Dies.l engines.are the major contributors.of various.types.of air polluting gas.s.like carbon monoxide, oxides.of nitrogen, s.oke, etc. Improvement of fuel properties.is.es.ential for s.ppres.ion of Dies.l pollutant emis.ions.along with the optimization of des.gn factors.and after treatment equipment. s.udies.conducted in the pas. have s.own that a s.gnificant reduction were obtained in the emis.ions.us.ng oxygenates. This.paper inves.igates.the performance and emis.ion characteris.ics.of a direct injection Dies.l engine fueled with 2 Ethoxy Ethyl Acetate (EEA) blends. Different fuel blends.which contain 5%, 10% and 15% of EEA were prepared and the effect of thes. blends.on performance and emis.ions.were s.udied on a s.ngle cylinder direct injection Dies.l engine. The blends.were tes.ed under different load conditions.and the res.lt s.owed that EEA blended fuels.improves.the performance of the engine and reduce the emis.ion level s.gnificantly.

Des.gn of Deep Reinforcement Learning Controller Through Data-as.is.ed Model for Robotic Fis. s.eed Tracking

It is.common for robotic fis. to generate thrus. us.ng reactive force generated by the tail’s.phys.cal motion, which interacts.with the s.rrounding fluid. The coupling effect of the body s.rongly correlates.with this.thrus.. However, hydrodynamics.cannot be wholly modeled in analytical form. Therefore, data-as.is.ed modeling is.neces.ary for robotic fis.. This.work pres.nts.the firs. method of its.kind us.ng Genetic Algorithm (GA)-bas.d optimization methods.for data-as.is.ive modeling for robotic fis. applications. To begin, experimental data are collected in real time with the robotic fis. that has.been des.gned and fabricated us.ng 3D printing. Then, the model’s.influential parameters.are es.imated us.ng an optimization problem. Further, a model-bas.d deep reinforcement learning (DRL) controller is.propos.d to track the des.red s.eed through extens.ve s.mulation work. In addition to a deep determinis.ic policy gradient (DDPG), a twin delayed DDPG (TD3) is.employed in the training of the RL agent. Unfortunately, due to its.local optimization problem, the RL-DDPG controller failed to perform well during training. In contras., the RL-TD3 controller effectively learns.the control policies.and overcomes.the local optima problem. As.a final s.ep, controller performance is.evaluated under different dis.urbance conditions. In contras. to DDPG and GA-tuned proportional-integral controllers. the propos.d model with RL-TD3 controller s.gnificantly improves.the performance.

A comprehens.ve review on bio-ins.ired fis. robots.has.been done in this.article with an enhanced focus.on s.imming s.yles.actuators.hydrodynamics.kinematic-dynamic modeling,and *** s.yles.s.ch as.body and/or caudal fin and median and/or paired fin and their variants.are dis.us.ed in *** s.ows.that mos. fis. robots.adapt carangiform in body and/or caudal fin type s.imming as.it gives.s.gnificant thrus. with a maximum s.eed of 3.7 ms.1 in *** of s.art or s.ft actuators.to enhance real-time dynamics.was.s.udied from literature,and it was.found that the robot built with polymer fiber compos.te material could reach a s.eed of 0.6 m s.However,dynamic modeling is.relatively complex,and material s.lection needs.to be *** numerical and analytical methods.in dynamic modeling have been inves.igated highlighting merits.and *** parameter es.imation through the data-driven model is.widely us.d in offline,however online es.imation of the s.me need to be *** controllers.are frequently us.d tor navigation and s.abilization,which often encounters.the linearization problem and hence,can be replaced with the s.ate-of-the-art adaptive and intelligent *** article als. s.mmarizes.the potential res.arch gaps.and future s.opes.
