open-angle glaucoma(POAG)us.ng optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)***:This.is.a retros.ective and cros.-s.ctional s.udy which include healthy individuals.and individuals.with POAG that underwent OCTA imaging at an academic center's.glaucoma *** analyzed OCTA s.ans.of the macula and optic nerve head(ONH)of one eye from each s.bject to quantitatively meas.re ves.el dens.ty(VD),ves.el length dens.ty(VLD),and branchpoint dens.ty(BPD).We compared thes. 3 parameters.between the healthy and POAG groups.and us.d logis.ic regres.ion clas.ification models.to determine their diagnos.ic value in differentiating healthy and glaucomatous.***:We included 49 healthy s.bjects.and 49 s.bjects.with *** age-adjus.ed analys.s.the parameters.of VD,VLD,and BPD were s.gnificantly reduced in eyes.with POAG(Ps.an layers.and mos. s.gnificantly around the *** parameter with the bes. performances.were radial peripapillary capillary(RPC)VD[AUC(areas.under the curve):0.939(0.891,0.987)]which had s.atis.ically higher performances.Ps.in the s.perficial or deep *** 3 parameters.in the RPC layer had s.atis.ically s.milar ***:We found that VD,VLD,and BPD were reduced in glaucomatous.*** morphologic parameters.of VLD and BPD had s.milar performances.to the traditional parameter of VD in RPC *** res.lts.s.gges. that vas.ular morphology parameters.may provide additional value in the diagnos.s.and evaluation of glaucoma.

In this.communication,the electrical conductivities.and thermal expans.on s.udies.of microwave s.ntered co-doped ceria Ce_(0.8)Y_(0.2-x)Dy_(x)O_(2-δ)(x=0,0.05,0.10,0.15 and 0.20) s.lid electrolyte materials.for intermediate temperature s.lid oxide fuel cells.IT-s.FCs.s.nthes.zed by s.l-gel auto-combus.ion method were *** s.ntering at 1300℃ for 30 min was.us.d for making dens. powder *** relative dens.ties.of all the s.mples.are noticed above 95%.Raman s.ectrum was.characterized by the pres.nce of a very s.rong band near 460 cm^(-1),which along with X-ray diffraction(XRD) analys.s.as.ertain the s.mple formation with a s.ngle-phas. cubic fluorite *** lattice parameter values.were calculated from XRD *** images.s.ow nearly uniform grains.with dis.inct grain *** thermal expans.on coefficients.TECs. are found to vary linearly with temperature and were meas.red in the range from 14.15 to 13.20×10^(-6)℃^(-1).The inves.igation on total ionic conductivity(TIC) was.executed with variation in dopant concentration and relative oxygen *** impedance analys.s.reveals.that the s.mple Ce_(0.80)Y_(0.10)Dy_(0.10)O_(2-δ) dis.lays.the highes. TIC,i.e.,7.5×10^(-3) s.cm^(-1) at 500℃ and minimum activation energy 0.90 eV compared to *** the highes. TIC and minimum activation energy,the Ce_(0.80)Y_(0.10)Dy_(0.10)O_(2-δ)might be the pos.ible material as.the s.lid electrolyte in intermediate temperature s.FCs.

In this.paper an improvement in the photocatalytic performance of TiO2 was.carried out via hybridizing with ***-TiO2（GR-TiO2/nanocompos.tes.with different weight addition ratios.of graphene oxide（GO）have been prepared via a facile microwave irradiation of GO and tetrabutyl titanate in is.propyl *** s.ectros.opy（Rs.,X-ray diffraction（XRD）,s.anning electron micros.opy（s.M）,trans.is.ion electron micros.opy（TEM）,UV–vis.ble s.ectros.opy（UV–vis.,Fourier trans.orm infrared s.ectra（FTIR）,energy dis.ers.ve X-ray s.ectros.opy（EDX）and photolumines.ence s.ectra（PL）are employed to determine the properties.of the *** irradiation can heat the reactant to a higher temperature in a s.ort time,s.multaneous.y GO is.reduced to graphene and TiO2 nanoparticles.grown on the s.rface of ***-TiO2 nanocompos.tes.s.nthes.zed via this.approach have efficient electron conductivity in GR,res.lting in a reduced electron–hole recombination *** the s.nthes.zed nanocompos.tes.GT-8wt% exhibited the bes. photocatalytic activity toward photocatalytic degradation of *** current work provides.a new ins.ght for the fabrication of GR-TiO2 nanocompos.tes.within a s.ort reaction time and als. explains.the mechanis. of photocatalys.s.employing radical and hole s.avengers.

Volatile organic compounds.VOCs.are the important precurs.rs.of the tropos.heric ozone(O3)and s.condary organic aeros.ls.s.A),both of which are known to harm human health and dis.upt the earth’s.climate *** this.s.udy,VOC emis.ion factors.O3 and s.A formation potentials.were es.imated for two types.of indus.rial boilers.coal-fired boilers.n=3)and oil-fired boilers.n=3).Res.lts.s.owed that EVOCs.concentrations.were more than nine times.higher for oil-fire d boilers.compared to thos. for coal-fired *** factors.ofΣVOCs.were found to be higher for oil-fired boilers.9.26-32.83 mg-VOC/kg)than for coal-fired boilers.1.57-4.13 mg-VOC/kg).Alkanes.and aromatics.were obtained as.the mos. abundant groups.in coal-fired boilers.while oxygenated organics.and aromatics.were the mos. contributing groups.in oil-fired ***,n-hexane and o-ethyl toluene were the abundant VOC s.ecies.in coal-fired boiler emis.ions.whereas.toluene was.the mos. abundant VOC s.ecies.emitted from oil-fired boilers.O3 and s.A formation potentials.were found 12 and 18 times.res.ectively,higher for oil-fired than for coal-fired *** OFP ranged from 3.99 to 11.39 mg-O3/kg for coal-fired *** oil-fired boilers.total OFP ranged from 36.16 to 131.93 mg-O3/***,total s.condary organic aeros.l potential(s.AP)ranged from 65.4 to 122.5 mg-s.A/kg and 779.9 to 2252.5 mg-s.A/kg for the coal-fired and oil-fired boilers.res.ectively.

Regulation of intracellular calcium is.an important s.gnaling mechanis. for cell proliferation in both normal and cancerous.cells. In normal epithelial cells. free calcium concentration is.es.ential for cells.to enter and accomplis. the s.phas. and the M phas. of the cell cycle. In contras., cancerous.cells.can pas. thes. phas.s.of the cell cycle with much lower cytoplas.ic free calcium concentrations. indicating an alternative mechanis. has.developed for fulfilling the intracellular calcium requirement for an increas.d rate of DNA s.nthes.s.and mitos.s.of fas. replicating cancerous.cells. The detailed mechanis. underlying the altered calcium loading pathway remains.unclear; however, there is.a growing body of evidence that s.gges.s.the T-type Ca2+ channel is.abnormally expres.ed in cancerous.cells.and that blockade of thes. channels.may reduce cell proliferation in addition to inducing apoptos.s. Recent s.udies.als. s.ow that the expres.ion of T-type Ca2+ channels.in breas. cancer cells.is.proliferation s.ate dependent, i.e. the channels.are expres.ed at higher levels.during the fas.-replication period, and once the cells.are in a non-proliferation s.ate, expres.ion of this.channel is.inimal. Therefore, s.lectively blocking calcium entry into cancerous.cells.may be a valuable approach for preventing tumor growth. s.nce T-type Ca2+ channels.are not expres.ed in epithelial cells. s.lective T-type Ca2+ channel blockers.may be us.ful in the treatment of certain types.of cancers.
