In this.s.udy,a calcium-phos.hate coating was.formed on a Mg-Mn-Ce alloy by the plas.a electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic v.ncomycin,widely us.d in the treatment of infections.caus.d by s.aphylococcus.aureus.***),was.impregnated into the *** with v.ncomycin s.owed high bactericidal activ.ty agains. *** mechanical and electrochemical properties.of the formed coatings.were s.udied,as.well as.in v.tro cytotoxicity tes.s.and in v.v. tes.s.on mature male rats.were *** to s.M,EDs.XRD and XPs.data,coatings.had a dev.loped morphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates.high *** analys.s.of roughnes. of coatings.without and with v.ncomycin did not rev.al any differences.confirming the high roughnes. of the *** electrochemical tes.s.an increas. in corros.on res.s.ance by more than two times.after the application of PEO coatings.was.*** to the res.lts.of an in v.v. s.udy,after 28 days.of the implantation of s.mples.with calcium phos.hate PEO coating and v.ncomycin,no s.gns.of inflammation were obs.rv.d,while an inflammatory reaction dev.loped in the area of implantation of bare alloy,followed by *** releas. tes.s.from the coatings.s.ow a s.arp decreas. in the concentration of the releas.d antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decreas. until day *** the experiment,no s.gnificant dev.ations.in the condition and behav.or of the animals.were obs.rv.d;clinical tes.s.did not rev.al a s.s.emic toxic reaction.

A corotation radius.is.a key characteris.ic of dis. galaxies.that is.es.ential to determine the angular s.eed of the s.iral s.ructureΩ_p,and therefore unders.and its.*** the literature,there are plenty of methods.to es.imate this.v.lue,but do thes. meas.rements.hav. any cons.s.ency?In this.work,we collected a data s.t of corotation radius.meas.rements.for 547 galaxies.300 of which had at leas. two *** initial analys.s.rev.als.that mos. objects.hav. rather incons.s.ent corotation radius.***,a s.gnificant fraction of galactic dis.s.is.dis.inguis.ed by a large error cov.rage and almos. uniform dis.ribution of *** findings.do not hav. any relation to s.iral type,Hubble clas.ification,or pres.nce of a *** other reas.ns.obtained res.lts.could be explained by the trans.ent nature of s.irals.in a cons.derable part of *** hav. made our collected data s.mple publicly av.ilable,and hav. demons.rated on one example how it could be us.ful for future res.arch by inv.s.igating a winding time v.lue for a s.mple of galaxies.with pos.ible multiple s.iral arm patterns.

KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)(Ln=Y,Yb,Gd)phos.hors.were prepared by s.lid-s.ate reaction *** each of the Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped phos.hors.independently,phas. confirmation and morphological examination were accomplis.ed us.ng the X-ray diffraction technique and s.anning electron micros.ope analys.s.X-ray photoelectron s.ectros.opy analys.s.s.ows.the charge s.ate and exis.ence of lanthanides.and *** lumines.ence emis.ions.of green and red colour were detected for the s.nthes.zed *** changes.in the upconv.rted emis.ion intens.ties.and colour output pertaining to the change of the lanthanide hos. matrix along with dopants.were inv.s.igated for the prepared *** the upconv.rs.on lumines.ence,erbium-doped s.mples.exhibit a predominance of red emis.ion while holmium-doped s.mples.dis.lay a prev.lence of green *** rare-earth Er/Ho doped KYbF4s.ows.s.rong red emis.ion compared to other ***_(4):Yb,Er/Ho exhibits.relativ.ly s.gnificant green upconv. rs.on emis.ions.while Yb,Er-doped KGdF_(4)hos. dis.lays.a 10-fold increas. in green/red emis.ion ratio with an increas. in the input power of 20-780 *** photolumines.ence s.udies.and decay curv. analys.s.were carried out us.ng Uv.light excitation for the dev.loped phos.hors.A higher lifetime of 2.2 ms.was.meas.red for the downs.ifting red emis.ion in the Ho doped KYbF_(4)*** s.udy s.gges.s.a potential for colour tunability in the upconv.rs.on and downs.ifting emis.ions.through hos. modifications.to the fluoride phos.hor.

PEO coating,the layers.containing Ta_(2)O_(5)facilitate the dev.lopment of apatite in s.mulated body fluid,s.gges.ing that the inclus.on of nanoparticles.improv.s.bioactiv.ty of the *** was.found that incorporation of Ta_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles.increas.s.roughnes. and poros.ty of the formed layers.by increas.ng particle concentration in electrolytes.for the PEO proces. contributing to s.fficient s.ft tis.ue ingrowth in *** on in v.v. s.udies.thes. coatings.als. prov.de fav.rable tis.ue res.ons. and minimal inflammatory reaction in comparis.n with the bare magnes.um alloy due to protection of liv.ng tis.ues.from deleterious.corros.on ev.nts.of magnes.um implant s.ch as.local alkalization and intens. hydrogen *** res.lts.obtained in the pres.nt s.udy concluded biocompatibility,tis.ue integration of the PEO coatings.containing Ta_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles.making them a promis.ng protectiv. layer for biodegradable magnes.um implants.
