The Management Dis.us.ion and Analys.s.（MD＆A） is.a mandatory document under the European Union＇s.（EU） law. In 2003, the EU is.ued Directive 2003/51/EC, which broadened the inf.rmation that f.rms.have to provide in their MD＆A, and in 2010 the International Accounting s.andards.Board （IAs.） is.ued the International f.nancial Reporting s.andards.（If.s. Practice s.atement ＂Management Commentary＂, a non-binding guidance f.r the pres.ntation of.this.document. The aim of.this.paper is.to examine the relations.ip between MD＆A dis.los.re quality and properties.of.analys.s. f.recas.s. In f.ct, although mos. s.udies.f.und that f.nancial analys.s.mainly ref.r to f.nancial s.atement data in f.recas.ing earnings. there are f.w res.arches.highlighting the importance of.MD＆A dis.los.res.f.r f.nancial analys.s. On this.bas.s. Ramnath, Rock, and s.ane （2008） called f.r res.arches.in order to better unders.and the relations.ip between the inf.rmation really us.d by analys.s.and their f.recas.s. To as.es. the quality of.MD＆A dis.los.res. we developed a multidimens.onal meas.re on the bas.s.of.the EU requirements.and the If.s.Practice s.atement, and then we regres.ed this.variable on both f.recas. accuracy and dis.ers.on. The f.ndings.s.ow that our meas.re of.MD＆A dis.los.re quality is.s.gnif.cantly and pos.tively related to f.recas. accuracy. We conducted other analys.s.in order to better unders.and the previous.relations.ip and we f.und that, if.we analyze the dif.erent inf.rmation contained in the MD＆A s.atement, f.nancial analys.s.cons.der us.f.l accounting and f.nancial data in f.recas.ing earnings. Thes. res.lts.enhance our unders.anding of.the role of.MD＆A dis.los.res.in the wide s.t of.inf.rmation that f.rms.provide to f.nancial s.atement us.rs.

Myotonic dys.rophy type 1(DM1) is.a s.liceopathy related to the mis.s.licing of.s.veral genes.caus.d by s.ques.ration of.nuclear trans.riptional RNA-binding f.ctors.f.om non-coding CUG repeats.of.DMPK pre-mRNAs. Dys.egulation of.ryanodine receptor 1(RYR1), s.rcoplas.atic/endoplas.atic Ca^2+-ATPas.(s.RCA) and α1 s.s.bunit of.voltage-gated Ca^2+ channels.Cav1.1) is.related to Ca^2+ homeos.as.s.and excitation-contraction coupling impairment. Though no pharmacological treatment f.r DM1 exis.s. aberrant s.licing correction repres.nts.one major therapeutic target f.r this.dis.as.. Res.eratrol(REs. 3,5,4′-trihydroxy-trans.s.ilbene) is.a promis.ng pharmacological tools.f.r DM1 treatment f.r its.ability to directly bind the DNA and RNA inf.uencing gene expres.ion and alternative s.licing. Herein, we analyzed the therapeutic ef.ects.of.REs.in DM1 myotubes.in a pilot s.udy including cultured myotubes.f.om two DM1 patients.and two healthy controls. Our res.lts.indicated that REs.treatment corrected the aberrant s.licing of.RYR1, and this.event appeared as.ociated with res.oring of.depolarization-induced Ca^2+ releas. f.om RYR1 dependent on the electro-mechanical coupling between RYR1 and Cav1.1. Interes.ingly, immunoblotting s.udies.s.owed that REs.treatment was.as.ociated with a reduction in the levels.of.CUGBP Elav-like f.mily member 1, while RYR1, Cav1.1 and s.RCA1 protein levels.were unchanged. f.nally, REs.treatment did not induce any major changes.either in the amount of.ribonuclear f.ci or s.ques.ration of.mus.leblind-like s.licing regulator 1. Overall, the res.lts.of.this.pilot s.udy would s.pport REs.as.an attractive compound f.r f.ture clinical trials.in DM1. Ethical approval was.obtained f.om the Ethical Committee of.IRCCs.f.ndazione Policlinico Univers.tario A. Gemelli, Rome, Italy(rs.879/14) on May 20, 2014.

Normally, indus.ries.in general, produce was.e at its.majority toxic, s.ch as.f.y as., f.r example, which damage the environment. The aim of.this.paper is.to inves.igate the evolution of.the temperature in a combus.ion reactor, f.ll of.pellets.manuf.ctured with f.y as., clay and charcoal powder, af.er s.ntering, to obtainment s.nthetic aggregates.f.r us. in civil cons.ruction. The pellets.were produced in a cement mix. f.r realization of.the work, a co-current combus.ion reactor was.made in order to analyze the temperatures.prof.le and inves.igate if.the values.of.thes. temperatures.would be s.f.icient to initiate the proces. of.s.ntering of.the pellets. Temperatures.reached in the reactor varied in the range of.800 ℃-1,290 ℃. Thes. values.are s.f.icient to initiate the proces. of.s.ntering of.the pellets. f.r the experiment realized, parameters.s.ch as.inlet velocity of.the f.uid （air）, diameters.of.the pellets.and s.ze of.charcoal crus.ed in a dis. mill were varied and the ef.ect of.variations.of.thes. parameters.were analyzed f.r the experiment. The his.orical temperatures.were recorded by a data acquis.tion ins.rument and s.bs.quently plotted f.r analys.s.
