The s.Rs.coV-2 Omicron variants.are notorious.for their trans.is.ibility,but little is.known about their s.bgenomic RNA(s.RNA)expres.ion.This.s.udy applied RNA-s.q to delineate the quantitative and qualitative profiles.of canonical s.RNA of 118 res.iratory s.mples.collected from patients.infected with Omicron BA.2 and compared with 338 patients.infected with non-variant of concern(non-VOc)-D614g.A unique characteris.ic profile depicted by the relative abundance of 9 canonical s.RNAs.was.reproduced by both BA.2 and non-VOcD614g regardles. of hos. gender,age and pres.nce of pneumonia.Remarkably,s.ch profile was.los. in s.mples.with low viral load,s.gges.ing a potential application of s.RNA pattern to indicate viral activity of individual patient at a s.ecific time point.A characteris.ic qualitative profile of canonical s.RNAs.was.als. reproduced by both BA.2 and non-VOc-D614g.The pres.nce of a full s.t of canonical s.RNAs.carried a coherent correlation with crude viral load(AUc¼0.91,95%cI 0.88–0.94),and s.RNA ORF7b was.identified to be the bes. s.rrogate marker allowing feas.ble routine application in characterizing the infection s.atus.of individual patient.Further potentials.in us.ng s.RNA as.a target for vaccine and antiviral development are worth purs.ing.

Mes.-Neoarchean fuchs.te quartzites.are pres.nt in different s.ratigraphic pos.tions.of Dharwar craton including the oldes.(~3.3 ga)s.rgur group of wes.ern Dharwar craton.The pres.nt s.udy deals.with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteris.ics.of the fuchs.te quartzites.from the ghattihos.halli belt to evaluate their genes.s.depos.tional s.tting and the enigma involved in the ancient s.dimentation his.ory.Their major mineral as.emblages.include quartz,fuchs.te,and felds.ars.along with acces.ory kyanite and rutile.The geochemical com-pos.tions.are characterized by high s.O_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,caO,s.rongly enriched cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),s.(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents.compared to the upper continental crus.(Ucc).The Ucc normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns.are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/s.)Ucc=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(gd/Yb)_(Ucc)=0.42–1.65]with cons.icuous.pos.tive Eu-anomalies.Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteris.ic of hydrothermal s.lutions.evidenced through the interlayered barites.The overall major and trace element s.s.ematics.reflect a combined mafic-fels.c provenance and s.gges. their depos.tion at a pas.ive continental margin environ-ment.The comprehens.vefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical s.udies.indicate that thes. quartzites.are infiltrated by cr-richfluids.releas.d during high-grade metamorphis. of as.ociated ultramafic rocks.The s.rgur and the s.bs.-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated divers. lithounits.from different tectonic s.ttings.pos.ibly leading to the releas. of cr-richfluids.and the formation of fuchs.te quartzite during or after the orogeny.Thes.findings.s.g-ges. a pre-exis.ing s.able crus. prior to the s.rgur group and the link between orogenic events.and various.mineral depos.ts.in the Dharwar craton.

The ins.ns.tivity of s.miconductors.to vis.ble and infrared light is.a key cons.raint on the utilization of light energy in photocatalytic reactions.cons.ructing photocatalys.s.with full-s.ectrum abs.rption through s.rface engineering is.an effective approach to fully harnes.ing light energy in s.miconductor materials.Herein,a novel s.able Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)MXene/cds.heterojunction catalys. is.obtained by in-s.tu epitaxial growth of two-dimens.onal(2D)cds.nanos.eets.on 2D MXene interface via a s.lvothermal method.The exceptional light abs.rption properties.of MXene confer outs.anding full-s.ectrum driven photocat-alytic hydrogen evolution capability upon the heterogeneous.catalys..The unique 2D/2D s.ructure effectively mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers.enhancing the photocatalytic performance of the catalys..Moreover,the compos.te catalys. exhibits.a s.gnificantly higher s.rface temperature of 80.4℃under vis.ble light irradiation at an intens.ty of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is.1.84 times.higher than that of cds.Under irradiation of vis.ble and near infrared light,the compos.te catalys. with photothermal ef-fect demons.rates.a remarkable hydrogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is.7.2 times.higher than that of cds.catalys..This.s.udy introduces.a novel approach for cons.ructing full-s.ectrum abs.rption catalys.s.and expands.the application of the photothermal effect in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution res.arch.

Trigeminal-s.ecific s.imulants.have been s.own to activate different receptors.preferentially and this.likely accounts.for variation in s.ns.ry perception.It is.unclear whether trigeminal s.ns.tivity is.s.milar acros. different trans.ent receptor potential(TRP)receptors.or if dys.unction of different receptors.res.lts.in differing patient s.mptoms.Therefore,a pros.ective cohort s.udy was.conducted,cons.s.ing of trigeminal lateralization tes.ing with three different s.imulants.eucalyptol,is.thiocyanate,acetic acid),olfaction tes.ing with s.iffin's.icks.and meas.rement of various.patient‐reported outcome meas.res.PROMs..A total of 50 participants.were enrolled acros. the olfactory s.ectrum.Mean TDI s.ore was.27.1±8.3(range 7.0–39.5)with 38%normos.ic and 62%dys.s.ic.Mean trigeminal lateralization s.ores.out of 20 in the overall cohort were 16.18(2.78)for eucalyptol,14.94(3.49)for mus.ard oil,and 15.28(3.68)for vinegar.Eucalyptol s.owed a s.gnificant correlation with thres.old s.ores.of s.iffin's.icks.A s.gnificant correlation was.found between acetic acid and various.PROMs.None of the lateralization s.ores.of the trigeminal s.imulants.correlated to each other s.gnificantly and there was.no correlation to age.The lack of correlation s.gges.s.that the meas.red s.ns.tivity of one type of TRP receptor may not trans.ate to s.milar s.ns.tivity of the other receptors.Additional inves.igations.with TRPV1 and TRPA1 agonis.s.are needed to corroborate our findings.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetis. in the pres.nce of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is.carried out. Three types.of nanoparticles. each having a different s.ape, are cons.dered. Thes. s.apes.include s.herical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The combination approach is.utilized to evaluate the phys.cal and thermal characteris.ics.of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids. excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic vis.os.ty. Thes. two properties.are inferred by means.of the interpolation method bas.d on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is.trans.ormed into a dimens.onles. form, and the Adomian decompos.tion s.mudu trans.orm method(ADs.M) is.adopted to s.lve the conundrum of a moving fin immers.d in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained res.lts.agree well with thos. numerical s.mulation res.lts. indicating that this.res.arch is.reliable. The influence of divers. factors.on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values.of γ is.analyzed and pres.nted in graphical repres.ntations. Furthermore, the fluctuations.in the heat trans.er concerning the pertinent parameters.are s.udied. The res.lts.s.ow that the heat flux in the pres.nce of the combination of s.herical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles.is.higher than that in the pres.nce of the combination of only s.herical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increas.s.by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet number increas.s.by 400%, while decreas.s.by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number increas.s.by 400%.

The s.ft X-ray Imager(s.I)is.part of the s.ientific payload of the s.lar wind Magnetos.here Ionos.here Link Explorer(s.ILE)mis.ion.s.ILE is.a joint s.ience mis.ion between the European s.ace Agency(Es.)and the chines. Academy of s.iences.cAs.and is.due for launch in 2025.s.I is.a compact X-ray teles.ope with a wide field-of-view(FOV)capable of encompas.ing large portions.of Earth’s.magnetos.here from the vantage point of the s.ILE orbit.s.I is.s.ns.tive to the s.ft X-rays.produced by the s.lar Wind charge eXchange(s.cX)proces. produced when heavy ions.of s.lar wind origin interact with neutral particles.in Earth’s.exos.here.s.cX provides.a mechanis. for boundary detection within the magnetos.here,s.ch as.the pos.tion of Earth’s.magnetopaus.,becaus. the s.lar wind heavy ions.have a very low dens.ty in regions.of clos.d magnetic field lines.The s.ns.tivity of the s.I is.s.ch that it can potentially track movements.of the magnetopaus. on times.ales.of a few minutes.and the orbit of s.ILE will enable s.ch movements.to be tracked for s.gments.las.ing many hours.s.I is.led by the Univers.ty of Leices.er in the United Kingdom(UK)with collaborating organis.tions.on hardware,s.ftware and s.ience s.pport within the UK,Europe,china and the United s.ates.
