Polychelates of Mn（Ⅱ）, Fe（Ⅱ）, Co（Ⅱ）, Ni（Ⅱ）, Cu（Ⅱ）, Zn（Ⅱ） and Cd（Ⅱ） with the bis salen-type ligand derived from 4,4＇-bis[（salicylaldehyde-5）azo]biphenyl and 1,4-diaminobutane have been synthesized. All the polychelalls have been characllrized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR, electronic spectra and thennogravirncuic studies. All the complexes isolated in solid stall are dark coloured and insoluble in water and common organic solvents. The ligand behaves as a bis-bidentall molecule coordinating through the phenolic oxygen and azomethine nitrogen atoms. The thermal decomposition of these metal complexes was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis and data have been analyzed for kinetic parameters using Broido equation. The solid-state electrical conductivity of the ligand and its polychelalls in the form of compressed pellet was studied in the temperaturc range from 313 to 413 K All the polychelalls were found to show semiconducting nature. The Mn（Ⅱ）, Fe（Ⅱ）, Co（Ⅱ） and Ni（Ⅱ） polychelalls have been assessed for the catalytic epoxidation of styrene.

Hydrometeorological assessments and suspended sediment delivery from a central Himalayan glacier in the upper Ganga basin

Integrated hydrometeorological investigations are not frequently available at a regional scale over a longer time period, especially near the terminus of Indian Himalayan glaciers. An integrated approach to the collection of hydrological data has major advantages for understanding the runoff generation mechanisms at basin scale, particularly when coupled with meteorological observations. The current study involves time series analysis of hydrometeorological records collected near the terminus of the Chorabari Glacier, for four consecutive ablation seasons(June-sept.) 2009-2012. The analysis shows that variation in rainfall was higher(c= 0.9) at the same elevation over proximal sites, while the intensity of extreme rainfall events was 121-160 mm/d. The diurnal temperature range(DTR) has a tendency to reduce over the ablation season because of the onset of the Indian summer Monsoon(IsM) and then further increases during the IsM withdrawal indicating humid-temperate conditions. The peak discharge(Qpeak) was found to be higher during July and August. snow and glacier melt contributed 76% of the total suspended sediment transport during peak IsM months(July and August) reflecting seasonal evolution of the hydrologic conduits. The results indicate that Karakoram and western Himalayan glaciers produce comparatively low sediment yield compared to central Himalayan glaciers. The hydrological variations are depicted through flow duration curves(FDC) for meltwater discharge and sediment load. The flow corresponding to Q, Q, and Q(where Qx is the discharge that is exceeded x percent of the time referred to as % dependability) are 4.2, 3.7, and 2.8 m~3/s; and the corresponding dependability for suspended sediment loads(ssLs) are 409.0, 266.0, and 157.2 t/d, respectively. Human Activity Recognition(HAR)has been made simple in recent years,thanks to recent advancements made in Artiﬁcial Intelligence(AI)*** techniques are applied in several areas like security,surveillance,healthcare,human-robot interaction,and *** wearable sensor-based HAR system includes in-built sensors,human activities can be categorized based on sensor ***,it can also be employed in other applications such as gait diagnosis,observation of children/adult’s cognitive nature,stroke-patient hospital direction,Epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease examination,***-developed Artiﬁcial Intelligence(AI)techniques,especially Deep Learning(DL)models can be deployed to accomplish effective outcomes on HAR *** this motivation,the current research paper focuses on designing Intelligent Hyperparameter Tuned Deep Learning-based HAR(IHPTDL-HAR)technique in healthcare *** proposed IHPTDL-HAR technique aims at recogniz-ing the human actions in healthcare environment and helps the patients in mana-ging their healthcare *** addition,the presented model makes use of Hierarchical Clustering(HC)-based outlier detection technique to remove the ***-HAR technique incorporates DL-based Deep Belief Network(DBN)model to recognize the activities of ***,Harris Hawks Opti-mization(HHO)algorithm is used for hyperparameter tuning of DBN ***,a comprehensive experimental analysis was conducted upon benchmark dataset and the results were examined under different *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed IHPTDL-HAR technique is a superior per-former compared to other recent techniques under different measures.

The study of imine-bridged organics has been the hot spot synthesis of second order nonlinear optical (sONLO) and photo-responsive materials in recent years. Herein we present a study of synthesis, growth, and characterization of ([paranitrophenyl]imino)benzene (PNPIB) NLO single crystal. The title compound was synthesized in one step by schiff base formation. PNPIB single crystal of diameter of 40 mmand length 50 mmwas successfully grown by sR method using a seed as the nucleus. The growth rate formula is derived for the sR method. PNPIB single crystals of 10 mmdiameter and 60 mmheight have been grown at an average growth rate of 3 mmper day from the point seed in a glass crystallizer. Almost 100% stable crystal conversion efficiency was achieved. The as grown PNPIB crystals were characterized using single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Ultraviolet-Visible-Near Infrared (UV-Vis-NIR), 1H & 13C NMR spectral studies, dielectric measurement and NLO studies. single crystal XRD analysis confirms that the grown ingot belongs to the space group of P2 of monoclinic system thus exhibiting noncentrosymmetric structure. The crystalline perfection was assessed by XRPD. The powder diffraction pattern of the grown crystal has been indexed. The presence of C=N bond with intramolecular hydrogen bonding and the protonation of ions were confirmed by FTIR analysis. The UV-Vis-NIR spectrum of the crystal shows that the crystal has a cut-off at 298 nm. The 1H & 13C NMR spectra confirm the molecular structure. The dielectric behaviour was measured in the frequency range 1 KHz - 10 KHz for the temperature range from 30℃ to 170℃. The slight decrease in dielectric constant has been observed as the frequency is increased and the dielectric loss is very low for the entire frequency range. The second harmonic generation (sHG) in the crystal was observed by Kurtz powder technique.

In this paper,we report a method for obtaining a visual voltammogram at a linear array of closed wireless bipolar electrodes(BPEs).This advancement is significant,because the visual voltammogram captures the entire current-potential(i-E)relationship of a faradaic reaction in one image and is continuously generated over ***,we anticipate that this method will allow monitoring in redox systems that change over ***,the use of a linear array of BPEs eliminates the need to use a potentiostat and can be carried out with a simple DC power *** experimental and numerical results demonstrate that the visual voltammogram is similar to a linear sweep voltammogram and therefore,information about the faradaic process can be extracted from the wave position,height,and shape.

This paper proposes the charge plasma based dual electrode doping-less tunnel FET （DEDLTFET）. The paper compares the device performance of the conventional doping-less TFET （DLTFET） and doped TFET （DGTFET）. DEDLTEFT gives the superior results with high ON state current （/ON - 0.56 mA/um）, ION/IoFv ratio - 9.12 ×1013 and an average subthreshold swing （AV-ss -- 48 mV/dec）. The variation of different device parameters such as channel length, gate oxide material, gate oxide thickness, silicon thickness, gate work function and temperature variation are done and compared with DLTFET and DGTFET. Through the extensive analysis it is found that DEDLTFET shows the better performance than the other two devices, which gives the indication for an excellent future in low power applications.

DNA/single-wall carbon nanotube(sWCNT)hybrids have enabled many applications because of their special ability to disperse and sort sWCNTs by their chirality and *** work has been done to discover sequences which recognize specific chiralities of sWCNT,and significant progress has been made in understanding the underlying structure and thermodynamics of these ***,de novo prediction of recognition sequences remains essentially impossible and the success rate for their discovery by search of the vast single-stranded DNA library is very ***,we report an effective way of predicting recognition sequences based on machine learning analysis of existing experimental sequence data *** input feature construction methods(position-specific,term-frequency,combined or segmented term frequency vector,and motif-based feature)were used and *** transformed features were used to train several classifier algorithms(logistic regression,support vector machine,and artificial neural network).Trained models were used to predict new sets of recognition sequences,and consensus among a number of models was used successfully to counteract the limited size of the data *** were tested using aqueous two-phase *** data thus acquired were used to retrain the models by adding an experimentally tested new set of predicted sequences to the original *** frequency of finding correct recognition sequences by the trained model increased to>50% from the~10% success rate in the original training data set.
