilities of the hhG source,a modal approach was adopted,which represents the crossdensity function of the illumination by a series of mutually incoherent and independent spatial *** proposed algorithm was implemented on a mainstream machine learning platform,which leverages automatic differentiation to manage the drastic growth in model complexity and expedites the computation using GPU *** optimising over 2oo million parameters,we demonstrate the algorithm's capacity to accommodate experimental uncertainties and achieve a resolution approaching the diffraction limit in reflection *** reconstruction of wafer samples with 20-nm high patterned gold structures on a silicon substrate highlights our ability to handle complex physical interrelations involving a multitude of *** results establish ptychography as an efficient and accurate metrology tool.
