Many researches from both theoretical and experimental perspectives have been performed to search for a new Higgs Boson that is lighter than the 125 GeV Higgs boson,which was discovered at the LHC in *** this study,we explore the possibility of constraining a lighter neutral custodial fiveplet scalar H_(5)^(0) in the GeorgiMachacek(GM) model using the latest results of the search for a lighter Higgs boson decaying into two photons from LHC *** custodial-singlet mass eigenstate h or H is considered to be the LHC observed 125 GeV Higgs boson.A new set of constrained parameters that is favoured by low-mass H_(5)^(0) is proposed to generate events *** production of H_(5)^(0) from a scan based on the constrained parameters is compared to the latest results of the search for a lighter Higgs boson decaying into two photons by the CMs Collaboration after applying theoretical constraints from the GM model and constraints from all existing relevant experimental measurements,including the recent results of the Higgs boson searches by the *** analyses of the surviving GM parameter space are *** tendencies and correlations of the GM input parameters from phenomenological studies are *** addition,the discovery potential of the other interesting decay channels of this low-mass neutral custodial fiveplet scalar are discussed.

The CMs and ATLAs experiments at the LHC have announced the discovery of a Higgs boson with mass at approximately 125 GeV/c2 in the search for the standard Model Higgs boson via, notably, the 2/y and ZZ to four leptons final states. Considering the recent results of the Higgs boson searches from the LHC, we study the lightest scalar Higgs boson hi in the Next-to-Minimal supersymmetric standard Model by restricting the next-to- lightest scalar Higgs boson h2 to be the observed to the 125 GeV/c2 state. We perform a scan over the relevant NMssM parameter space that is favoured by low fine-tuning considerations. Moreover, we also take the experimental constraints from direct searches, B-physics observables, relic density, and anomalous magnetic moment of the muon measurements, as well as the theoretical considerations, into account in our specific scan. We find that the signal rate in the two-photon final state for the NMssM Higgs boson hi with the mass range from about 80 GeV/e2 to about 122 CeV/c2 can be enhanced by a factor of up to 3.5 when the Higgs boson h2 is required to be compatible with the excess from latest LHC results. This motivates the extension of the search at the LHC for the Higgs boson hi in the diphoton final state down to masses of 80 GeV/c2, particularly with the upcoming proton-proton collision data to be taken at center-of-mass energies of 13-14 TeV.

The success of catalytic schemes for the large-scale valorization of CO_(2) does not only depend on the development of active,selective and stable catalytic materials but also on the overall process *** we present a multidisciplinary study(from catalyst to plant and techno-economic/lifecycle analysis)for the production of green methanol from renewable H2 and CO_(2).We combine an in-depth kinetic analysis of one of the most promising recently reported methanol-synthesis catalysts(InCo)with a thorough process simulation and techno-economic *** then perform a life cycle assessment of the simulated process to gauge the real environmental impact of green methanol production from CO_(2).Our results indicate that up to 1.75 ton of CO_(2) can be abated per ton of produced methanol only if renewable energy is used to run the process,while the sensitivity analysis suggest that either rock-bottom H2 prices(1.5$kg1)or severe CO_(2) taxation(300$per ton)are needed for a profitable methanol ***,we herein highlight and analyze some critical bottlenecks of the *** attention has been paid to the contribution of H2 to the overall plant costs,CH4 trace formation,and purity and costs of raw *** addition to providing important information for policy makers and industrialists,directions for catalyst(and therefore process)improvements are outlined.

Recent proteogenomic approaches have led to the discovery that regions of the transcriptome previously annotated as non-coding regions[i.e.,untranslated regions(UTRs),open reading frames overlapping annotated coding sequences in a different reading frame,and non-coding RNAs]frequently encode proteins,termed alternative proteins(altProts).This suggests that previously identified protein–protein interaction(PPI)networks are partially incomplete because altProts are not present in conventional protein ***,we used the proteogenomic resource OpenProt and a combined spectrum-and peptide-centric analysis for the re-analysis of a highthroughput human network proteomics dataset,thereby revealing the presence of 261 altProts in the *** found 19 genes encoding both an annotated(reference)and an alternative protein interacting with each *** the 117 altProts encoded by pseudogenes,38 are direct interactors of reference proteins encoded by their respective parental ***,we experimentally validate several interactions involving *** data improve the blueprints of the human PPI network and suggest functional roles for hundreds of altProts.

High spin states of the odd proton nucleus 123I have been populated in the reaction 116Cd(14N, 5n2p) at a beam energy of 65MeV. Two previously known positive-parity ΔI = 2 sequences have been extended up to 31/2+ and 41/2+. In addition, a number of ΔI = 1 transitions linking the two ΔI = 2 sequences have been observed. It is suggested that both the ΔI = 2 sequences are built upon the oblate πg7/2[404]7/2+ Nilsson configuration.

The production of ■baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV is measured in the transverse-momentum range 4sed in this measurement correspond to an integrated luminosity of 1.7fb^-1,recorded by the LHCb experiment during *** ratio of the ■ production cross-section times the branching fraction of the■→∧^+cK^-π^+ π^+decay relative to the prompt ∧^+c production cross-section is found to be(2.22±0.27±0.29)×10^-4,assuming the central value of the measured lifetime,where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

A search for the doubly charmed baryon ■^+cc is performed through its decay to theΛ^+c K^-π^+ final state,using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 *** data correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^-*** significant signal is observed in the mass range from 3.4 to 3.8 GeV/c^*** limits are set at 95%credibility level on the ratio of the ■^+cc production cross-section times the branching fraction to that ofΛ^+c and ■^++cc *** limits are determined as functions of the ■^+cc mass for different lifetime hypotheses,in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and the transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c.
