We study the dissociation of ψ(3770), ψ(4040), ψ(4160), and ψ(4415) mesons in collision with nucleons, which takes place in high-energy proton-nucleus collisions. The quark interchange between a nucleon and a ■ meson leads to the dissociation of the ■ meson. We consider the reactions:■, and■, where R stands for ψ(3770), ψ(4040), ψ(4160), or ψ(4415). A reaction of a neutron and a ■ meson corresponds to a reaction of a proton and the ■ meson by replacing the up quark with the down quark and vice versa. Transition-amplitude formulas are derived from the s-matrix *** cross sections are calculated with the transition amplitudes for scattering in the prior form and in the post form. The cross sections relate to nodes in the radial wave functions of ψ(3770), ψ(4040), ψ(4160), and ψ(4415) mesons.

We report our identification of three gigaelectronvolt γ-ray sources, 4FGL J0502.6+0036, 4FGL J1055.9+6507,and 4FGL J1708.2+5519, as Active Galactic Nuclei(AGNs). They are listed in the latest Fermi-Large Area Telescope source catalog as unidentified ones. We find that the sources all showed γ-ray flux variations in recent years. Using different survey catalogs, we are able to find a radio source within the error circle of each source's position. Further analysis of optical sources in the fields allows us to determine the optical counterparts, which showed similar variation patterns to those seen in γ-rays. The optical counterparts have reported redshifts of 0.6,1.5, and 2.3, respectively, estimated from photometric measurements. In addition, we also obtain an X-ray spectrum of 4FGL J0502.6+0036 and a flux upper limit on the X-ray emission of 4FGL J1055.9+6507 by analyzing the archival data. The broadband spectral energy distributions of the three sources from radio to γ-rays are constructed. Comparing mainly the γ-ray properties of the three sources with those of different sub-classes of AGNs, we tentatively identify them as blazars. Followup optical spectroscopy is highly warranted for obtaining their spectral features and thus verifying the identification.

Loss and damage caused by extreme climate events have attracted increasing *** 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(hereinafter referred to as the Convention)has agreed to adopt Loss and Damage Fund agreement,which identified the source of funding and the funds to be entrusted to the World ***,there is still ambiguous that how to allocate the funds could accelerate the effectiveness of meeting the needs for developing ***-disaster prevention and preparedness is one of the most effective measures to deal with loss and damage,which closely related to *** studies rarely analyzed quantitatively the financial needs of pre-disaster prevention and preparedness relating to adaptation to reduce loss and *** on the official reports submitted by countries under the Convention,this study analyzes the annual change in the total financial support provided by developed countries to developing countries,the proportion of pre-disaster prevention and preparedness in the adaptation needs of developing countries,and the progress in raising the current annual funding target of 100 billion UsD for developed countries,to reveal the financial and technical challenges facing by developing countries on addressing loss and *** results show that by 2030,the total adaptation financial needs of developing countries are estimated to be about 3.8 trillion UsD,of which pre-disaster prevention matters account for about 9%.Therefore,by 2030,developing countries will need about 342 billion UsD in pre-disaster prevention and preparedness finance to withstand loss and *** addition,developing countries face a lack of technical methods to quantify information about their *** on the above analysis,this study puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,including strengthening the allocation amount of loss and damage fund on pre-disaster warning,prevention and control actions,and

Amyloid beta(Aβ)monomers aggregate to form fibrils and amyloid plaques,which are critical mechanisms in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Given the important role of Aβ1-42 aggregation in plaque formation,leading to brain lesions and cognitive impairment,numerous studies have aimed to reduce Aβaggregation and slow AD *** diphenylalanine(FF)sequence is critical for amyloid aggregation,and magnetic fields can affect peptide alignment due to the diamagnetic anisotropy of aromatic *** this study,we examined the effects of a moderate-intensity rotating magnetic field(RMF)on Aβaggregation and AD *** indicated that the RMF directly inhibited Aβamyloid fibril formation and reduced Aβ-induced cytotoxicity in neural cells in *** the AD mouse model APP/Ps1,RMF restored motor abilities to healthy control levels and significantly alleviated cognitive impairments,including exploration and spatial and non-spatial memory *** examinations demonstrated that RMF reduced amyloid plaque accumulation,attenuated microglial activation,and reduced oxidative stress in the APP/Ps1 mouse *** findings suggest that RMF holds considerable potential as a non-invasive,high-penetration physical approach for AD treatment.

The development of hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks（HOFs） faces significant constraints, primarily attributed to their fragile architectures and limited functionalization capabilities. To overcome these limitations, this work presents a new polymeron-HOF strategy by covalently tethering armor-like polymers onto the surface of HOFs. The application of this approach not only bolsters the stability of HOFs, but also facilitates the customization of their functional expansion in radionuclide sequestration. The optimized HOF-polymer materials display extraordinary ability in radionuclide sequestration, achieving uptake of I–(0.699 g g–1), IO3–(0.285 g g–1) and ReO4–(1.616 g g–1, setting a world record), fast adsorption kinetics（～100% removal within 45 s）, and exceptional regeneration capability（>30 cycles） under continuous flow conditions. These outstanding performances benefit from the internal porous channels and surface imidazolium polymer coatings of HOFs, as proved by density functional theory calculation and molecular dynamics simulations. This work paves the way for the rational design of HOF-based hybrid materials tailored to versatile applications.

Cobalt-based phosphides show excellent hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance,however,improving the intrinsic activity and stability of it in alkaline electrolyte still remains a ***,CoruoH/Co_(2)P/CF with heterojunction structure was developed by means of molten salt and rapid hydrolysis(30 s).The OH-from rapid surface hydrolysis of Co_(2)P as a hydrogen adsorption site can facilitate the formation of thin CoruoH layer as a water dissociation site,which may bring out better synergistic effect for alkaline ***,the covering of CoruoH can improve the stability of Co_(2)P for *** drives at 100 mA/cm^(2),it only requires overpotential of 81 mV in 1.0 mol/L KOH(25℃).Even at higher current density(1000 mA/cm^(2)),CoruoH/Co_(2)P/CF can also operate stability for at least 100 *** coupling with NiFe-LDH/IF in a two-electrode system,the voltage of NiFe-LDH/IF(+)||CoruoH/Co_(2)P/CF(-)at 1000 mA/cm^(2)is merely 1.77 V with 100 h,demonstrating great potential for water *** implementation of this work provides a new strategy and reference for the further improvement of transition metal phosphides as HER electrocatalysts.
