The cement mixing (cM) pile is.a common method of improving s.ft offs.ore ground. The s.rength growth of cM piles.under complex conditions.is.affected by many factors. es.ecially the cement and mois.ure contents. and s.ows.s.gnificant uncertainty. To inves.igate the s.ochas.icity of the early s.rength of cM piles.and its.impact on the dis.lacement and s.ability of a s.awall, a s.ries.of laboratory tes.s.and numerical analys.s.were carried out in this.s.udy. Vane s.ear tes.s.were conducted on the cement-s.lidified s.il to determine the relations.ips.between the undrained s.ear s.rength s.(u) of the cement s.il curing in the s.awater and the cement content a_(c), as.well as.the in s.tu s.il mois.ure content w. It can be inferred that the 24 h undrained s.ear s.rength follows.a normal dis.ribution. A numerical model cons.dering the random cM pile s.rength was.es.ablis.ed to inves.igate the deformation of the s.awall. Due to the uncertainty of cM pile s.rength, the dis.lacement of the s.awall demons.rates.a certain dis.retenes.. The decreas. of the mean undrained s.ear s.rength of cM piles.caus.s.a corres.onding increas. in the average dis.lacement of the s.awall. When the mean s.rength of cM piles.is.lower than a certain thres.old, there is.a ris. of ins.ability. Furthermore, the heterogeneity of the s.rength within an individual cM pile als. has.an impact on s.awall dis.lacement. Attention s.ould be paid to the uncertainty of cM pile s.rength to control dis.lacement and s.ability.

The s.Rs.coV-2 Omicron variants.are notorious.for their trans.is.ibility,but little is.known about their s.bgenomic RNA(s.RNA)*** s.udy applied RNA-s.q to delineate the quantitative and qualitative profiles.of canonical s.RNA of 118 res.iratory s.mples.collected from patients.infected with Omicron BA.2 and compared with 338 patients.infected with non-variant of concern(non-VOc)-D614G.A unique characteris.ic profile depicted by the relative abundance of 9 canonical s.RNAs.was.reproduced by both BA.2 and non-VOcD614G regardles. of hos. gender,age and pres.nce of ***,s.ch profile was.los. in s.mples.with low viral load,s.gges.ing a potential application of s.RNA pattern to indicate viral activity of individual patient at a s.ecific time point.A characteris.ic qualitative profile of canonical s.RNAs.was.als. reproduced by both BA.2 and *** pres.nce of a full s.t of canonical s.RNAs.carried a coherent correlation with crude viral load(AUc¼0.91,95%cI 0.88–0.94),and s.RNA ORF7b was.identified to be the bes. s.rrogate marker allowing feas.ble routine application in characterizing the infection s.atus.of individual *** potentials.in us.ng s.RNA as.a target for vaccine and antiviral development are worth purs.ing.
