随着技术的进步,个人防护设备在降低农药喷洒风险方面越来越有帮助。农民在喷洒农药过程中无法采取基本的预防措施仍然是一个政策难题,尤其是在发展中国家。大多数农民与大自然息息相关,在烈日下努力工作。尽管大多数耕作操作无害,但是,他们应该使用个人防护设备,以防止吸入喷洒在棉花田的农药,农药喷雾在棉花生产中更为普遍。因此,本研究旨在确定农民在喷洒农药时使用个人防护设备的意愿。通过对巴基斯坦信德省的380名小规模农民进行调查,考察了其使用方法的优缺点。此外,为了避免选择偏见,本研究针对的是在各自领域工作时未使用个人防护设备的农民。使用多项式logit模型对结果进行了分析,以确定农民将来是否愿意使用个人防护设备。研究结果表明,有51.8%的农民愿意使用PPE。此外,Wilcoxon配对小组检验用于检验农民对PPE劣势的看法,发现其平均值(χ= 9.71)高于PPE优势的平均值(χ=7.17),这表明受访者认为个人防护装备的使用是负面的,这可以减少农药使用过程中个人防护装备的使用。研究结果还表明,农民的认识在使用个人防护装备方面发挥着重要作用,激励政策制定者应更加关注农民态度的作用。为了鼓励在喷洒农药过程中采取安全措施并增强其安全性。

Cracking susceptibility After Post-Weld Heat Treatment in Haynes 282 Nickel Based superalloy

This paper presents a study of the standard post-weld heat treatment （PWHT） behaviour of autogenous laser welded γ＇ age-hardenable precipitation strengthened nickel based superalloy Haynes 282 （HY 282）. The study involves a careful and detailed microstructural characterisation as well as an analysis of the weld cracking susceptibility during welding and Gleeble thermo-mechanical physical simulation. Various factors that could influence post-weld cracking in superalloys weld were experimentally examined. Our microstructural exami- nation of the as-solution heat treated （sHTed） material and the thermo-mechanically refined grain material shows that intergranular heat affected zone （HAZ） cracking is observable in only the as-welded sHTed material. There was no indication of post-weld heat treatment cracking in all welded materials. Our conclusion, in this study, is that the chemistry of superalloy HY 282 which aids the preclusion/formation of deleterious so- lidification microconstituents during welding as well as its relatively slow aging kinetics enhances its resistance to PWHT cracking.

An analytical solution is obtained for the flow due to solid-body rotations an oscillating porous disk and of a fluid at infinity. Neglecting the induced magnetic field, the effects of the transversely applied magnetic field on the flow are studied. Further, the flow confined between two disks is also discussed. It is found that an infinite number of solutions exist for the flow confined between two disks.

In a wide variety of mechanical and industrial applications,e.g.,space cooling,nuclear reactor cooling,medicinal utilizations(magnetic drug targeting),energy generation,and heat conduction in tissues,the heat transfer phenomenon is ***’s law of heat conduction has been used as the foundation for predicting the heat transfer behavior in a variety of real-world *** model’s production of a parabolic energy expression,which means that an initial disturbance would immediately affect the system under investigation,is one of its main ***,numerous researchers worked on such problem to resolve this *** last,this problem was resolved by Cattaneo by adding relaxation time for heat flux in Fourier’s law,which was defined as the time required to establish steady heat conduction once a temperature gradient is *** offered a material invariant version of Cattaneo’s model by taking into account the upper-connected derivative of the Oldroyd ***,both models are combinedly known as the Cattaneo-Christov(CC)*** this attempt,the mixed convective MHD Falkner-skan sutterby nanofluid flow is addressed towards a wedge surface in the presence of the variable external magnetic *** CC model is incorporated instead of Fourier’s law for the examination of heat transfer features in the energy expression.A two-phase nanofluid model is utilized for the implementation of *** nonlinear system of equations is tackled through the bvp4c technique in the MATLAB software *** influence of pertinent flow parameters is discussed and displayed through different *** and important results are summarized in the conclusion ***,in both cases of wall-through flow(i.e.,suction and injection effects),the porosity parameters increase the flow speed,and decrease the heat transport and the influence of drag forces.

Effects of Cadmium, Lead, and Zinc on size of MicrobialBiomass in Red soil

A laboratory incubation experiment was conducted to study the influence of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb)and zinc (Zn) on the size of the microbial biomass in red soil. All the three metals were applied, separately,at five different levels that were: Cd at 5, 15, 30, 60 and 100 μg g-1; Pb at 100, 200, 300, 450 and 600 μg g-1 and Zn at 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 μg g-1 soil. In comparison to uncontaminated soil, the microbial biomass carbon and biomass nitrogen decreased sharply in soils contaminated with Cd, Ph and Zn. A more considerable increase in the microbial biomass C: N ratio was observed in the metal contaminated soils than the non-treated control. Among the tested metals, Cd displayed the greatest biocidal effect followed by Zn and Pb, showing their relative toxicity in the order of Cd > Zn > Pb.

Improving the Economic Values of the Recycled Plastics Using Nanotechnology Associated studies

Recycled polystyrene （Ps） cups were chopped up and separately incorporated with multiwall carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs） and NiZn ferrite （Ni0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4） nanoparticles prior to electrospinning under different conditions. These nanoscale inclusions were initially dispersed well in dimethylformamide （DMF）, and then known amounts of the recycled Ps pieces were added to the dispersions prior to 30 min of sonication followed by 4 h of high-speed agitation at 750 r/min. The thermal, dielectric, surface hydrophobic, and magnetic properties of the resultant nanocomposite fibers were determined by thermal comparative, capacitance bridge, vibrating sample magnetometer （VsM）, and goniometer techniques, respectively. Test results confirmed that the physical properties of recycled nanofibers were significantly increased as a function of the inclusion concentrations, which may be because of their excellent properties. The consumption of polymeric products as well as their waste materials has dramatically grown worldwide. Although plastic recycling, reprocessing, and reusing rates are growing, the physical properties and economic value of recycled plastics are significantly low. Consequently, this work provides a detailed explanation of how to improve recycled plastics, making them into highly valued new nanoproducts for various industrial applications, including filtration, textile, transportation, construction, and energy.

Heat Transfer of Casson Fluid over a Vertical Plate with Arbitrary shear stress and Exponential Heating

The basic objective of this work is to study the heat transfer of Casson fluid of non-Newtonian *** fluid is considered over a vertical plate such that the plate exhibits arbitrary wall shear stress at the *** transfers due to exponential plate heating and natural convection are due to buoyancy ***(MHD)analysis in the occurrence of a uniform magnetic field is also *** medium over the plate is porous and hence Darcy’s law is *** governing equations are established for the velocity and temperature fields by the usual Boussinesq *** problem is first written in dimensionless form using some useful non-dimensional quantities and then *** exact analysis is performed and hence solutions via integral transform are *** analysis of various pertinent parameters on temperature distribution and velocity field are reported *** is found that pours medium permeability parameter retards the fluid motion whereas,velocity decreases with increasing magnetic *** and temperature decrease with increasing Prandtl number whereas the Grashof number enhances the fluid ***,it is concluded from this study that the results obtained here are more general and in a limiting sense several other solutions can be *** Newtonian fluid results can be easily established by taking the Casson parameter infinitely large i.e.,whenβ→∞.

Effect of Metal Contact and Rapid Thermal Annealing on Electrical Characteristics of Graphene Matrix

Development of graphene field effect transistors （GFETs） faces a serious challenge of graphene interface to the dielectric material. A single layer of intrinsic graphene has an average sheet resistance of the order of 1-5 kΩ/□. The intrinsic nature of graphene leads to higher contact resistance yielding into the outstanding properties of the material. We design a graphene matrix with minimized sheet resistance of 0.185 kΩ/□ with Ag contacts. The developed matrices on silicon substrates provide a variety of transistor design options for subsequent fabrication. The graphene layer is developed over 400 nm nickel in such a way as to analyze hypersensitive electrical properties of the interface for exfoliation. This work identifies potential of the design in the applicability of few-layer GFETs with less process steps with the help of analyzing the effect of metal contact and post-process anneMing on its electrical fabrication.
