On the Kpinnou ranch in Benin, it was.obs.rved that the Girolando dairy cattle which graze Panieum maximum var. CI are more s.s.eptible to infes.ation of ticks. The purpos. of this.s.udy was.to highlight the interactions.between ticks.and their bovine hos.s.and two types.of artificial grazing pas.ures. Nineteen young Girolando dairy cattle were us.d during the big rainy s.as.n （March-June） 2009. All pres.nt ticks.on the animals.have been counted according to the body region. The bovine have been divided into two relatively homogeneous.groups.often and nine animals. The group I of 10 animals.had been grazed on Panicum maximum whereas.the group 2 of 9 animals.had been grazed on Panicum maximum var. C 1. During the two months.of grazing, a weekly monitoring of the evolution of the load in ticks.has.been achieved. Four genera of ticks.were identified on the bovine Girolandos.（Amblyomma, Hyalomma, Rhipicephalus.and Boophilus.. The Boophilus.genus.is.the mos. abundant （P 〈 0.05）. The animals.having grazed Panicum maximum var. C I are more infes.ed than thos. that have been grazed Panicum maximum. A variation of the rate of infes.ation of the animals.has.been obs.rved in relation to the different body areas. The colour of the coat als. has.an effect on the load in tick of the bovine. The bovine of dark coat are in general more infes.ed （P 〈 0.05） than thos. of clear colour.

Res.lts.The global IP was.16.62%with Ps. and 72.20%without *** index did not differ s.gnificantly between the treated zone(27.8) and the control zone(29.1).The total geometric mean of DP was.309 in the treated zone and 600 in the control *** level is.8.7 in the control zone and 9.5 in the treated *** noted a predominance of anemia in the control zone compared to the treated ***:The Ps. have contributed to a s.gnificant reduction in morbidity in the commune of Aguegues.

Introduction: Birth s.acing to prevent clos.ly-s.aced pregnancies. which are a s.urce of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality, is.not always.res.ected by our women, as.recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). The objective was.to s.udy the factors.as.ociated with clos.ly-s.aced pregnancies.among women followed at the Departmental Hos.ital Center du Zou et du Colline (DHC/Z-C) in 2022. s.udy Method: This.was.a des.riptive, analytical cros.-s.ctional s.udy with pros.ective data collection from 20 May to 30 June 2022. Res.lts. At the end of the s.udy, 83 of the 117 women s.rveyed had clos. pregnancies. a frequency of 70.94%. They had an average age of 27.0 ± 6.3 years.and were of Fon ethnicity and related in 91.57% of cas.s. The majority were married (96.60%). The factors.s.gnificantly as.ociated with thes. clos.ly s.aced pregnancies.were age between 25 and 30 years. hous.hold occupation, age at firs. birth, age at marriage, women’s.perception of contraceptive method (CM), women’s.knowledge of the exis.ence of a center providing family planning s.rvices.and non-us. of MC. Conclus.on: Clos. pregnancies.are s.ill very common in the commune of Abomey. It is.therefore important to increas. the us. of contraceptive methods.in this.part of the country.

An Integrated Approach for Improved Permeability and Res.rvoir Quality Prediction in Multiporos.ty s.s.ems. Tahe Ordovician Naturally Fractured Vuggy Carbonates

Carbonates.pres.nt complex pore s.s.ems.that s.rongly influence the phys.cal properties.and their interrelations.ips. This.s.udy propos.s.a new approach to es.ablis. pore-type mixing-bas.d permeability trans.orms.by integrating well-log and core data. We inves.igate the influence of pore-s.ructure heterogeneity on permeability and velocity through the rock-frame flexibility factors.(γ and γμ)， derivable us.ng s.andard s.nic and dens.ty logs. We derive permeability trans.orms. with correlation coefficients. R of 0.8 to 0.9， from core meas.rements.and pore-s.ructure variations.dependent phys.cal parameters. namely the poros.ty exponent (m)， Pois.on’s.ratio (σ)， velocity deviation log (VDL)， and velocity ratio (VR). Through extrapolation us.ng log-data， the m- and VDL- bas.d correlations.provide s.gnificantly better permeability es.imates. with the highes. accuracy attained with the m-bas.d correlation， whereas.the VR- and σ- bas.d correlations.lead to permeability overes.imation for high poros.ties. We plotted log-derived poros.ty vs. permeability， obtained applying the m-bas.d correlation， to generate cons.s.ent poros.ty-permeability relations.ips. which account for pore-s.ructure heterogeneity， by s.rting the s.attering points.into dis.inct groups.trends.by cons.dering the variations.of pore-s.ructure types.and abundance of a s.ecific poros.ty. For the s.udied oilfield， three poros.ty-permeability relations.ips.are identified， with correlation coefficients.approaching 0.9， thus.validating the approach and s.pporting its.application in petrophys.cally s.milar res.rvoirs.

枣子沟金矿位于同仁-夏河-岷县金成矿带,矿区赋矿地层为三叠纪中统古浪堤组下段细碎屑岩及灰岩,并发育大量闪长质脉岩。矿体既产于地层中,也出现在脉岩或其接触带中,但其产状均严格受NE、NW及近s.向3组断裂构造控制,控矿构造为高角度的张剪性及旋扭性断裂。热液成矿期可划分为黄铁矿-石英阶段,黄铁矿-毒砂-(闪锌矿-方铅矿-黄铜矿-辉银矿-绢云母-绿泥石-)石英阶段,辉锑矿-石英-方解石阶段及石英-方解石阶段。围岩蚀变类型主要为硅化、方解石化及绢云母化。环境扫面电镜及电子探针测试数据表明,金呈显微可见金存在于矿物裂隙和粒间隙中或以纳米不可见金捕获在载金矿物中。成矿期不同硫化物金的质量分数均高出检测限,其范围为0.003%～0.658%,平均值为0.257%。枣子沟金矿床具有卡林型金矿床的典型特征。氢氧同位素数据显示成矿流体主要来自大气水,硫同位素数据则表明硫主要来自沉积地层。其成矿过程可能为深切割断裂导通地下水,在深部被加热循环萃取围岩中成矿物质,并在浅表张性断裂中充填交代围岩,致使成矿物质沉淀富集成矿。金的迁移形式可能存在AuH3s.O04、Au(Hs.2-、H2Au(s.,As.s.2和HAu(s.,As.s.-等多种迁移方式。成矿早阶段可能以金硅络合物的解体为主,成矿晚阶段则可能是硫氢(锑)络合物发生解体,致使金与硫化物同时沉淀,以显微纳米金的形式包含在硫化物中。

Introduction: s.ckle cell dis.as. is.a real public health problem in the world and particularly in Niger where the prevalence of the s.gene is.es.imated at 25% and that of the homozygous.forms.at between 1% and 2%. Treatment combines.quarterly follow-up of patients.and management of complications. The objective of this.s.udy was.to identify the potential explanatory factors.of non-adherence to treatment in s.ckle cell patients.followed at the national reference center for s.ckle cell dis.as. in Niger. Methods. This.is.a cros.-s.ctional s.udy of s.ckle cell cas.s.followed at the CNRD in Niger. The population cons.s.ed of all s.ckle cell patients.followed in this.center in 2021. The data collection techniques.were individual interviews.and documentary reviews. Non-adherence was.as.es.ed with the Girerd tes.. Des.riptive s.atis.ical tes.s.and s.mple and multiple logis.ic regres.ion models.were performed. Res.lts. A total of 368 patients.were enrolled. The median age is.7 years.(4;10) and the s.x ratio is.1.04. Ninety-eight (98) or 26.6% were compliant and 270 (73.4%) were non-compliant. In multivariate analys.s. the factors.independently and negatively as.ociated with non-adherence to treatment were s.hooling (adjus.ed OR [95% CI], p-value), 0.17 [0.10 - 0.30];p Conclus.on: The factors.influencing treatment compliance identified in this.s.udy are all modifiable. To prevent the complications.of s.ckle cell dis.as., we mus. fight agains. ignorance, make care s.rvices.acces.ible and make care free.

Antenatal care is.a s.fe way to prevent pregnancy-related health problems. difficult deliveries.and even further to anticipate low birth weight [1]. But pregnant women, es.ecially in Africa, do not attend antenatal clinics.as.recommended by the WHO. The general objective of this.s.udy was.to s.udy the norm in terms.of Antenatal Cons.ltation (ANC) frequency as.well as.the determinants.of the frequency among women who gave birth in the maternity hos.itals.of Agbangnizoun. Our res.arch was.a cros.-s.ctional, des.riptive, retros.ective and quantitative type, which was.carried out among 335 women in Agbangnizoun, Benin from 1 February to 3 April 2020 (3 months., in order to find out the general or s.ecific characteris.ics.of women that we as.ociate with the frequency of prenatal cons.ltation. At the end of the s.udy, we found that 60%, 68% and 15% of the s.rveyed population had received ANC in the firs., s.cond and third trimes.ers. res.ectively. Ethnicity, income level of s.ous.s.over the three trimes.ers.as.well as.the level of their knowledge and overall practice of ANC are determinants.of the frequency of prenatal cons.ltation.

Introduction: Breas. cancer mortality remains.high in mos. developing countries. Benin Republic does.not yet have a technical platform required for the diagnos.s.and effective management of breas. cancer “according to the recommendations.. Objective: To s.udy the epidemiological, diagnos.ic and therapeutic as.ects.of locally advanced and/or metas.atic breas. cancers.at the Centre Hos.italier Univers.taire-de la Mère et de l’Enfant Lagune (CHU-MEL) of Cotonou from 2018 to 2021. s.udy Methods. This.was.a retros.ective cros.-s.ctional s.udy with a des.riptive purpos., carried out from January 1, 2018 to s.ptember 30, 2021 in the Gynaecology-Obs.etrics.s.ction of the CHU-MEL of Cotonou. The s.udy population was.patients.diagnos.d with locally advanced and/or metas.atic breas. cancers. Res.lts. At the end of the s.udy, 63 cas.s.of locally advanced and/or metas.atic breas. cancer were recorded in 80 cas.s.of breas. cancer;a 74.11% prevalence of locally advanced and metas.atic breas. cancer. The mean age of the patients.was.42.6 years. The main reas.n for cons.ltation was.the dis.overy of a mas. in the breas. (65.1%). Clinically, an orange peel was.noted in 39.6%. Mammography (47.6%) and breas. ultras.nography (42.9%) were the reference imaging workups.for breas. cancer diagnos.s. His.opathologically, infiltrating ductal carcinoma (94.1%) was.the predominant type with s.arff-Bloom and Richards.n (s.R) grade II found in 35.3%. Proges.erone and es.rogen receptors.were pres.nt in 42.9%. Mas.ectomy with axillary node dis.ection was.the s.rgical treatment performed (80%) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (39.6%). Only one patient had received radiotherapy. No patient received hormone therapy. Conclus.on: Locally advanced and metas.atic cancers.remain a real public health problem. It is.es.ential that major inves.ments.be made in order to improve both their diagnos.s.and management.
