Cancer,a multifaceted and diverse ailment,presents formidable obstacles to traditional treatment *** presents novel prospects for surmounting these challenges through its capacity to facilitate meticulous and regulated administration of therapeutic agents to malignant cells while concurrently modulating the immune system to combat *** and their derivatives have emerged as highly versatile and multifunctional platforms for cancer nanotherapy within the realm of *** comprehensive review delves into the multifaceted and groundbreaking implementations of bacterial nanotechnology within cancer *** review encompasses four primary facets:the utilization of bacteria as living conveyors of medicinal substances,the employment of bacterial components as agents that stimulate the immune system,the deployment of bacterial vectors as tools for delivering genetic material,and the development of bacteria-derived nano-drugs as intelligent ***,we elucidate the merits and modalities of operation pertaining to these bacterial nano-systems,along with their capacity to synergize with other cutting-edge nanotechnologies,such as CRIsPR-Cas ***,we offer insightful viewpoints regarding the forthcoming trajectories and prospects within this expanding *** is our deduction that bacterial nanotechnology embodies a propitious and innovative paradigm in the realm of cancer therapy,which has the potential to provide numerous advantages and synergistic effects in enhancing the outcomes and quality of life for individuals afflicted with cancer.

A predictive equation for residual strength using a hybrid of subset selection of maximum dissimilarity method with Pareto optimal multi-gene genetic programming

More accurate and reliable estimation of residual strength friction angle(/r)of clay is crucial in many geotechnical engineering applications,including riverbank stability analysis,design,and assessment of earthen dam slope ***,a general predictive equation for/r,with applicability in a wide range of effective parameters,remains an important research *** goal of this study is to develop a more accurate equation for/r using the Pareto Optimal Multi-gene Genetic Programming(POMGGP)approach by evaluating a comprehensive dataset of 290 experiments compiled from published literature databases worldwide.A new framework for integrated equation derivation proposed that hybridizes the subset selection of Maximum Dissimilarity Method(ssMD)with Multi-gene Genetic Programming(MGP)and Pareto-optimality(PO)to find an accurate equation for/r with wide range *** final predictive equation resulted from POMGGP modeling was assessed in comparison with some previously published machine learning-based equations using statistical error analysis criteria,Taylor diagram,revised discrepancy ratio(RDR),and scatter *** on the results,the POMGGP has the lowest uncertainty with U95=2.25,when compared with Artificial Neural Network(ANN)(U95=2.3),Bayesian Regularization Neural Network(BRNN)(U95=2.94),Levenberg-Marquardt Neural Network(LMNN)(U95=3.3),and Differential Evolution Neural Network(DENN)(U95=2.37).The more reliable results in estimation of/r derived by POMGGP with reliability 59.3%,and resiliency 60%in comparison with ANN(reliability=30.23%,resiliency=28.33%),BRNN(reliability=10.47%,resiliency=10.39%),LMNN(reliability=19.77%,resiliency=20.29%)and DENN(reliability=27.91%,resiliency=24.19%).Besides the simplicity and ease of application of the new POMGGP equation to a broad range of conditions,using the uncertainty,reliability,and resilience analysis confirmed that the derived equation for/r significantly outperformed other existing machine learning

Tracing suspended and bed sediments during high and low water periods using geochemical characteristics-Case study:Vazrood watershed,northern Iran

Complete and comprehensive information about sediment dynamic and identification of hotspots of sediment production and transport are necessary for understanding the erosion processes and increasing the efficiency of soil and water conservation *** studies used the sediment fingerprint techniques to investigate the contribution of different sources in suspended and bed sediment yield of the ***,the contribution of various land use/land covers in suspended and bed sediment yield for the great Caspian sea basin is in an aura of ambiguity and the present study was conducted to gather information about an important part of this area in northern Iran,where rangelands are located upstream of Hyrcanian forests and dense agricultural lands are located *** surface soil of different land use/land covers including forest,rangeland,agriculture and streambank lands were sampled in 30 *** and bed sediments were sampled in the watershed outlet in two high and low water *** characteristics of soil and sediment samples containing 59 elements were measured using ICP-OEs GBC *** reliable and suitable tracers from 59 elements were then selected using Range test,Kruskal-Wallis and Discriminant Function Analysis,respectively,in FingerPro package of R *** results showed that for suspended sediment,streambank and rangeland had the highest contributions of 86.2%and 47.5%,respectively,in two high and low water *** bed sediment,in two high and low water periods,rangeland and streambank had the highest contributions of 73.8%and 84.4%,*** use change and especially human activities such as agriculture,road construction and development of residential areas along the main river riparian zone has led to a significant increase in suspended and bed sediments.

statistical Treatment of Low-Energy Nuclear Level schemes

The level density parameter and the back shift energy E1 are determined for nuclei with A-values across the whole periodic table from fits to complete level schemes at low excitation energy near the neutron binding energies. We find that the energy back shift EI shows complicated behavior and depends on the type of the nucleus, even-even, odd mass, and odd-odd. The spin cut-off factor has also been investigated for nuclei mentioned above. The results are compared with the previous results and different experimental data on level densities.

Temperature profile estimation:A study on the Boberg and Lantz steam stimulation model

Cyclic steam stimulation(Css)is widely used for production from heavy oil reservoirs where oil viscosity is manipulated by *** analytical models have been developed to predict the temperature evolution in the reservoir and estimate the oil ***,they often suffer from a number of assumptions which ultimately reduce their efficiency in providing a realistic *** this study,a numerical solution was proposed for two-dimensional heat conduction in heavy oil reservoirs to obtain the temperature evolution during the soaking *** a better comparison,an industry widely accepted analytical model,knows as the Boberg and Lantz steam stimulation model,together with its modified version later proposed by Bensten and Donohue were considered to examine temperature changes in a synthetic case *** results obtained indicated that the analytical solutions overestimate the average temperature of the reservoir by 42%after 300 days of injection while the numerical formulation can provide a close *** numerical approach could be a useful tool to estimate the temperature and oil production from heavy oil reservoirs.
