As urbanization continues to accelerate， the challenges associated with managing transportation in metropolitan areas become increasingly complex. The surge in population density contributes to traffic congestion， impacting travel experiences and posing safety risks. smart urban transportation management emerges as a strategic solution， conceptualized here as a multidimensional big data problem. The success of this strategy hinges on the effective collection of information from diverse， extensive， and heterogeneous data sources， necessitating the implementation of full-stack Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions. The main idea of the work is to investigate the current technologies of ITs and enhance the safety of urban transportation sys.e.s. Machine learning models， trained on historical data， can predict traffic congestion， allowing for the implementation of preventive measures. Deep learning architectures， with their ability to handle complex data representations， further refine traffic predictions， contributing to more accurate and dynamic transportation management. The background of this research underscores the challenges posed by traffic congestion in metropolitan areas and emphasizes the need for advanced technological solutions. By integrating GPs and GIs technologies with machine learning algorithms， this work aims to pay attention to the development of intelligent transportation sys.e.s that not only address current challenges but also pave the way for future advancements in urban transportation management.

Identifying factors affecting the survival of individuals is.e.sential for understanding the evolution of life-history traits and population *** numerous studies on this subject in north-temperate environments,there is a lack of equivalent studies at similar latitudes in the ***,we used a 14-year dataset of capture,banding,and resighting to estimate the annual variation in the apparent adult survival probability of a south-temperate population of House Wrens(Troglodytes aedon bonariae).We evaluated temporal variation in sur-vival and the effect of environmental(climatic)and demographic variables(adult abundance,total number of fledglings produced during each breeding season)on survival *** found that the probability of adult survival decreased as the abundance of breeding adults *** density-dependent effect could be related to the resident lifestyle of southern House Wrens,which could determine an intense competition for territories and resources that ultimately would affect their survival.

The joint european space Agency and Chinese Academy of sciences solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link explorer(sMILe)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the sMILe ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for sMILe,and the benefits and context various.e.periments that have explicitly expres.e. support for sMILe can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online sMILe Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or s.e.ial modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the sMILe mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

The use of biochar can have several effects on plant germination,depending on raw material,preparation method and application ***,the molecular mechanisms that lead to those results have yet to be *** aim of this research was to improve the understanding of these mechanisms by characterizing the metabolic effects of sugarcane bagas.e.biochar on soybean *** types of biochars were prepared by pyrolysis at 300℃(sCB300),400℃(sCB400)and 600℃(sCB600).Then,each one was mixed into sand at 1%,3%,5%(w/w)dose,*** experiment was performed in 8 days of incubation,when the number of germinated s.e.s and the average radicle length were *** evaluate the metabolome,the dry biomass(DB)was subjected to extraction with a mixture of methanol-d4 and D2O(1:1 v/v).The extracts were submitted to metabolomics analysis by Proton Nuclear Magnetic *** Relative Germination,Relative Average Radicle Growth and Germination Index increased in all treatments compared to *** the other hand,the DB increased in all treatments.e.cept for sCB300,at doses of 1%and 3%w/*** metabolites(alanine,asparagine,acetic acid,citric acid,glycerol,fatty acids and sucrose)were identified and quantified in DB extracts as the most influential finding for the separation of *** together,these results strongly sugges.e. that biochars accelerated the catabolism of triacylglycerols to sucrose and induced a slight osmotic stress.

Background:severe trauma is associated with sys.e.ic inflammation and organ *** rodent trauma models are the mainstay of postinjury research but have been criticized for not fully replicating severe human *** aim of this study was to create a rat model of multicompartmental injury which recreates profound traumatic ***:Male sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to unilateral lung contusion and hemorrhagic shock(LCHs),multicompartmental polytrauma(PT)(unilateral lung contusion,hemorrhagic shock,cecectomy,bifemoral pseudofracture),or na?ve ***,plasma toll-l ike receptor 4(TLR4),hemoglobin,spleen to body weight ratio,bone marrow(BM)erythroid progenitor(CFU-GeMM,BFU-e,and CFU-e)growth,plasma granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CsF)and right lung histologic injury were as.e.sed on day 7,with significance defined as p valuesesults:Polytrauma resulted in markedly more profound inhibition of weight gain compared to LCHs(p=0.0002)along with elevated plasma TLR4(per hemoglobin(penlarged spleen to body weight ratios(p=0.004).Both LCHs and PT demonstrated suppression of CFU-e and BFU-e growth compared to naive(psma G-CsF was.e.evated in PT compared to both na?ve and LCHs(ps and PT demonstrated significant histologic right lung injury with poor alveolar wall integrity and interstitial ***:Multicompartmental injury as described here establis.e. a reproducible model of multicompartmental injury with worsened anemia,splenic tiss.e.enlargement,weight loss,and increased inflammatory activity compared to a less severe *** may serve as a more effective model to recreate profound traumatic injury to replicate the human inflammatory response postinjury.

Nowcasting and forecasting solar irradiance are vital for the optimal prediction of grid-connected solar photovoltaic(PV)power *** plants face operational challenges and scheduling dispatch difficulties due to the fluctuating nature of their power *** the generation capacity within the electric grid increases,accurately predicting this output becomes increasingly es.e.tial,es.e.ially given the random and non-linear characteristics of solar irradiance under variable weather *** study presents a novel prediction method for solar irradiance,which is directly in correlation with PV power output,targeting both short-term and medium-term forecast *** proposed hybrid framework employs a fast trainable statistical learning technique based on the truncated-regularized kernel ridge regression *** proposed method excels in forecasting solar irradiance,es.e.ially during highly intermittent weather periods.A key strength of our model is the incorporation of multiple historical weather parameters as inputs to generate accurate predictions of future solar irradiance values in its scalable *** evaluated the performance of our model using data sets from both cloudy and sunny days in seattle and Medford,UsA and compared it against three forecasting models:persis.e.ce,modified 24-hour persis.e.ce and least *** on three widely accepted statistical performance metrics(root mean squared error,mean absolute error and coefficient of determination),our hybrid model demonstrated superior predictive accuracy in varying weather conditions and forecast horizons.

Highly s.e.ific interactions between biomolecules,such as antigen-antibody,protein-ligand,or nucleic acid base pair complementary are on the basis of the organization of complex *** same principles may be tentatively used in molecular medicine for diagnosis and therapeutics.A molecule can be designed to selectively bind a protease and thereby inhibit the production of a peptide that forms toxic aggregates in the brain or an antibody may be produced to bind s.e.ifically to that peptide for detection or clearance ***,interference in biological sys.e.s is not that *** a start there is the inhibition of the physiological role of the protease;moreover,several cleavage fragments may be produced,which may continue to diverge due to putative post-translational modification and self-as.e.bly proces.e.,hiding the toxic target in a“soup”of peptide s.e.ies varying in size,structure and chemical composition.A pers.e.tive of the current status and challenges in targeting peptide s.e.ies for diagnosis and treatment in the context of Alzheimer’s disease is given.
