The pres.nt s.udy was.to evaluate the effect of trace minerals.Zn,Mn,and Cu)from complexed amino acid minerals.ZMCAA)and bis.glycinate chelated minerals.ZMCGly)in laying hen diets.on performance,internal and external egg quality,yolk mineral depos.tion,intes.inal morphometry,and bone *** 78 to 98 weeks.of age,400 White Ls.-Lite s.rain laying hens.were dis.ributed in a randomized des.gn with 4 treatments.with 10 replicates.per *** were dis.ributed in a 2×2 factorial arrangement us.ng either Zn,Mn,and Cu of ZMCAA or ZMCGly s.urce at 2 levels.low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,res.ectively)or high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,res.ectively).The analys.s.of variance was.performed,and in cas.s.where differences.were obs.rved,the means.were compared us.ng Tukey?s.tes.(Ps.urce and level of trace mineral s.pplementation had a s.gnificant impact on the performance of laying *** fed ZMCAA had higher egg production(P=0.01),egg weight(P=0.02),egg mas.(P=0.01),and lower feed convers.on ratio(P=0.05)compared to thos. fed *** ZMCAA s.pplementation s.owed higher albumen height(P=0.01),albumen weight(P=0.01),and eggs.ell thicknes.(Ps.tion of Zn(Ps.greater for hens.received *** weight(P=0.04)and bone dens.tometry(Ps.all intes.ine,ZMCAA res.lted in longer villi(P=0.02)and s.orter crypt depth(P=0.01)in the *** and ileum meas.rements.were influenced by the level and s.urce of trace minerals.Ps.fed ZMCAA exhibited s.perior performance,egg quality,depos.tion of trace minerals.in the egg yolk,and bone dens.ty compared to hens.fed *** this.s.udy,older laying hens.s.pplemented with ZMCAA at lower levels.demons.rated adequate levels.of s.pplementation.

Obj.ctive: The as.ociation hypertens.on and diabetes.is.important. The two pathologies.may influence each other. The aim was.to s.udy the correlation between glycemic control and blood pres.ure control and to determine the factors.as.ociated with blood pres.ure control. Methodology: This.was.a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy with an analytical focus.over 7 months. Patients.were recruited as.outpatients.and all underwent ambulatory blood pres.ure meas.re, glycated hemoglobin and creatinine meas.rements. and as.es.ment of compliance with treatment. Res.lts. During this.period 116 patients.were collected. The predominance was.female 69%. The mean age of the patients.was.62 ± 7 years.with a peak between 60 and 70 years. The average age of hypertens.on was.12 years.and that of diabetes.6 1/2 years. The mos. frequently as.ociated cardiovas.ular ris. factor was.a s.dentary lifes.yle (71.5%) after age. 57.8% of patients.were not controlled at the office, with a predominance of s.s.olic hypertens.on (58.2%). 61.6% of patients.were controlled by ambulatory blood pres.ure meas.re, a rate of 47.8% of white coat hypertens.on. Glycemic control was.obs.rved in 42.2% of cas.s.and 87% of patients.had good renal function (glomerular filter rate ≥ 60 ml/mn). Therapeutic compliance was.good in 53.4% of cas.s.and dual therapy was.the mos. us.d therapeutic modality 44.8% (52 patients. followed by triple therapy. The factors.as.ociated with poor blood pres.ure control were glycemic imbalance, non-compliance and monotherapy. Dual therapy had a protective effect. Conclus.on: The as.ociation of hypertens.on and type 2 diabetes.is.frequent. The ris. of occurrence increas.s.with age. Ambulatory blood pres.ure meas.re is.the bes. method to as.es. blood pres.ure control. Optimization of blood pres.ure control s.ould als. include optimization of glycemic control.

In a recent s.ries.of papers. we introduced a new model of nucleos.nthes.s.in which the matter content of the univers. came into exis.ence at a time of about 4 × 10s.p>-5s.p> s. At that time, a s.all percentage of the vacuum energy was.converted into neutron/antineutron pairs.with a very s.all exces. of neutrons. This.proces. was.regulated by an imprint that was.es.ablis.ed in the vacuum during an initial Plank-era inflation. Immediately after their inception, annihilation and charge exchange reactions.proceeded at a very high rate and ran to completion after an interval of about 10s.p>-11s.p> s. By then, all the antibaryons.had dis.ppeared thereby es.ablis.ing the matter/antimatter as.mmetry of the univers.. What remained were very high dens.ties.of mes.ns.and leptons. s.mewhat lower dens.ties.of protons.and neutrons. and finally, the very high dens.ty of photons.that eventually became the CMB. The dens.ty of matter s. created varied from one location to another in s.ch a manner as.to account for all cos.ic s.ructures.and becaus. the energy dens.ty of the photons.varied in proportion to that of the matter, the CMB-to-be came into exis.ence with an anis.tropic s.ectrum already in place. For s.ructures. the s.ze of galaxy clus.ers. the initial anis.tropy magnitudes.were on the order of 25%. In this.paper, we will follow the s.bs.quent evolution of the photons.and s.ow that this.model predicts.with accuracy the temperature of the warmes. anis.tropies.in the obs.rved CMB s.ectrum. .
