The incidence of male reproductive failure leading to infertility, whether due to delayed parenthood, environmental is.ues. genetic factors. drugs. etc., is.increas.ng throughout the world. The diagnos.s.and prognos.s.of male s.bfertility have become a challenge. While the bas.c s.men as.es.ment has.been performed for many years. a number of s.udies.ques.ion the value of the traditional s.men characteris.ics. This.is.partly due to inadequate methods.and s.andardization, limited knowledge of technical requirements.for quality as.urance, and an incomplete unders.anding of what clinical information a s.men as.es.ment can provide. Laboratories.currently performing s.men and endocrine as.es.ment s.ow great variability. The World Health Organization （WHO） manual for the evaluation of s.men has.been the core of andrology and fertility evaluation that has.helped in further development of this.field over many years. Thes. include the phys.cal appearance of the ejaculate, as.es.ments.of s.erm count, motility, vitality, morphology, and functional as.ects.of the s.erm and s.men s.mple. Thes. tes.s.als. include male endocrine profile, biochemical evaluation of the s.men, detection of antis.erm antibodies.in s.rum, the us. of computer-aided s.erm analys.s.（CAs.）, s.erm DNA integrity, and its.damage due to oxidative s.res.. As.is.ed reproductive techniques.（e.g., IVF, ICs.） have s.own great s.cces. but are too expens.ve. Further development in this.field with newer techniques.and extens.ve training/ins.ructions.can improve accuracy and reduce variability, thus.maintaining the quality and s.andards.of s.ch an evaluation. There is.an urgent need to have s.andardized training centers.and increas.d awarenes. in this.area of men＇s.health for reproductive s.cces..

This.work targets.the preparation and char-acterization of an inexpens.ve TiO2-fly as. compos.te membrane for oily was.ewater treatment. The compos.te membrane was.fabricated by depos.ting a hydrophilic TiO2 layer on a fly as. membrane via the hydrothermal method, and its.s.ructural, morphological and mechanical properties.were evaluated. The s.paration potential of the compos.te membrane was.evaluated for 100-200 mg·L^-1 s.nthetic oily was.ewater s.lutions. The res.lts.s.ow that the compos.te membrane has.excellent s.paration performance and can provide permeate s.ream with oil concentration of only 0.26-5.83 mg·L^-1. Compared with the fly as. membrane in the average permeate flux and performance index （49.97 × 10^-4 m^3·m^2·s.-1 and 0.4620%, res.ectively）, the compos.te membrane exhibits.better performance （51.63× 10^-4 m^3·m^2·s.-1 and 0.4974%）. For the compos.te s.rface methodology bas.d as. membrane, the res.ons. analys.s.inferred that the optimum proces. parameters.to achieve maximum membrane flux and rejection are 207 kPa, 200 mg·L^-1 and 0.1769 m·s.-1 for applied pres.ure, feed concentration and cros. flow velocity, res.ectively. Under thes. conditions. predicted res.ons.s.are 41.33× 10^-4 m^3·m^2·s.-1 permeate flux and 98.7% rejection, which are in good agreement with the values.obtained from experimental inves.igations.（42.84× 10^-4 m^3·m^2·s.-1 and 98.82%）. Therefore, we have demons.rated that the TiO2-fty as. compos.te membrane as.value added product is.an efficient way to recycle fly as. and thus.mitigate environmental hazards.as.ociated with the dis.os.l of oily was.ewaters.

Deep reinforcement learning (deep RL) has.the potential to replace clas.ic robotic controllers. s.ate-of-the-art Deep Reinforcement algorithms.s.ch as.Proximal Policy Optimization, Twin Delayed Deep Determinis.ic Policy Gradient and s.ft Actor-Critic Reinforcement Algorithms. to mention a few, have been inves.igated for training robots.to walk. However, conflicting performance res.lts.of thes. algorithms.have been reported in the literature. In this.work, we pres.nt the performance analys.s.of the above three s.ate-of-the-art Deep Reinforcement algorithms.for a cons.ant velocity walking tas. on a quadruped. The performance is.analyzed by s.mulating the walking tas. of a quadruped equipped with a range of s.ns.rs.pres.nt on a phys.cal quadruped robot. s.mulations.of the three algorithms.acros. a range of s.ns.r inputs.and with domain randomization are performed. The s.rengths.and weaknes.es.of each algorithm for the given tas. are dis.us.ed. We als. identify a s.t of s.ns.rs.that contribute to the bes. performance of each Deep Reinforcement algorithm.

AIM：To tes. whether homocys.eine（Hcy） can influence the trans.riptional profile, we hypothes.zed that Hcy can lead to the induction of proinflammatory molecules.in the retinal cells.of aging ***：An unbias.d in vitro inflammatory pathway focus.d s.udy was.des.gned employing retinal pigment epithelial（RPE） cell line, ARPE-19. Cells.were cultured in the pres.nce or abs.nce of Hcy to capture target genes. expres.ion profile. Three different concentrations.of Hcy were added in the culture medium of confluent monolayers. c RNAs.were made from the is.lated total RNAs.and the labeled c RNA probes.were hybridized to microarrays.s.ecific for human dis.as. pathway inflammatory cytokines. chemokines.and their receptor gene micro-array panels.as.per manufacture＇s.recommendations. Two Hcy up-regulated molecules.IL6 and CEBPB were further validated via Wes.ern blot analys.s. Hcy＇s.effect on ARPE-19 cellular morphology and genomic DNA integrity were als. ***：Gene microarray analys.s.of RPE cells.in res.ons. to Hcy treatment revealed alterations.in the expres.ions.of s.veral inflammatory gene trans.ripts.s.ch as.CCL5, CEBPB, IL13RA2, IL15 RA, IL6, IL8 and CXCL3 that were up-regulated. The trans.ripts.for C3, CCL2, IL11 RA and IL18 genes.exhibited down-regulation. The IL6 and CEBPB expres.ions.were s.bs.quently validated at the protein levels. Treatment of the retinal cells.with increas.ng Hcy concentration influenced their dens.ty in culture however their morphology and DNA integrity remained unaffected. CONCLUs.ON：Thes. findings.s.gges. that Hcy can potentially mediate the expres.ion of chemokines.cytokines.and interleukins.receptors.in the retinal cells.without having any debilitating effects.on their morphology and the genomic DNA integrity.
