Des.ite the high efficiency of rem.te s.ns.ng m.thods.for rapid and large-s.ale detection of s.bs.dence phenom.na,this.technique has.lim.tations.s.ch as.atm.s.heric im.act and tem.oral and s.atial decorrelation that affect the accuracy of the *** paper propos.s.a m.thod bas.d on an artificial neural network to im.rove the res.lts.of m.nitoring land s.bs.dence due to groundwater overexploitation by radar interferom.try in the aliabad plain(Central Iran).In this.regard,vertical ground deform.tions.were m.nitored over 18 m.nths.us.ng the s.ntinel-1A s.R *** m.del the land s.bs.dence by a m.ltilayer perceptron(m.P)artificial neural network,four param.ters.including groundwater level,alluvial thicknes.,elas.ic m.dulus.and trans.is.ivity have been *** m.del's.generalizability was.as.es.ed us.ng data derived for 144 *** to the res.lts.the neural network es.im.tes.the land s.bs.dence at each ground point with an accuracy of 6.8 m..A com.aris.n between the predicted and actual values.indicated a s.gnificant *** m.P m.del can be us.d to im.rove the res.lts.of s.bs.dence detection in the s.udy area or other areas.with s.m.lar characteris.ics.

Im.ortantly, catechol es.rogens.as.endogenous.m.tabolites.of es.radiol and es.rone are precurs.rs.of reactive quinones.and s.m.quinones. which are thought to contribute to es.rogen-induced carcinogenes.s. On the other hand, a num.er of quinones.that include s.bs.ituted naphthoquinones.and anthraquinones.are highly cytotoxic and have been us.d in cancer treatm.nt. In dye-photocatalys.s. widening the wavelengths.abs.rption range of catalys.s.as.well as.aborting the recom.ination of the photoexcited charge carriers.electrons.holes.pairs. are of param.unt *** the current s.udy, we report the photocatalytic characteris.ics.of four com.os.tions.com.os.d of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.for two harm.ul dyes.Congo red and m.thylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of m.xed anatas. and rutile phas.s.in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders.while Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.pos.es. anatas. phas. only. The changes.of the band gap s.ructure and dim.ns.ons.of the unit cell volum. of TiO_(2)confirm.the s.bs.itution of Ti^(4+)s.tes.by Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Rem.rkable widening of wavelengths.abs.rption with form.tion of long abs.rption tails.were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through ins.rtion of La^(3+)plus.Cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)s.m.les.exhibit a vis.ble light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, res.ectively. Bas.d on s.m.im.ges. incorporation of Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions.influences.the s.rface m.rphology of TiO_(2). The res.lting Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.pres.nt enhanced photocatalytic activity towards.Congo red dye degradation com.ared to pure one under natural s.lar s.ectrum. The bes. Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalys. exhibits.s.perior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm.CR dye in 20 m.n as.well as.above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm.CR dye in 120 m.n. As.well, it s.owed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm.m. s.lution in 140 m.n of s.nlight irradiation. Gam.a-ray burs.s.(GRBs. are extrem.ly powerful explos.ons.that have been traditionally clas.ified into two categories. long burs.s.(LGRBs. with an obs.rved duration Ts.b>90 s.b>> 2 s. and s.ort burs.s.(s.RBs. with an obs.rved duration Ts.b>90s.b> Ts.b>90s.b> is.the tim. interval during which 90% of the fluence is.detected. LGRBs.are believed to em.nate from.the core-collaps. of m.s.ive s.ars. while s.RBs.are believed to res.lt from.the m.rging of two com.act objects. like two neutron s.ars. Becaus. LGRBs.are produced by the violent death of m.s.ive s.ars. we expect that their reds.ift dis.ribution s.ould trace the s.ar-form.tion rate (s.R). The purpos. of our s.udy is.to inves.igate the extent to which the reds.ift dis.ribution of LGRBs.follows.and reflects.the s.R. We us. a s.m.le of 370 LGRBs.taken from.the s.ift catalog, and we inves.igate different m.dels.for the LGRB reds.ift dis.ribution. We als. carry out m.nte Carlo s.m.lations.to check the cons.s.ency of our res.lts. Our res.lts.indicate that the s.R can des.ribe the LGRB reds.ift dis.ribution well for high reds.ift burs.s. but it needs.an evolution term.to fit the dis.ribution well at low reds.ift.

Background: Upper eyelid retraction is.a challenging com.lication of cos.etic upper eyelid blepharoplas.y. To avoid extra traum., we developed a new technique for correcting iatrogenic upper eyelid retraction by pos.-m.grating a com.ound flap of the orbicularis.m.s.le and fas.ia (OFC) on the anterior s.rface of the tars.l plate. This.m.thod extends.the aponeuros.s.of the levator palpebrae s.perioris.m.s.le (LPs., which can achieve a good correction for pos.-blepharoplas.y retraction. m.thods. We collected data from.15 patients.with m.ld to m.derate iatrogenic upper eyelid retraction who were treated at our hos.ital between February 2017 and Decem.er 2019. The OFC was.us.d to replace the m.s.ing part of the LPs. and pos.-m.gration of the LPs.and fixation of the OFC to the tars.l m.rgin were conducted. Pos.operative outcom. m.as.rem.nts.included pos.operative binocular s.m.etry, double eyelid s.oothnes., eyelid fullnes., m.rgin reflex dis.ance (m.D1), degree of eyelid clos.re, and expos.re keratitis. The patients.were followed-up at s.ven days. one m.nth, and s.x m.nths.pos.operatively. Res.lts. One patient with m.derate eyelid retraction s.owed undercorrection 6 m.nths.pos.operatively, with the upper eyelid m.rgin located at the upper edge of the pupil. The rem.ining patients.had the upper eyelid m.rgin s.abilized at 1.0–2.0 m. below the upper corneal m.rgin. Other obs.rvational indicators.were s.tis.actory, including binocular s.m.etry, double eyelid fluency, and eyelid fullnes.. During the follow-up, no expos.re keratitis.was.identified. The m.D1 indexes.after the operation were s.gnificantly different (Pm.thos. before the procedure. Conclus.ons. Extens.on and pos.-m.gration of the LPs.us.ng the orbicularis.m.s.le and OFC s.ructure can effectively correct m.ld iatrogenic eyelid retraction after ptos.s.with les. dam.ge and good pos.operative eyelid m.rphology and clos.re function. © 2024 China m.dical Cos.etology Pres.
