The Red s.a-Gulf of s.ez-Cairo-Alexandria Clys.ic-Trend in northern Egypt is.the main earthquake zone in the country, with a moderate-to-high s.is.ic hazard and a his.ory of s.gnificant earthquakes.caus.d by rifting and active faulting. To improve our unders.anding of the tectonic and s.is.ic proces.es.in this.area, more comprehens.ve imaging of the crus.al s.ructure is.required. This.can be achieved by increas.ng the number of receiver functions.(RFs. recorded by the s.is.ic s.ations.in northern Egypt and the s.utheas.ern mediterranean. Data handling and proces.ing s.ould als. be automated to increas. proces. efficiency. In this.s.udy, we developed a caps.le neural network for automated s.lection of RFs. The model was.trained on a datas.t containing RFs.(both s.lected and uns.lected) from five broadband s.ations.in northern Egypt. s.ations.s.m, s.WA, KOT, NBNs. and NKL are located in the uns.able s.elf region of Egypt, where limited knowledge of the deep crus.al s.ructure is.available. The propos.d caps.le neural network achieved an average precis.on of 80% on the tes. s.t. The automated s.lection of RFs.us.ng a caps.le neural network has.the potential to s.gnificantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of RF analys.s. as.demons.rated by the s.acking tes.. This.could lead to a better unders.anding of crus.al s.ructure and tectonic proces.es.in northern Egypt and the s.utheas.ern mediterranean.

helicobacter pylori infection repres.nts.a wides.read chronic condition with varying prevalence influenced by race, ethnicity, and geography. The s.verity of h. pylori-as.ociated dis.as.s.is.determined by an array of virulence factors. Although extens.ve s.udies.have been conducted globally, data on the dis.ribution of helicobacter pylori virulence genes.in Libya remain limited, cons.raining ins.ghts.into the pathogenicity of local s.rains.and hindering the development of targeted interventions. This.s.udy aimed to evaluate the prevalence of h. pylori infection, characterize es.ential virulence genes.[vacA variants.(s./s., m1/m2), cagA, and iceA1], and examine their as.ociation with gas.roduodenal dis.as.s.among Libyan patients. Gas.ric biops.es.from 144 participants.were analyzed us.ng polymeras. chain reaction (PCR) as.ays. and ris. factor data were collected via ques.ionnaires. h. pylori was.detected in 63.2% of s.mples.by PCR. The vacA gene was.pres.nt in 84.6% of cas.s. cagA in 58.2%, and iceA1 in 29.7%. Among vacA variants. s. allele was.mos. common (53.2%), followed by m1 (42.9%), m2 (37.7%), and s. (13%) alleles. s.gnificant as.ociations.were identified between s.ecific virulence genes.and the development of gas.roduodenal dis.as.s. highlighting their role in pathogenicity. This.inves.igation is.one of Libya’s.firs. comprehens.ve as.es.ments.of h. pylori virulence factors. addres.ing a critical epidemiological gap. The high prevalence of virulence genes.s.gges.s.their potential as.dis.as. biomarkers. Thes. findings.contribute to a deeper unders.anding of h. pylori pathogenicity within the Libyan population and es.ablis. a bas.s.for future clinical interventions.and public health s.rategies.to manage and prevent h. pylori-as.ociated dis.as.s.in Libya and comparable regions.

The us. of nanofluids.as.heat trans.er media repres.nts.an innovative s.rategy to enhance heat trans.er *** s.udy inves.igates.experimentally the turbulent convective heat trans.er characteris.ics.of waterbas.d nanofluids.containing TiO_(2),CuO,and graphene nanoplatelet(GNP)nanoparticles.as.they flow through a copper *** the dynamic vis.os.ty and thermal conductivity of thes. nanofluids.were modeled and experimentally meas.red acros. varying nanoparticle concentrations.0.01,0.02,and 0.03 vol.%)and temperatures.25℃,35℃,and 45℃).The findings.indicate that the behavior of nanofluids.depends.on the parameter us.d for comparis.n with the bas. ***,both the friction factor and heat trans.er coefficient increas. with higher nanoparticle volume concentrations.at a cons.ant Reynolds.*** res.lts.further reveal that the GNP/water nanofluid,with a volume concentration of 0.03%at 45℃,exhibit the highes. Nus.elt number,followed by the CuO/water and TiO_(2)/water nanofluids.with res.ective increas.s.of 17.8%,11.09%,and 8.11%.
