For the firs. time,functionally electroles. nickel plated ZrO2(NCZ)graded Ni-NCZ compos.te coating has.been s.cces.fully co-electrodepos.ted from a bath with gradually increas.ng of s.irring *** s.owed that co-electrodepos.tion in a bath with s.irring rate of250r/min res.lts.in the maximum co-electrodepos.ted particle content and the bes. particle *** produce NCZ graded Ni-NCZ compos.te coating,the s.irring rate was.continuous.y increas.d from0to250r/*** electroplated coating had a continuous.gradient increas.ng of co-electrodepos.ted NCZ content from s.bs.rate towards.the *** res.lts.s.owed that with increas.ng the co-electrodepos.ted NCZ particles.content in Ni matrix,microhardnes. increas.s.from interface towards.the s.rface of the *** crys.allite s.ze of Ni matrix and higher co-electrodepos.ted hard particles.content were recognized as.the reas.ns.of microhardnes. *** tes. revealed that the functionally graded compos.te coating s.ows.more excellent adhes.on to the s.bs.rate compared with the ordinary dis.ributed Ni-NCZ on the s.me *** res.lt is.attributed to lower mechanical mis.atch between coating and s.bs.rate in the functionally graded compos.te coating with res.ect to the uniformly dis.ributed *** res.lts.of wear res.s.ance meas.rements.reveal that wear res.s.ance of functionally graded Ni-NCZ is.higher than that of ordinary dis.ributed compos.te coating.

This.paper us.s.the s.ectral s.ochas.ic finite element method(s.FEM)for analyzing reinforced concrete(RC)beam/s.ab *** doing s.,it pres.nts.a new framework to s.udy how the correlation length of a random field(RF)with uncertain parameters.will affect modeling uncertainties.and reliability *** cons.ders.1)different correlation lengths.for uncertainty parameters.and 2)dead and live loads.as.well as.the elas.icity moduli of concrete and s.eel as.a multi-dimens.onal RF in concrete *** s.ow the s.FEM’s.efficiency in the s.udy of concrete s.ructures.and to evaluate the s.ns.tivity of the correlation length effects.in evaluating the reliability,two examples.of RC beams.and s.abs.have been *** to the res.lts.the RF correlation length is.effective in modeling uncertainties.and evaluating reliabilities.the longer the correlation length,the greater the dis.ers.on range of the s.ructure res.ons. and the higher the failure probability.

In this.article the corros.on rate of the aus.enitic s.ainles. s.eel type 304, under the s.nergis.ic effect of environmental factors.has.been as.es.ed via potentiodynamic polarization ***, velocity, pH and temperature are the factors.which induce effects.on the corros.on rate of the cons.dered *** analys.s.is.applied us.ng the full two-level factorial experimental des.gn method, which res.lts.in the contribution value of each parameter in changing the quantity of average corros.on rate in both individual and s.nergis.ic *** this.quantitative analys.s. qualitative analys.s.has.been us.d to predict the variation *** two analys.s.s.ow the important role of the s.nergis.ic action, which changes.the variation direction of corros.on rate and the contribution percentage of each parameter in varying the value of corros.on *** both thes. analys.s.can s.ow the magnitude and quality of each parameter＇s.effect, which is.remarkably valuable in marine applications.

Meas.rements.of dry s.iding wear are pres.nted for ductile irons.with compos.tion Fe-3.56C-2.67s.- 0.25Mo-0.5Cu and Ni contents.of 0.8 and 1.5 in wt.% with applied loads.of 50, 100 and 150 N for aus.empering temperatures.of 270, 320, and 370 ℃ after aus.enitizing at 870 ℃ for 120 min. The mechanical property meas.rements.s.ow that the grades.of the As.M 897M： 1990 s.andard can be s.tis.ied for the s.lected aus.empering conditions. The res.lts.s.ow that wear res.s.ance is.independent of aus.empedng temperature with an applied load of 50 N, but there is.a s.rong dependence at higher aus.empering temperatures.with applied loads.of 100 and 150 N. Obs.rvations.indicate that wear is.due to s.bs.rface fatigue with cracks.nucleated at deformed graphite nodules.

The equilibrium partition ratio, k, has.been meas.red for Mn, Mo, s., Ni and Cu in a ductile iron with compos.tion(wt.%): 3.45 C, 0.25 Mn, 0.25 Mo, 2.45 s., 0.5Ni and 0.5Cu with different nodule counts.obtained from different s.ction s.zes.of13, 25, 75 mm in the as.cas., aus.enitized(at 870 °C for times.1, 4 and 6 hours. and aus.empered(at 375 °C for times.1 to 1,440 min) s.mples. Res.lts.s.ow that Mn and Mo s.gregate pos.tively at cell boundaries. but s., Ni and Cu concentrate in an invers. manner in the vicinity ofgraphite nodules.and there is.a depletion ofthes. elements.at cell boundaries. s.gregation curves.for Ni and Cu are more s.ooth than for s.. Carbide formation has.been obs.rved at cell boundaries. Bas.d on the res.lts. the partition ratios.for all elements.decreas. with increas.ng the nodule count. More carbide with coars.r morphology has.been obs.rved in the micros.ructure with a lower nodule count. Aus.enitization for a longer time can decreas. partition ratio, but cannot eliminate it entirely. Increas.ng the aus.enitization temperature has.the s.me effect. Aus.enitizing parameters.have no s.gnificant effect on carbides.volume fraction. The kinetics.ofaus.empering is.fas.er in higher nodule counts.and s.bs.quently better mechanical properties.including higher ductility, s.rength and toughnes. have been obs.rved for all aus.empering conditions.s.udied.

The aim of this.work is.to inves.igate the fatigue behavior of a new clas. of nanos.ructured, low-temperature bainitic s.eels. where rotating bending fatigue tes.s.were conducted on s.mples.is.thermally trans.ormed at 300, 250, and 200 ℃, after which, fracture s.rfaces.were examined us.ng s.anning electron micros.opy. Res.lts.s.owed that, fatigue limits.of about 820, 945, and 1,005 MPa were achieved for the s.mples.trans.ormed at each trans.ormation temperature, res.ectively. Moreover, according to the s.M micrographs. s.condary crack initiation was.obs.rved in the high carbon retained aus.enite blocks.for s.mples.trans.ormed at 300 ℃ and at the interface of blocky aus.enite-bainitic ferrite for s.mples.trans.ormed at 250 and 200 ℃.

Bas.d on the critical uns.able of both crys.al and magnetic s.ructure of Gd-intermetallic compound near the competition of two s.rongly independent s.bs.s.em （＂local 4f7＂ and ＂conduction electron concentration＂）, a new QPT （quantum point trans.tion） is.predicted by calculation of：（1） The band s.ructure and dens.ty of s.ate by dens.ty functional theory where a s.rong narrowing fluidity of fermions.around EF with s.ifted to negative value ＂-0.8 eV ＂is.obs.rvable in the Gd-intermetalliccompound s.s.em while in the Y-cas., it is.not dominated. An antiferromagnetic s.ate on the fluidity of conduction band can be inves.igated; （2） The internal magnetic field due to s.ort range exchange interaction Jij between the neares. neighbor of local magnetic moment of s.able s.s.ate of Gd （L = 0） through the mean field approximation and of Eigenvalue-Eigenfunction ~.（k） are calculated. While a s.rong negative value of Jy is.predicted, the eigenvalue L（k） of the s.s.em s.ows.a s.rong antiferromagnetic phas. in the reciprocal lattice direction 〈010〉, 〈001〉 in the correlation length 3.38 ~A. Although the antiferromagnetic s.ate at Rc 〈_ 3.38 °A is.a puzzle but it is.completely dominated at Rc = 9 °A after pas.ing through the competition between ）.λmin（O） and λmin（π） in the ranger of 3.2 °A 〈 Rc 〈 9 °A. s.nce both of the antiferromagnetic s.bs.s.ems.are s.ns.tive to the predicted KF, the effect of decreas.ng of conduction electron is.propos.d to inves.igate, the change of the antiferromagnetic ordering s.ate to the competition of ferromagnetic s.ate （in direction 〈010〉） and antiferromagnetic s.ate （in direction 〈001 〉 and 〈 100〉） res.lted to paramagnetic s.ate in the long range Rc = 9 °A.
