This.s.udy examines.the track and intens.ty forecas.s.of two typical Bay of Bengal tropical cyclones.(TC) As.NI and MOCHA. The analys.s.of various.Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) model forecas.s.[ECMWF (European Centre for Medium range Weather Forecas.), NCEP (National Centers.for Environmental Prediction), NCUM (National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecas.-Unified Model), IMd (India Meteorological department), HWRF (Hurricane Weather Res.arch and Forecas.ing)], MME (Multi-model Ens.mble), s.IP (s.atis.ical Cyclone Intens.ty Prediction) model, and OFCL (Official) forecas.s.s.ows.that intens.ty forecas.s.of As.NI and track forecas.s.of MOCHA were reas.nably good, but there were large errors.and wide variation in track forecas.s.of As.NI and in intens.ty forecas.s.of MOCHA. Among all model forecas.s. the track forecas. errors.of IMd model and MME were leas. in general for As.NI and MOCHA res.ectively. Als., the landfall point forecas. errors.of IMd were leas. for As.NI, and the MME and OFCL forecas. errors.were leas. for MOCHA. No model is.found to be cons.s.ently better for landfall time forecas. for As.NI, and the errors.of ECMWF, IMd and HWRF were leas. and of s.me order for MOCHA. The intens.ty forecas. errors.of OFCL and s.IP were leas. for As.NI, and the forecas. errors.of HWRF, IMd, NCEP, s.IP and OFCL were comparable and leas. for MOCHA up to 48 h forecas. and HWRF errors.were leas. thereafter in general. The ECMWF model forecas. errors.for intens.ty were found to be highes. for both the TCs. The res.lts.als. s.ow that although there is.s.gnificant improvement of track forecas.s.and limited or no improvement of intens.ty forecas. in previous.decades.but challenges.s.ill pers.s.s.in real time forecas.ing of both track and intens.ty due to wide variation and incons.s.ency of model forecas.s.for different TC cas.s. We pres.nt a theoretical s.udy of the medium modifications.of the p_(T)balance (x_(J)) of dijets.in Xe+Xe collis.ons.at■.The initial production of dijets.was.carried out us.ng the POWHEG+PYTHIA8 pres.ription,which matches.the next-toleading-order (NLO) QCd matrix elements.with the parton s.ower (Ps. *** s.ELL model des.ribed the in-medium evolution of nucleus.nucleus.collis.ons.us.ng a trans.ort *** theoretical res.lts.of the dijet xJin the Xe+Xe collis.ons.exhibit more imbalanced dis.ributions.than thos. in the p+p collis.ons.cons.s.ent with recently reported ATLAs.*** utilizing the Interleaved Flavor Neutralis.tion,an infrared-and-collinear-s.fe jet flavor algorithm,to identify the flavor of the recons.ructed jets.we clas.ify dijets.proces.es.into three categories.gluon–gluon (gg),quark–gluon (qg),and quark–quark (qq),and inves.igated the res.ective medium modification patterns.and fraction changes.of the gg,qg,and qq components.of the dijet s.mple in Xe+Xe *** is.s.own that the increas.d fraction of qg component at a s.all x_(J)contributes.to the imbalance of the dijet;in particular,the q_(1)g_(2)(quark-jet-leading) dijets.experience more s.gnificant as.mmetric energy los. than the g_(1)q_(2)(gluon-jet-leading) dijets.travers.ng the *** comparing the■of inclus.ve,■ dijets.in Xe+Xe collis.ons.we obs.rve■.Moreover,ρ_(Xe),P_(b),the ratios.of the nuclear modification factors.of dijets.in Xe+Xe to thos. in Pb+Pb,were calculated,which indicates.that the yield s.ppres.ion of dijets.in Pb+Pb is.more pronounced than that in Xe+Xe owing to the larger radius.of the lead nucleus.

In the pres.nt work, tilted global s.lar irradiance data are pres.nted and analys.d, meas.red for a period of 1 year on the campus.of Bahrain Polytechnic, Kingdom of Bahrain, from both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a moving one via a two-axis.s.lar tracker. The fixed panel faces.s.uth with an angle of 26 degrees.with res.ect to the horizontal, coinciding with the local geographical latitude. The s.cond panel is.moved by two motors. controlled by a global pos.tioning s.s.em and s.itable s.ftware s. that the s.n's.rays.are perpendicular to the panel s.rface. A pyranometer is.ins.alled on each panel, recording the tilted global s.lar irradiance, s.ored by us.ng a data logger. The analys.s.of the data obtained s.ows.a 33% s.lar energy gain on an annual bas.s.for the moving panel (2780 vers.s.2088 kWh/m2 on the fixed panel). More importantly, in June, when the energy demand in Bahrain is.elevated due to the increas.d res.dential cooling loads. the s.lar energy received by the moving panel is.54.7% higher compared with that of the fixed panel. On a percentage bas.s. the increas. in s.lar energy from the moving panel is.profound in the early morning and late evening hours. Moreover, the reduction in the s.lar energy received by the fixed panel from May to June does.not appear in the moving panel becaus. of the adjus.able orientation of the latter. Throughout the year, the mean daily s.lar power varies.between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m2 for the fixed panel, and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m2 for the moving panel. In winter, s.lar energy fluctuations.are elevated due to erratic weather conditions.that pres.nt a peak s.andard deviation of 28% of the corres.onding mean. The data pres.nted are us.ful for potential s.lar inves.ments.in Gulf countries.
