A colliding microjet liquid sheet target system was developed and tested for pairs of round nozzles of 10,11 and 18μm in *** sheet's position stability was found to be better than a few *** interaction with 50 mJ laser pulses,the 18μm jet has a resonance amplitude of 16μm at a repetition rate of 33 Hz,while towards 100 Hz it converges to 10μm for all nozzles.A white-light interferometric system was developed to measure the liquid sheet thickness in the target chamber both in air and in vacuum,with a measurement range of 182 nm±1μm and an accuracy of±3%.The overall shape and 3D shape of the sheet follow the Hasson±Peck model in *** vacuum versus air,the sheet gradually loses 10%of its thickness,so the thinnest sheet achieved was below 200 nm at a vacuum level of 10±4mbar,and remained stable for several hours of operation.

Highly specific interactions between biomolecules,such as antigen-antibody,protein-ligand,or nucleic acid base pair complementary are on the basis of the organization of complex *** same principles may be tentatively used in molecular medicine for diagnosis and therapeutics.A molecule can be designed to selectively bind a protease and thereby inhibit the production of a peptide that forms toxic aggregates in the brain or an antibody may be produced to bind specifically to that peptide for detection or clearance ***,interference in biological systems is not that *** a start there is the inhibition of the physiological role of the protease;moreover,several cleavage fragments may be produced,which may continue to diverge due to putative post-translational modification and self-assembly processes,hiding the toxic target in a“soup”of peptide species varying in size,structure and chemical composition.A perspective of the current status and challenges in targeting peptide species for diagnosis and treatment in the context of Alzheimer’s disease is given.

Motivated by the recent experimental results of branching fractions for D^(+)_(s)→η^(′)l+v_(l) decays,which deviate from their sM predictions,we hve investigated these decays in W' model and scalar leptoquark model to determine potential signatures of new physics(NP) in semileptonic charm decays induced by c→(s,d)l+v_(l) *** recent experimental results of branching fractions for semileptonic D meson decays,new coupling parameters are predicted for the aforementioned NP *** fraction,forward-backward asymmetry,and lepton polarization asymmetry are examined by considering the predicted NP coupling *** results of branching fractions in scalar leptoquark model are found very close to the experimental results and exist around the range of 1σ *** presented a comparative study of the NP models to check their sensitivity on these *** anticipate that further research on these decays will significantly support our findings.

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Assessing soil quality is essential for crop management and soil temporal changes. The present study aims to evaluate soil quality in the Ferralitic soils context countrywide. This assessment was done using multivariate soil quality indice (sQI) models, such as additive quality index (AQI), weighted quality indexes (WQIsub>addsub> and WQIsub>comsub>) and Nemoro quality index (NQI), applied to two approaches of indicator selection: total data set (TDs) and minimum data set (MDs). Physical and chemical soil indicators were extracted from the ORsTOM’s reports resulting from a sampling campaign in different provinces of gabon. The TDs approach shows soil quality status according to eleven soil indicators extracted from the analysis of 1,059 samples from arable soil layer (0 - 30 cm depth). The results indicated that 87% of all provinces presented a very low soil quality (Q5) whatever the model. Among soil indicators, exchangeable Ksup>+sup> and Mgsup>2+sup>, bulk density and C/N ratio were retained in MDs, using principal component analysis (PCA). In the MDs approach, 50 to 63% of provinces had low soil quality grades with AQI, WQIsub>addsub> and NQI, whereas the total was observed with WQIsub>comsub>. Only 25% of provinces had medium soil quality grades with AQI and NQI models, while 12.5% (NQI) and 25% (AQI) presented high quality grades. Robust statistical analyses confirmed the accuracy and validation (0.80 r P ≤ 0.016) of AQI, WQIsub>addsub> and NQI into the TDs and MDs approaches. The same sensitivity index value (1.53) was obtained with AQI and WQIsub>addsub>. However, WQIsub>addsub> was chosen as the best sQI model, according to its high linear regression value (Rsup>2sup> = 0.82) between TDs and MDs. This study has important implications in decision-making on monitoring, evaluation and sustainable management of gabonese soils in a pedoclimatic context unfavorable to plant growth.

Macroangiopathic Complications and Associated Factors in Type 2 Diabetics at CNHU-HKM

Nowadays, chronic clinical manifestations of diabetemellitus constitute an important disease and a huge public health issue. Aim: study the macroangiopathic complications in type 2 diabetics. Method: It is a descriptive cross-sectional study with an analytical aim covering the period from January 2019 to December 31, 2021 in the Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition clinic of the National Teaching Hospital Hubert Koutoukou Maga (CNHU-HKM) We thus identified 150 type 2 diabetic patients. Results: The prevalence of macroangiopathy was 60% with 11.3% for stroke, 28.6% for acute coronary syndrom, 4% for cervical macroangiopathy, and 46.97% ± 25.36% for obliterating arteriopathy of the lower limbs (OALL). The mean age of the patients was 57.69 ± 1.77 years with a sex ratio 1. The duration of diabetes progression was greater than 10 years for more than half of the patients 52.6%. The main associated cardiovascular risk factors were arterial high blood pressure (64.7%), family history of diabetes (33.7%), obesity with 20.0%. The death rate was 7.3%. Conclusion: Macroangiopathy’s mortality rate of in type 2 diabetics is high. Prevention remains the best treatment and involves screening for factors associated with macroangiopathy.
