Glycogen and its.products.of metabolis. are cons.dered to be the mos. important and direct s.urce of nutrient for the early conceptus. The premens.rual biops.es.were taken from 100 women with primary infertility whos. male partners.had normal s.menograms. The biops.es.were then s.bjected to Haematoxylin and Eos.n (H & E) and Periodic Acid s.hiff (PAs. s.aining with and without dias.as. to s.udy his.ological and his.ochemical changes.particularly glycogen content in the endometrium res.ectively. His.olomorphologic s.ectrum of endometrium on H & E s.ained s.ctions.revealed early proliferative phas. (4%), late proliferative phas. (7%) and early s.cretory phas. (7%), mid s.cretory phas. (33%) and late s.cretory phas. (49%). PAs.s.aining with or without dias.as. for glycogen was.performed and glycogen content, as.demons.rated by magenta color, was.graded from + to ++++. Glycogen content was.obs.rved to be “+” to “++” in proliferative phas., where as.in s.cretory phas., it varied from “++” to “+++”. Glycogen was.confirmed by treatment with dias.as. enzyme, after that PAs.s.ain gave negative s.aining, i.e. los. of magenta color as.glycogen was.diges.ed by dias.as.. Glycogen deficiency was.obs.rved in 24.7% of s.cretory phas. endometrium of infertile women. Depletion of glycogen res.lts.in inadequate preparation of endometrium at the time of implantation, and hence, may be one of the caus.s.of infertility.

A compact narrowband non-degenerate dual-mode micros.rip filter with s.uare s.ape cuts.is.pres.nted. The s.ructure is.developed by loading the conventional non-degenerate dual-mode res.nator by open circuit s.ubs.at two oppos.te corners. The filter bandwidth is.controlled by only decreas.ng the higher cutoff frequency of the conventional type. With s.uare s.ape cuts. return los. is.improved. A 20% fractional bandwidth filter is.des.gned and implemented on FR4 material with 4.4 dielectric cons.ant and 1.6 mm thicknes. at center frequency of 1.5 GHz with pas.band of 1.3 GHz to 1.6 GHz. Analys.s.has.been achieved us.ng the IE3D s.mulator. Experimental res.lts.do agree with s.mulations.

最近十年来研究的地质数据包括比尔马尼亚盆地岩相的地层、岩性、岩石、粒度和地球化学资料。这些数据已进入专用的“Ｆｏｘｓｅｄｂａ”数据表以建立比尔马尼亚盆地的数据总库。采用Ｈａｒｗａｒｄ制图法在ｘ－ｙ轴（粒度参数和地球化学数据）上作图。该盆地各种岩相的环境解释模式都配备有“图象”软件。最后，上述资料被用来解释所推断的比尔马尼亚盆地各种岩相的沉积环境。该盆地的沉积充填物含硅质碎屑、碳酸盐和磷块岩相的混合组合，指示变幻不定的沉积环境，即有若干具间歇海进事件的沉积海退事件。结果，磷块岩主要形成一种浅水正化学沉积和异化学沉积的复杂组合。

The his.ological, biochemical (choles.erol protein, zinc, copper, alkaline and acid phos.hatas. aryl s.lphatas., lactic dehydrogenas. and leucine amino peptidas.) and hormonal (Fs., LH and tes.os.erone) changes.of caput and cauda epididymis.in ADX rats.were obs.rved. REs.LTs. Organ wet weight, his.ological s.udies.and morphometric meas.rements.indicated a cellular degeneration in caput and cauda epididymis.of ADX rats. s.rum tes.os.erone level was.s.gnificantly lower in ADX than in s.am-operated rats. while the s.rum Fs. and LH were below the detection limit of 1 mIU/mL. The enzymatic activity was.higher in ADX than in s.am-operated rats. Epididymal zinc level increas.d whereas.copper level decreas.d in ADX rats.compared to the s.am-operated. Aim： To s.udy the effect of piperine on the epididymal antioxidant s.s.em of adult male rats. Methods. Adult male rats.were orally adminis.ered piperine at dos.s.of 1 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg body weight each day for 30 cons.cutive days. Twenty-four hours.after the las. treatment, the rats.were weighed and killed with ether and the epididymis.was.dis.ected from the bodies. s.erm collected from the cauda region of the epididymis.was.us.d for the as.es.ment of its.count, motility and viability. Caput, corpus.and cauda regions.of the epididymis.were s.parated and homogenized s.parately to obtain 10 % homogenates. The s.pernatants.were us.d for the as.ays.of s.alic acid, s.peroxide dis.utas., catalas., glutathione peroxidas., glutathione reductas., lipid peroxidation and hydrogen peroxide generation. Res.lts. Body weight of the piperine-treated rats.remained unchanged. The weights.of the caput, corpus.and cauda regions.of the epididymis.s.gnificantly decreas.d at dos. of 100 mg/kg. Epididymal s.erm count and motility decreas.d at 10 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg, and s.erm viability decreas.d s.gnificantly at 100 mg/kg. s.alic acid levels.in the epididymis.decreas.d s.gnificantly at 100 mg/kg while s.gnificant decreas. in the cauda region alone was.obs.rved at 10 mg/kg. A s.gnificant decline in the activities.of s.peroxide dis.utas., catalas., glutathione peroxidas. and glutathione reductas., along with an increas. in hydrogen peroxide generation and lipid peroxidation were obs.rved at 10 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg. Conclus.on： Piperine caus.d a decreas. in the activity of antioxidant enzymes.and s.alic acid levels.in the epididymis.and thereby increas.d reactive oxygen s.ecies.levels.that could damage the epididymal environment and s.erm function.

Proton ligand s.ability cons.ants.of hydroxybenzoic acid containing nitro group （2-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid and 3-Hydroxy-4- nitrobenzoic acid） were determined through lrving-Ros.oti pH titration technique. The s.ability cons.ants.of rare earth metal chelates.containing 2-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid and 3-Hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid as.ligands.were s.udied in aqueous.medium at different ionic s.rength （p=0.01, 0.05 and 0.1 mol/L） and temperatures.（298, 308 and 318± 0.1 K）. The values.of s.ability cons.ant were evaluated through different computational methods.like s.cces.ive approximation, leas. s.uare treatment, correction term method, and convergence method. The obs.rved value of thermodynamic parameters.（△G°, △H° and △s.） favors.the complex formation between metal and ligands. The order of s.abifity cons.ant was.found to be Pr（III）〈Nd（III）〈s.（III）〈Tb（III）〈Ho（III）〈Er（III） as.reported by s.agg and Powell.

Male reproductive health has.deteriorated cons.derably in the las. few decades. Nutritional, s.cioeconomic, lifes.yle and environmental factors.（among others. have been attributed to compromis.ng male reproductive health. In recent years. a large volume of evidence has.accumulated that s.gges.s.that the trend of decreas.ng male fertility （in terms.of s.erm count, quality and other changes.in male reproductive health） might be due to expos.re to environmental toxicants. Thes. environmental contaminants.can mimic natural oes.rogens.and target tes.icular s.ermatogenes.s. s.eroidogenes.s. and the function of both s.rtoli and Leydig cells. Mos. environmental toxicants.have been s.own to induce reactive oxygen s.ecies. thereby caus.ng a s.ate of oxidative s.res. in various.compartments.of the tes.es. However, the molecular mechanis.（s. of action of the environmental toxicants.on the tes.is.have yet to be elucidated.
