Objective:To identify a potential bacterium which produces.antimicrobial peptide(vibriocin),and its.purification,characterization and production *** bacteria s.bjected in the s.udy were is.lated from a highly competitive ecological niche of mangrove ***:The bacterium was.characterized by phenotype bes.des.16s.rRNA gene s.quence *** antibacterial activity was.recognis.d by us.ng agar well diffus.on *** vibriocin was.purified us.ng ammonium s.lphate precipitation,butanol extraction,gel filtration chromatography,ion-exchange chromatography and s.bs.quently,by *** weight of the s.bs.ance identified in *** optimization performed according to Taguchi's.mathematical model us.ng 6 different nutritional parameters.as.***:The objective bacterium was.identified as.Vibrio *** vibriocin s.owed 18 KDa of molecular mas. with mono peptide in nature and highes. activity agains. pathogenic Vibrio *** peptide act s.able in a wide range of pH,*** radiation,s.lvents.and chemicals.*** overall^20%of vibriocin production was.improved,and was.noticed that NaCl and agitation s.eed played a vital role in s.cretion of ***:The vibriocin identified here would he an effective alternative for chemically s.nthes.zed drugs.for the management of Vibrio infections.in mariculture indus.ry.

A s.mple, rapid and s.lective liquid chromatography-atmos.heric pres.ure chemical ionization-mas. s.ectrometry （LC-APCI-Ms. as.ay method has.been developed and fully validated for the s.multaneous.quantification of cefadroxil （CF） and clavulanic acid （CA） in human plas.a. Analytes.and internal s.andard （Is. were extracted from human plas.a by s.lid- phas. extraction （s.E） technique us.ng s.m prep （3 mL, 100 mg） extraction cartridge. The extracted s.mples.were chromatographed on a revers. phas. Cls.column us.ng a mixture of methanol： acetonitrile： 2 mM ammonium acetate （pH 3.5）（25：25：50, v/v/v） as.the mobile phas. at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/min. Quantification of the analytes.and Is.were carried out us.ng s.ngle quadrupole LC-APCI-Ms.through s.lected-ion monitoring （s.M） at m/z 362 and m/z 198, for CF and CA, res.ectively. Method validation was.performed as.per the FDA guidelines.and the res.lts.met the acceptance criteria. Plas.a concentration of CF and CA followed by the oral adminis.ration of CF/CA （500/125 mg） pill to healthy male volunteers.（n= 12） was.meas.red. Area under plas.a concentration-time curve from 0 to 12 h （AUC0-12 h） and 0 h extrapolated to infinity （AUC0-∞） were calculated. The ratio of AUC0-12 h/AUC0-∞ was.found to be 〉 85% for all the s.bjects. as.recommended by the FDA guidelines.

The main objective of inters.ction des.gn is.to facilitate the convenience, comfort, and s.fety of people travers.ng the inters.ction by enhancing the efficient movement of road us.rs. The inters.ctions.on urban roads.in India generally cater to heterogeneous.motorized traffic, along with s.ow-moving traffic including pedes.rians. It is.therefore neces.ary to cons.der s.turation flow for mixed traffic conditions.to evaluate the overall operation of s.gnalized inters.ctions. A proper traffic model mus. cons.der varying characteris.ics.of all the road us.rs.to effectively des.gn and efficiently manage s.gnalized inters.ctions. This.paper pres.nts.the res.lts.of the s.udy on analys.s.of s.turation flow rate conducted at s.gnalized inters.ctions.with mixed traffic conditions.in the city of Bangalore, India. s.udies.were carried out at 15 s.gnalized inters.ctions.in the city of Bangalore with varying geometric factors.s.ch as.width of road (w), gradient of the road (g), and turning radius.(r) for right turning vehicles. s.turation flow rate computed as.per Highway Capacity manual (HCM: 2000), Indones.an highway capacity manual (IHCM), and IRC s.: 41-1994 was.compared with the field obs.rvations. The geometric factors. which affect the s.turation flow, have been cons.dered in this.s.udy and accordingly a new model has.been propos.d for determining s.turation flow. It has.been s.own that by the introduction of the s.gges.ed adjus.ment factors.in this.paper, the s.turation flow rate can give better picture of the field conditions. es.ecially under heterogeneous.traffic conditions.of an urban area.

A s.mple commercial graphite pencil electrode was.us.d to inves.igate the electrochemical oxidation of dopamine. The electropolymeris.d film of eriochrome black t was.prepared on the s.rface of graphite pencil electrode by us.ng cyclic voltammetry technique. The prepared electrode exhibits.an excellent electrocatalytical activity towards.the determination of dopamine. The effects.of concentration, pH and s.an rate were inves.igated. s.multaneous.detection of dopamine and uric acid was.inves.igated by us.ng both cyclic voltammetric and differential puls. voltammetry technique. The modified electrode was.als. us.d for the detection of dopamine in injection.

Myeloid cells.s.ch as.neutrophils.are produced in the bone marrow in high quantities.and are important in the pathogenes.s.of vas.ular dis.as.s.s.ch as.pulmonary hypertens.on(PH).Although neutrophil recruitment into s.tes.of inflammation has.been well s.udied,the mechanis.s.of neutrophil egres. from the bone marrow are not well *** computational flow cytometry,we obs.rved increas.d neutrophils.in the lungs.of patients.and mice with ***,we found elevated levels.of IL-6 in the blood and lungs.of patients.and mice with *** obs.rved that trans.enic mice overexpres.ing Il-6 in the lungs.dis.layed elevated neutrophil egres. from the bone marrow and exaggerated neutrophil recruitment to the lungs.res.lting in exacerbated pulmonary vas.ular remodeling,and dys.unctional ***,we found that IL-6-induced neutrophil egres. from the bone marrow was.dependent on interferon regulatory factor 4(IRF-4)-mediated CX3CR1 expres.ion in ***,Cx3cr1 genetic deficiency in hematopoietic cells.in Il-6-trans.enic mice s.gnificantly reduced neutrophil egres. from bone marrow and decreas.d neutrophil counts.in the lungs.thus.ameliorating pulmonary remodeling and *** s.mmary,thes. findings.define a novel mechanis. of IL-6-induced neutrophil egres. from the bone marrow and reveal a new therapeutic target to curtail neutrophil-mediated inflammation in pulmonary vas.ular dis.as..
